Warning if you place an order online via their suggested method of visiting Toast Online Ordering. According to the employee I spoke to, they do not receive the Special Instructions you might enter when asking for any modifications. Twice I've ordered online and asked for no basil and a small amount of pizza sauce. Both times I've received basil on my pizza. Today they had trouble finding my order even though I received a text that my order was ready, and it had a lot of sauce. With the time spent finding my pizza, and all the pizza sauce, it was a mushy pizza. Such a shame as $20 for a small pizza is more than I usually pay, but when they get it right - it's a great pizza. read more

Best pizza in the Indy suburbs! Order ahead online and schedule a pick up, you won't be disappointed. Our go-to order is the vodka sausage pizza, it's delectable. The pizzas are made fresh to order so anticipate a wait if you go to eat at the restaurant. We find ordering ahead is the best way to get the pizza when you want it. read more

Went with family for lunch and there was plenty of seating. Large menu with unique options. My husband and I split 2 10- inch, the veggie goat and Dragon. Both were good, the dragon too spicy for me and I like spice. My husband said it was perfect for him. The veggie goat was good, generous with goat cheese. I think I would have enjoyed an extra seasoning on it, like garlic, but it was still tasty. The best part of it all is the fluffy crust! Some family members did a build your own vegan and a large pizza. The only comment was the large pizza seemed a little uncooked in the very middle. Overall we enjoyed it all. We enjoy the crust and unique flavors. read more

Firstly, I want to say that the food was outstanding. I ordered $200 worth of pizza for a party, and every single pizza was fantastic. Our guests absolutely loved it, and the quality exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, the service during pickup was disappointing. My mother-in-law picked up the order for us and told me there were several employees standing behind the counter talking while she loaded all five pizzas herself. No one offered to help carry the pizzas or even hold the door open for her as she made multiple trips outside in the pouring rain. I don't typically leave a tip on carryout orders, but because this was such a large order, I made a point to tip. It was disappointing to hear that despite that, no one offered such a simple act of assistance. While I wasn't expecting anyone to carry the pizzas to the car, holding the door open or asking if she needed a hand would have gone a long way. I wanted to bring this to your attention because the food was truly excellent, and I'd like to continue ordering from Pizza Uncommon in the future. I hope you'll share this feedback with your team so that future customers--especially those placing large carryout orders--receive the same level of care in service that they do in the quality of the food. read more

My husband enjoys places that have a lot of different options. Especially when it comes to pizza. The service is hit or miss. The employees seem to hide in the back. I don't know what that's about. They have many different options. The food is expensive. However, it's also a higher tier of quality pizza and toppings. I don't like this People-First charge. I don't know who it goes to, as well as if it's a tip or not. It says no tips, but then who are "people"? Are we paying the employees with these charges? This is the only place I've seen this type of charge. I don't like learning about charges after the fact. Regardless of the amount, it's dishonest. read more

Scratch made pizza and gelato, was delicious! You can also make your pizza or breadsticks gluten free for an extra $4. The GF stuff was just as good as the regular stuff we had. The nice crust to the bottom of the pizza, fresh basil and toppings, all were tasty. The biscoff gelato was a delightful way to end the meal. I wish they had some salad or roasted veg options for a a healthier side or option, but they specialize in pizza and gelato and that is what they have, which I respect because they do it well! The service was good. You pay at the counter and you get a number, and they bring it out to you. Ambiance was vibrant, big murals. I also liked that they had games like uno to use when you wait. read more

The good, the bad and the ugly. Starting with the good, the pizza is not bad. Good crust with a nice tangy sauce and not overloaded with cheese. They also have nice selection of fountain drinks like tangerine and Mexican cola. The bad-the atmosphere was more for kids versus adults. It was very loud. The ugly- so many dirty uncleaned tables. They did have gelato selection but no one was around to serve it so I passed. They do have vegan gelato options. So overall the pizza was good but the atmosphere and restaurant was poor. Also a bit pricey as 2 small pizzas and 2 fountain drinks were $47 dollars! read more

