Remarkably solid no frills go to spot for daily lunch. Sandwiches and wraps are large and value priced with excellent ingredients. The pizza slices are small and only $2. Staff is attentive even when busy and will treat regulars well with caring customer service. Daily specials are excellent in price and variety. Much better than any local shop nearby. read more

A true gem for people within this small Brookline neighborhood, as the other options nearby are less than desirable. Consistent and reliable, great for weekend gatherings. Pizza and other dishes meet expectations. Not the greatest value, certainly on the pricier side for comparable spots. Food is often ready later than promised. read more

Great place for chicken fingers and food. Good food. About average prices. Juli( short for, "Julian") and Jonathan are really cool cats. Both of the guys are super friendly and efficient. You'll always know if a place is worth its salt, if you see a lot of tradesmen, cops, city workers eating there. (They know where the good places are always). The guy Jonathan remembered me after ordering from them for delivery maybe 3 times, and he remembered me! Nice to feel seen. read more

I picked up a large cheese and a large mushroom pizza for 4 hungry college students based on yelp reviews and the prices posted on the supposed Pizza Stop website. The food was mediocre and the prices were a scam. For 2 single item pizzas, a greek salad and large fries and large onion rings I paid $60. The pizza crust tasted like something from Little Caesars or another chain. The rest of the ingredients on the pizzas were similarly meh! Everything else was fine but nothing special. Portion sizes were not generous and the promised 16 inch pizzas were actually 14.75" in diameter (see photo). In the end I was disappointed and felt ripped off. read more

Pizza Stop - shrunken pizza in a 16" box - Pizza Near Me - Brookline, Massachusetts

Great pizza, great chicken tenders, nice staff. I usually don't review places but I'm bored so I'm going to review everything now!! I will definitely get pizza at this place again! read more

This has been our go to place for years for solid Greek-style pizza, buffalo tenders and Greek salad. And it's always fresh. And they deliver. And they're always pleasant. And it's better than any of the other crap pizza in this town. (And I am a bit of a pizza snob, growing up in CT, where Apizza is a thing!) Enough ands, now for the buts.....as another reviewer mentioned, there has been some shrinkage in the past year or so; pies are smaller, slices are smaller. They also seem to be skimping on the toppings, cheese and sauce were minimal which results in a kind of dry pizza, and if you are reheating leftovers, it just exacerbates the issue. That said, it's still pretty damn good and and delivery makes it a perfect option for those days I don't feel like cooking. And that is everyday. read more

Great pizza, great subs, great prices. Staff is always on top of everything and super friendly. Love comin here for lunch !

Super solid lunch spot in Brookline, perfect for grabbing a cheap soda and slice. They have a menu of subs and other food, but I'm a fan of the pizza which has good crust and a fair cheese ratio. The staff is very efficient even when they are slammed, and always friendly read more

Incredible food with superb pizza. Offers great service for you to enjoy to the fullest

We are visiting from Atlanta. found this hole in the wall pizza joint just a 10 minute walk from hotel. When I tell you they had the BEST Chicken artichoke pizza I have ever eaten. I mean it! We loved it so much we ate there 3 days in a row. Friendly staff... must be a great place for the locals since they were greeting most customers by name.. well worth it read more

Pizza Stop - Chicken Artichoke with spinach - Pizza Near Me - Brookline, Massachusetts

Excellent pizza, great service, friendly folks and really reasonably priced, especially for the area. I'd take this place over Stoked and Pino's any day of the week. read more

Best ingredients used! Great salads, pizza and burgers! I have been a fan of this place for a decade.

I happened to walk by this place and thought it looked cute. When I saw the reviews in Yelp, I decided to give them a try! I got a steak and cheese sub and it was delicious. This is my new go-to place! I have to be honest and say that I have only tried the steak and cheese subs because they are so good! The staff is very friendly and the place does have some tables and chairs in case you want to eat there. read more

OK, so I walked in on MLK evening after visiting my wife in the hospital, just as they were cleaning up to close. Chairs were stacked and the floor was just mopped. Yet, they gladly took my order for a calzone and made it as I waited. I came here for some comfort food and they surely provided it with a great attitude. And, the calzone was delicious. Give these guys your business! read more

Excellent. Great food. Nice people. Great service. Everything is very good. Classic neighborhood classic. You can't go wrong.

Solid lunch stop. Great wraps and great subs. Pizza is really good but not amazing. The staff is always very nice.

Best Italian sub in greater Boston. Will discuss at length. Recommend the steak bomb, buffalo chicken, and tuna sub as well. Neighborhood "go to" for many Brookline locals. Best New England Greek Style Pizza in greater Boston. Easy to access from Jamaica Plain, Brookline, Roxbury, West Roxbury. read more

Love this place. Family like atmosphere, good food at really reasonable prices. I usually get a slice or a sub at lunch, but today I decided to get a grilled chicken Caesar salad and was very pleasantly surprised. They were just finishing up cooking my chicken when I walked in so it was warm and well seasoned. The dressing was thick and yummy, crutons crunchy and garlicy. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, cut to a really nice size. Overall a lot better than I expected, for a place that specializes in pizza. read more

