Poor delivery of a cauliflower crust pizza
Tim C.

It happened again. I think the delivery guy carried this as a briefcase!. Check you pizza before they leave!

Missing sauce and cheese, just bread over most of the pizza
Brandon S.

Had our issues with this location before, but today was the worst. Two lage pizzas, with more than half of each pizza having almost no sauce and missing cheese. Someone looked at this and said it was good enough to give to someone.

This is a picture of everything that I did not order.

Pretty disappointed that my simple order was totally wrong. It was supposed to be a build your own up just pepperoni and red onion... The receipt is correct. Because of the hour now I am stuck trying to figure out what to eat.

We ordered our pizza via the Marcos website this evening. The pizzas were ready about 20 minutes later. We paid for the food online which made the pick up efficient for us. The pizza is a little greasy for my taste and the portions sizes are smaller than many of the their competitors. You also pay a little more than you would at other Pizza restaurants and I am not sure why.

We ordered this pizza when nothing else was opened. We were very disappointed, the pizza was not good and the prices were still high.

Three members of our group ordered Chicken Alfredo, and all said that it was very dry with so little sauce that it looked like no sauce at all. Two requested extra sauce from our server and one just didn't eat hers at all. It took quite some time for someone from the kitchen to bring the extra sauce, by which time the others had finished eating. They were all charged for the extra sauce, even though it had been missing from their entrées. The server hadn't checked back with us or offered refills. Two in our group ordered salads, and they were happy with them. I observed two employees sitting on a bench, having a conversation while it appeared that tables needed to be bussed and cleaned. We waited a long time for our server to bring our checks, and then longer for our payments to be taken. I also had a recent experience with a carry out order where some of the items I had ordered were missing when I picked up the food, even though I had been charged for them. I was picking up an order to take to work so I didn't have time to return and pick up the items missing from the order. Crafters has a great atmosphere but improvement is needed in both food and service.

Even before the barstool review this has been on my list to try just from the tons of positive Google reviews. The people that complain about the wait time are missing the point - it's that popular and in demand and a small pizza shop. If you have any ounce of patience, use it and order ahead so you can try it. It's on the expensive side. All said, it's still well worth it. The pizzas are huge and very authentic New York. Hamilton county has tons of pizza places with brick oven doughy crust, but not like this New York style one. It's crusty and thin, but not doughy. Super airy and flakey - by the time you get to the last bite of the crust it's honestly messy and crumbs are everywhere. You could scrape the bottom of the pizza and hear that crackle. The tomato sauce seemed like true tomatoes, not a sauce with a bunch of additions. The Parmesan on top gave it some saltiness too. We had onions, sausage, and pepperoni toppings - they don't overload them, it's like the right amount to be able to appreciate the pizza as a stand alone and the toppings. It's locally owned too and from the interviews I've seen, you can tell they just care about making great pizza and keeping it as simple as that. Overall, I'm impressed. I'd recommend if you're a foodie and appreciate good food.

The nice crust to the bottom of the pizza, fresh basil and toppings, all were tasty. The biscoff gelato was a delightful way to end the meal. I wish they had some salad or roasted veg options for a a healthier side or option, but they specialize in pizza and gelato and that is what they have, which I respect because they do it well! The service was good. You pay at the counter and you get a number, and they bring it out to you. Ambiance was vibrant, big murals. I also liked that they had games like uno to use when you wait.

The Problem We All Know Too Well…read more For over a decade, my wife has navigated life with Celiac disease. If you've ever watched someone you love search desperately for truly great gluten-free pizza or even decent breadsticks. You know the disappointment that usually follows. Most places offer a cardboard-like substitute that makes you miss the real thing even more. Then We Found Pizza Uncommon The name says it all: Pizza Uncommon. Once you taste it, you'll wish it was more common. I'm serious, it's the kind of place you'd want in every town. When my wife took her first bite, here's what she said: "Gluten-free pizza AND cheesy bread!!!! My first GF cheesy bread in over a decade of being GF." Let that sink in. A decade without cheesy bread. What Makes It Different? Pizza Uncommon isn't your typical pizza joint. Their menu is a perfect blend of traditional favorites and wildly creative options. Crab rangoon pizza, anyone? Yes, they have it. And yes, it's delicious. When I walked in for the first time, Shianne greeted me with genuine warmth. She patiently answered all my questions and effortlessly accommodated my wife's gluten-free needs. The pizza arrived exactly when promised, and we both loved it. They also offer a great selection of ice cream, including gluten-free options. Let's Talk About the Elephant in the Room The food is truly delicious, but I need to be honest with you: the prices are significantly higher than your average pizza place. This isn't Domino's or Papa John's. It's unique, boutique, and crafted with care. A ten-inch pizza, any variety, costs $17. The gluten-free breadsticks are $8 for a half order of four sticks. So, Is It Worth It? Absolutely yes. My wife declared it one of the best gluten-free options she's ever had. Pizza Uncommon now sits alongside her longtime favorites: Jets and Monical's. That's not a small accomplishment. If you want something different and delicious, served with exceptional customer service by people who genuinely care, check out Pizza Uncommon. You might just find yourself wishing, like we do, that they were more common in every city.