The Problem We All Know Too Well For over a decade, my wife has navigated life with Celiac disease. If you've ever watched someone you love search desperately for truly great gluten-free pizza or even decent breadsticks. You know the disappointment that usually follows. Most places offer a cardboard-like substitute that makes you miss the real thing even more. Then We Found Pizza Uncommon The name says it all: Pizza Uncommon. Once you taste it, you'll wish it was more common. I'm serious, it's the kind of place you'd want in every town. When my wife took her first bite, here's what she said: "Gluten-free pizza AND cheesy bread!!!! My first GF cheesy bread in over a decade of being GF." Let that sink in. A decade without cheesy bread. What Makes It Different? Pizza Uncommon isn't your typical pizza joint. Their menu is a perfect blend of traditional favorites and wildly creative options. Crab rangoon pizza, anyone? Yes, they have it. And yes, it's delicious. When I walked in for the first time, Shianne greeted me with genuine warmth. She patiently answered all my questions and effortlessly accommodated my wife's gluten-free needs. The pizza arrived exactly when promised, and we both loved it. They also offer a great selection of ice cream, including gluten-free options. Let's Talk About the Elephant in the Room The food is truly delicious, but I need to be honest with you: the prices are significantly higher than your average pizza place. This isn't Domino's or Papa John's. It's unique, boutique, and crafted with care. A ten-inch pizza, any variety, costs $17. The gluten-free breadsticks are $8 for a half order of four sticks. So, Is It Worth It? Absolutely yes. My wife declared it one of the best gluten-free options she's ever had. Pizza Uncommon now sits alongside her longtime favorites: Jets and Monical's. That's not a small accomplishment. If you want something different and delicious, served with exceptional customer service by people who genuinely care, check out Pizza Uncommon. You might just find yourself wishing, like we do, that they were more common in every city. read more

In town for week and staying in Carmel, I saw that this place had a Crab Rangoon pizza, so I was immediately sold. I ordered before I left, made it to the store almost exactly at my pick up time, and they were just about to get my pizza out of the oven, so it was only a couple minute wait. Then I just had to wait to get back to where I'm staying to dig in. My car was filled with the smell of delicious pizza. It was definitely worth the stop. I had both garlic/cheesy breadsticks and the Crab Rangoon pizza. I thought both were very good, though I will say that if you visit, you should go with the most adventurous option. To me, the price was worth what I got, but if you get something basic that you can get literally anywhere, you should probably go elsewhere instead. It's the fun flavor combinations that make this place worth a visit. read more

My first experience with pizza uncommon in Westfield, IN was terrible. We went on Monday at 2 o'clock and the place was empty. The staff working that day was unprofessional looking with shoes untied looking like they just got out of bed. The floor was a slip hazard and the chairs felt like they came from TEMU. The breadsticks were swimming in melted cream cheese icing and were stuck to the paper underneath. No Pepsi or coke products on tap... only cane sugar drinks and water. $45 for a 12' pizza and 4 breadsticks is ridiculous. Will not be going back. read more

My friend and I stopped at Pizza Uncommon in Westfield to grab lunch. It was after lunch rush, so not very busy. I ordered the margarita pizza and they have craft fountain drinks - no name brands. I got a black cherry soda that was delicious. You go up to the counter to order pizza and you get a number - so pretty casual - and the food is brought to you. They also have beer options, and we were told we could sample any that we'd like. My pizza was perfect. The crust is incredible. The staff were so friendly and checked on us frequently. I could see that it may be loud inside if it were busy, but it was great to be able to have a relaxed conversation. read more

Pizza Uncommon is an Indiana based restaurant that started in West Lafayette. This location in Westfield is the first in the Indy area, so I was excited to give them a try. They offer upscale pizza and ice cream with vegan and gluten free options. All the ingredients are fresh in the gelato, which is made in-house. They also serve local craft beer from Field Brewery. The menu is complex with a number of artsy pizza options. Zach, our server, explained the pizza options and made recommendations. He was welcoming, friendly and attentive. We ordered a 10" Shitaki Mushroom Truffle pie. The 10 inch was plenty for two people because the toppings go all the way to the edge. The garlic sauce is strong which we loved, loved, loved. The pizza is unique with a ton of great flavors. I liked the crust because it wasn't real thick, but was still soft. We also each had a small gelato, after Zach described the all natural ingredients. I had the Indy Coffee Cold Brew gelato which is made from locally roasted coffee. The rich flavor was the BEST coffee flavor ice cream I've ever had. I could live off that gelato. My husband had the Honey Roasted Strawberry gelato, at Zach's recommendation. The gelato was bursting with strawberry flavor. They may have ruined me for other gelatos. The dining room is open and airy with colorful murals. The bench seating is a little uncomfortable. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall lot, including accessible space. I'll be back and highly recommend! read more

This was a surprise dinner which turned out to be quite delicious! We tried Shitake mushroom truffle and elote. And I must say Elote with the tajin and chipotle mayo flavors. Tangy, warm and delicious with the spicy kick. The space was so clean and inviting. The service was great and we had a great time. Highly recommend pizza uncommon for a variety of gluten free options too! read more

