The chicken and the egg. There are hardly any customers in there. Do they offer poor customer service because there are hardly any customers to attend to? Or, are there hardly any customers because of poor customer service? It makes you wonder how they afford the staff, the satellite dish, the cars. I have patronized this business with my own hard earned money and every time I go in there, the owner is rude to me. I remember the first time I went in there and bought something. While someone else rang up my order and I paid, he remarked to them with disdain about selling more of that item in the past month then in his whole life. I didn't know how to take that, so I bought it and left. Did he not want me to buy it? Another time I came in and ordered a meal and when I went to leave and said thanks he ignored me, instead eying this girl that came in for a waitress job and said to the guy who usually rings me up, "Yo, what do you think about her for a waitress?" Another time, I came in to eat
and a kid was working behind the counter and he had to relay what I was saying to the guy who could hear me place my order, then the older woman who was on the floor told me to go sit down and they'd bring it to me. Then when it was time for my check, the kid saw me, and the woman passed me by. Finally after 5 minutes the kid asked me if I was ready to check out. So I got up and he had to relay the order for the check from the same guy as before despite the fact that I was only 1 of 3 patrons in there and the last to have their meal made. My final visit I went to buy something, and coming off the road went to the restroom first. The owner started beating on the door yelling "Can I help you?" I told him when I washed my hands. He beat more on the door and said, "Excuse me?" I came out and asked him how many times I had patronized his business? He said "I don't even know you", and you know as he and I know from reading above that is not true. There were no customers in there and I came to buy, but then he made insults about what I was wearing one after another. I looked at the cooler I came to buy from, and thought about it; this place is not worth my money and it's not worth yours either. Try Palmierri's 5 minutes up the street. read more
