This place makes our favorite pizza and kept us happily fed every Saturday during COVID lockdown. Sadly one day we stopped to pick up our pizza and the customer in front of us was trying to order his lunch in broken English, and by pointing at the overhead menu. The man behind the counter (owner?), rather than helping the customer, said, "I can't understand what you're saying." After a few times of a back-and-forth exchange he finally lost patience and said, "Never mind, you'll just get what I give you." This happened during country-wide protestations of racial intolerance and I was appalled that a business I was purposefully supporting would treat a customer with such intolerance and derision. I expressed my anger and lack of acceptance of this behavior to the owner right then and there (I'm not sure he's the owner, I'm referring to the man who is always behind the counter taking orders, answering the phone, etc. so I'm assuming he's the owner) and want to share this information in case there are others who want to know. A few times since then I've ordered pizza because it's SO GOOD but when I picked it up, I remembered the treatment of that customer and it soured my experience. So...we will boycott and not support individuals/business who don't act with kindness towards fellow human beings. read more

Great neighborhood place. I've been going there for years. Good prices. Friendly service and fast delivery. Personal favs are the meatball pizza, chicken parm sub and cheeseburgers. My girl likes the honey chicken sub and the salads. This is definitely a "to go" place as it's very small, but I think this is what lets them keep the prices down. The only knock I could put on this place is they are closed on Sundays, but they totally deserve a day off too! read more

I ordered 12 pizzas for my boys birthday party. They came on time and all piping hot! The buffalo chicken pizza was a huuuuge hit. Well, after living in Brookline for a year, we moved down to NC this past summer. I wanted to give an update after eating at Pizza Stop for a year. It was great the entire year. The guys who work there were really nice and always had a smile. The food quality did not diminish and even now I get cravings for it. It was so good. Haven't found anything as good down here in NC yet and we've been here 5 months. We miss Brookline and especially Pizza Stop. We will stop in again when we visit. Excellent. I have been going here for years as I live close by and I truly love the buffalo chicken subs, and their burgers are also very fresh and great. Beyond that, they have very reasonable prices, and this is actually a family run business by excellent men who treat everyone very well. This place is reminiscent of the type of place you would see in a small town-where the shop owners look out for everyone and actually take pride in their cooking and satisfying the customers. Small pizza shop with high-quality food and good service. Love their pies especially right after they come out of the oven. I'm part of a team building a house around the corner and a couple of guys would probably be willing to eat their chicken wing/finger plates for the rest of their lives. This is getting 4 stars because the pizza is simpy not 5 star pizza. Ok, so the pizza isn't 5 stars, but it is a quality 3 stars in my opinion. As for the subs I think they are the best in the area. Very good chicken parm and steak and cheese subs and the greek salads are fantastic as well. Not a lot of room for seating and the street parking can fill up, but simply put, the subs are top notch. read more

This place is GREAT!! I started working in the neighborhood about 8 months ago and order my lunches from here almost daily. The guys who work here are so nice & friendly! The place is known for great pizza & subs...so I was surprised at how great and fresh the salads are. My favorite is the Greek salad with grilled chicken.