Can honestly say that this might be our go to spot! Hearing they had GF options and all sorts of variety, our family of 4 drove to their location (old Rail spot) The interior is basically the same, walk up to the counter, order your food and then they bring it out to you. Their drinks are not name brand soft drinks but there are healthier alternatives and teas. They also have an ice cream station that caters to special diets for lactose intolerance. Recommend the pesto chicken lemon pizza! Kid approved too! It's nice to have an instore dining place but with more variety! It's the modern way to make pizza! Not only did we have a great experience, but we we got home, our neighbors ordered to go items! Can't wait to support! read more

This was a fun experience. Snag a table when you walk in, it was busy and only so many large tables if you are with a group. They have a menu on the wall, or paper menus you can grab and bring back to the table to review. The pizza choices were "uncommon" and interesting combinations. The new fad is hot honey, and they had a pizza that featured hot honey, jalepenos and meat; made my son happy. I am a Hawaiian pizza lover, and they had a sweet baby rays, pineapple and ham called the "Sweet Chick", that was delicious. The cheesy garlic breadsticks were where it's at, three of us shared an order of 8. Don't skimp on the breadsticks. I loved their choice to provide a Maine Root soda machine that provided drinks with organic cane sugar. The unisex bathrooms are clean. They have plenty of boxes sitting out at stations so you can take your food home. They share a building with Uncommon Gelato. The flavors for Gelato were also "uncommon". Our server let us sample a few o before we purchased. They had a basic sea salt- olive oil flavor and also a Ritz Bitz cracker that tasted like peanut butter and cheese crackers. I ended up happy with Nutella flavored gelato. It was a really fun place to hang out for dinner for an hour with my kids. Will definitely go back again. read more

Pizza uncommon had delicious pizza, a clean interior and a kind cash register. All of the food we had was delicious, but the wait was awful. While there were multiple pickup orders, only 2 tables were full. One of them was ours. We waited 50 minutes for our 2 pizzas only to not get our breadsticks for another 15 minutes along with all of our dipping sauces. We had to ask for those as they had been forgotten. The workers would just not make eye contact with us and go about their day. We even said excuse me multiple times to a woman who glanced and kept walking toward the kitchen. If it weren't for the delay and lack of updates, this would have been a 5 star experience because the food truly was good. read more

Pizza Uncommon - Pizza Near Me - Westfield, Indiana

Boilermakers should be rejoicing, because Pizza Uncommon (a West Lafayette pizza joint) is now here in Indy. Well, Westfield. I don't know what the Purdue-adjacent Pizza Uncommon is like, but this one is new and still has few kinks to work out. First, the positives. The pizza is excellent, though a bit pricey: $17 for a 10-inch. Mamma mia! But Pizza Uncommon stone-fires their pizzas, and they offer a lot of unusual flavors that I've never or rarely seen on a pizza, like honey blackberry, crab rangoon and salted burrata. They also have lots of vegan pizza options, if you're into that sort of thing. We got the lemon pepper bianca (olive oil, basil, fresh mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, salt, pepper and a lemon wedge that you squeeze over it). I'm still dreaming about this pizza, and I think I'm going to have to go back and get one to smash all by myself. I never would have thought that lemon juice would be great on a pizza, but it all comes together and makes sense once you taste it. This is a delightful pie. We also got the hot honey pepperoni, and my kids really liked this one. It's not spicy at all, and the honey adds a nice sweetness. The pepperoni they use on this one are the mini pepperoni that curl into cups and hold little puddles of pepperoni grease. I love these kinds of pepperoni because I love a greasy slice of pepperoni pizza. Alright, so the pizza is poppin' off. But I mentioned that they're working out some kinks here, and the biggest one is the wait. Be prepared to wait at least an hour if you visit in person! I placed my to-go order online, and I still had to wait 20 minutes beyond my pickup time. As I waited, the restaurant began filling up with people and the line to order started getting longer. The place was packed. I saw people wanting to dine in being told that it would be an hour wait, then an hour and twenty minutes, then they just stopped taking orders. They also stopped taking phone orders. This was on a Saturday at dinnertime, which is obviously one of the busiest times. I'm thinking this is something that will improve over time, so if you want to visit during these early days, bring your patience. Pizza Uncommon also has a cute ice cream shop inside the restaurant (well, it's gelato, so gelataria?), and they offer vegan and regular flavors of gelato. I will definitely be back to visit Pizza Uncommon, because the pizzas are amazing. I might just wait a few months for them to figure out everything. read more

