(Hubby was happy because he got to try something too when I got back.) In terms of service, it's the north end so a little brusque, but you'll be happy you came.

The driver dropped it off in front of the building and I picked it up. After first trying it, I was not impressed. It was very hard and dry. I had to reheat it in the microwave for it to be edible. I was expecting a delicious pizza packed with flavor. Instead I got something that I had to force myself to eat. I know Boston is not known for their pizza but I was expecting something halfway decent. If it was not for the Uber Eats discount I would have been upset with spending the cash. Next time I will try to check out some other spots for a slice of pizza.

The steak tips were juicy and cooked nicely, but they tasted like they lacked seasoning or marinade so I had to sprinkle some salt and pepper on them. Of course, the pizza is what we were really there for and I can tell you that it checks all the boxes for a classic pizza. The crust is on the thinner, crispier side which I actually prefer. The pie as a whole had a great color and good flavor between the cheese, sauce and toppings. After experiencing it for myself, it's pretty easy to understand why Santarpio's is so highly regarded in the world of pizza. They stick to what they know and they execute it well.

Ordered a calzone and a soda. They bring me the complete wrong one. I call to ask for a different one or a refund, lady on the phone says they're closing and there's nothing she can do about it. If you didn't have the one I ordered, you could've called and ask which one I wanted instead of making your own assumption and picking whatever. Extremely rude driver too. He was in the wrong building and when I called again after being hung up on he found me outside waiting at the door for him and acted as if it annoyed him. Definitely won't order from here again. A favorite spot of mine. I've gotten a handful of items from each section of the menu and enjoyed everything.