I've only visited a few times since moving to the neighborhood, but they get a serious five stars. Living in Brookline is expensive enough without having to pay out the nose for a casual (usually over-rated) meal, and Pizza Stop's prices are as crazy reasonable as it gets. You'd think that with low prices, you'd be getting just-passable food, but everything I've had has been fantastic! The burgers taste incredibly fresh (~$3.50), and the onion rings are just amazing. And under $2 for a slice? Yes, please! I've heard good things about the subs...I'll have to try one of those next. Atmosphere: It's a basic takeout pizza place setup (except dependably cleaner) - don't plan on bringing a big group here, since it's got seating for maybe 10 people, total. But, for a few of you, it definitely gets the job done. The credit card thing is unfortunate, but that's how it is living in Boston...you can never assume you'll be able to use one. I'll gladly scrounge up some cash instead of paying a lot more at Deno's down the street. I'm not sure this is totally recent, but the prices look very close to what I remember seeing the last time I went in: http://brooklinepizzastop.com/ read more

In Boston for a medical procedure and stopped by here. This place is REALLY awesome. Super great food and the service is awesome! We had wings and pizza and both were just epic. Don't sleep on this place! read more

Pizza is good. But I come back here because the guys behind the counter are great and the prices are very good. I can get a large pizza, sub and salad for about $22. That feeds four of us. I enjoy coming back. It is a great neighborhood place. read more

We are staying locally and walked in for a to go order. I cannot express enough how impressed I was. Not only were they beyond nice, friendly and accommodating, but they knew everyone's name who walked in. If you want great, local food and incredible service eat at Pizza Stop. We are so glad that we did! read more

The negative reviews are literally (no hyperbole) a bunch of Karens. This place is great, the people are fantastic as long as you're not disrespectful, and it's one of the only places I trust to ALWAYS be clean and fresh. Love you guys. read more

I feel honored to be the second person to write a review of this place. Around the corner from my house, been coming here since I was 4. The pizza here is the best pizza in America. PERIOD. This is a biased opinion mind you, this place is not for everyone. There is no place to sit really, especially in peak times (after school from 3PM-5), they only deliver to favored customers, the staff are kinda cold toward unfamiliar customers... Ignore this review. It's just a little too biased read more

First review. The pizza was awesome, the people behind the counter were kind n gracious. What more do you need? 10/10 Would order again. read more

SO Confused by the positive reviews! Eaten here three times and been incredibly disappointed every time. The pizza is completely tasteless - even by Boston standards. Bland, cardboard, uncooked pizza. Clearly just frozen and warmed up!Totally in awe of the five star reviews - are we talking about the same place? read more

One of our favorite lunch place around. I love the buffalo chicken and the Chicken souvlaki sandwich. Excellent staff and service - they all have heart warming personality. John is so wonderful! Thank you! read more

The steak and cheese sub (with peppers) that I had from here was the best damn sub I've had in Boston/Greater Boston area, and the fries were on point. The steak tasted great and was cooked well, the peppers had a nice taste and crunch, and the little bit of mayo was the exclamation point on all of it. It was so good, that I won't dock any points for the cook's Seattle Seahawks hat. read more

If you're looking for a place that remembers your name, your order and even your personal life ; this is it. Pizza stop has been around for 30 years and shows no sign of slowing down. This afternoon I visited Pizza Stop and was a new customer. Their service was friendly and they paid attention to detail with my order. Without having to look at their menu, I asked them to make the cold sub I had on my mind. The ingredients were fresh and the service was friendly. I would make Pizza Stop my lunch spot again. read more

I Love their Greek salad, w fresh grilled chicken! Kids love their BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA! Everyone is happy EVERYTIME! Plus most reasonable in B'line! read more

The $2 pizza slices (pepperoni or cheese) are not good. Old pizza that has been sitting there. I feel like even if it were fresh, it still wouldn't be good! The buffalo chicken calzone is okay, but I'm sure you could find better around. The inside isn't too nice-nothing fancy. No fountain drinks. The workers aren't very friendly either. They talked bad about the customers that had just left. Nothing special. Pizza joints are a dime a dozen around here. You can find better! read more

This is a hole in the wall with no place to sit, but in my mind, the pizzas are divine and completely memorable. I lived near this place in 1992-93, then I moved away from Boston until 2005. In that time, I don't think I had any pizza to match that Pizza Stop Pizza. I don't know what it is that makes this pizza so good, but it's just as I remembered it. Perfectly cooked, dough that's just puffy enough, not too greasy, excellent sauce. I highly recommend this place. The staff are a bunch of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. When I went there for the first time after moving back to Boston, I didn't have enough cash for the pizza (it's a cash only joint). They said, "Pay us the next time," and I did. I loved that! read more

Good food. Good price. Lousy atmosphere. The guys are usually having inappropriate conversations for the workplace or general public when I'm in there. For this reason, I order my food to go. With that being said they are very friendly. I just don't think it occurs to them that some topics of conversation could be a turn off for some customers. read more

Used to love this place as a kid: pizza was decent owner was nice. He's still there now but, the kids he has working for him are disgraceful and don't care. Even worse they're rude as hell, act like this is they're clubhouse and the customer is intruding on their hangout. Wanted to smack this kid with the long hair he was so rude. Sad to see such rude service being tolerated by the owner, probably his ingrate nephews who have no respect for him giving them a place to work. That's too bad, but not the customers problem. Cheese pizza was: half almost no cheese, just sauce, and then a big spot of globbed unmelted cheese on just one slice. Threw it out, shook my head in disgust at yet another good place gone to hell and walked away for the last time. read more