Just went to Pizza Uncommon tonite at the Westfield location, and the pizza was incredible! We recommend the Veggie Goat Cheese, the Hot Honey Pepperoni and the Bianca! You will not be disappointed! Shout it from the mountain top ! THE "MEAT MONSTER" pizza is the Greatest Of All Pizza. Now if I had said it was the "GOAP" you wouldn't know what I was talking about. The Monster Meat pizza comes with pepperoni, homemade sausage, Virginia ham, and bacon. The sour dough pizza crust is perfect and they are very generous with the toppings. There's many choices of pizza combinations to pick from on the menu and you can also build your own. The restaurant is new, very clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They also have an ice cream section off to the side in the store. I had the Cold Brew Coffee flavor. It was ok, but I've had better at other ice cream shops. Come early for dinner because there's a crowd and the tables fill up quickly. I want to let you know the food here is a little more expensive than other pizza chains, but well worth the money. read more

Pizza Uncommon has only been open for a few days in Westfield. Overall, I think they're still suffering from some initial growing/opening pains. Food: The Vodka Sausage pizza was very good - lots of flavor. But, the actual quantity of sausage was a little low. Service: We arrived as a party of four at 6pm on a Saturday, so I expected a crowd. What I didn't expect was a brawl. By some miracle, we found a 4-seat table, which was filthy and hadn't been cleaned (I cleaned it). Lots of food debris and napkins all over the floor. They told us it would be an hour and a half to get our food. ?!?!!? Say what? They over-delivered and only took an hour and ten minutes, but clearly the kitchen doesn't have its act together. Ambiance: They basically just repurposed the former Rail restaurant's layout and furniture, which was always weird and had a ton of wasted space. There is a "bar" area right in the middle of what could be a larger dining area, and they're just using it for pizza box storage (while people are competing for tables). I guess this is what you get when a college town pizza joint comes to your hometown. You feel like maybe the kids are the ones running the place (?). I do hold out hope for this place. The one saving grace is that the pizza itself is very, very good. So, maybe we'll come back in a month to see if they've figured out the whole "restaurant" thing yet... read more

Great vegan pizza. We loved the seitan and vegan ice cream! Finally a place where all of us vegan and vegetarian can go together!

We ordered the Gluten Free Everything Pizza with no onions and it was so good. Personally, I would prefer it with the onions but my husband doesn't like onions. The crust was crisp and there were plenty of toppings on it. Was a bit surprised by a $4 increase for a gluten-free crust but we get it. A 10 inch pizza is $21 so it's a bit pricey. The other gluten free pizza was a chicken bacon ranch and again very good. We also ordered the gluten free garlic and cheese sticks. They were good but a bit dense. We know it's hard to make things light and fluffy that are gluten free. They tasted really good and we appreciated the great option but will probably not order those again going forward. The only issue we had is that we were at Four Fingers Distillery where you can bring or order in your food and Pizza Uncommon uses Uber Eats for the delivery option. Unfortunately, we had to leave our party and go get it because Uber Eats didn't allow us to order without onions or customize. Not Pizza Uncommon's fault for sure but just a bit less convenient. Definitely one of the better gluten-free pizzas we've had in the area. Love all the great options! read more

It was nice to walk in and see the familiar setup from the restaurant that was there previously. This is a very nice addition to the area. Their pizzas and ingredients are quality and I had to admire their options for the vegan/dairy free crowd, with vegan pizza and dairy-free gelato options. I tried their vegetarian pesto burrata pizza and it was great. There was burrata on every slice, and the pesto wasn't too strong. Pizza crust was baked well. The breadsticks were highly recommended by others and I could see why. The jalapeño cheese breadsticks, were amazing. I could even order the plain breadsticks and still be just as happy. The dough is great. Not heavy, with a good chew. Almost like a light focaccia. It tasted different from the pizza dough, or maybe it is the same, just different preparation/bake time. I tried two flavors of their dairy-free gelato and it was creamy goodness: Indie Cold Brew Coffee and Salted Pistachio. This was the best combination of flavors. The pistachio was pretty sweet. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I like coffee flavored things, and I like how both flavors balanced each other out, when combined in a single cup. Interior is roomy, although they were busy for Friday night service, and being newly opened. They had a stack of pick-up orders, so that's a good way to go too. read more

They have some seriously good pizza here! The crust has a perfect crunch to chew ratio. My husband and I each got a pizza of our own but tried each others. He had the vodka sausage and I tried the sausage pesto. The flavor combination on the sausage pesto was great. The pesto was bright and flavorful and I loved the addition of the hot honey. My husband enjoyed the vodka sausage. It had a nice kick. While I was picking our pizzas up, I went ahead and tried some of their house made gelato. I tried the blueberry poppyseed and it was delicious. We ordered ahead several hours in advance and it was hot and ready when I arrived at my scheduled time. The interior was bright and clean.
