Cheese Pizza and French Fries
Harsh C.

I ordered this place for a quick bite while I was in the Boston area. Needless to say, it was not bad but the pizza was a bit bland for me along with the fries. Also, it was very greasy so I was not able to finish the meal. I would say more seasoning would make this place much much better. Overall, not the best experience but staff is nice so check it out!

a cheese pizza on a pan

Ordered a chicken parm calzone and a small cheese pizza. Calzone was REALLY good, but the small cheese pizza was a bit greasy. Good sauce on the pizza. Good service too. Has the decor of a classic Taco Bell.

Average overall. Calzone 85% bread. Ould improve cleanliness (like maybe paint the soiled bathroom doors?)

Worst pizza by the slice I've ever had. As simple as that. Sat out too long, re-heated too long, greasy.

Just ok. They could easily do a better job with delivery, service and overall food quality. No consistency.

I would go back just for that - crispy + slicing with scissors adds a whole other feel to it. I feel in control of my flatbread. Calamari was good but I'd choose the flatbread over anything. Can't go wrong with fig, goat cheese, and prosciutto. Emma didn't like the dill on there but I didn't mind. Enjoyed with a nice glass of white wine while we dined outside.

Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, but it's super convenient to get to via the Green Line, which made it easy overall. For food, everything was delicious: The Romaine & Kale Caesar was good, though I wish it had whole anchovies for a little extra punch. The prosciutto bruschetta was incredible, definitely a standout. The crispy cauliflower was my favorite dish of the night, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The rigatoni bolognese was solid and comforting. The Chianti-Marsala braised beef short rib was insanely tender and cooked perfectly (just wish there were a few more mushrooms!). Also have to mention the dirty martini was so good. Overall, such a great spot with a fun vibe, amazing service, and really tasty food. I'll definitely be back!

I thought everything was quite balanced. The sandwich was about $21. Which I thought was reasonable because it was big enough to feed two people. There werent much of a wait when I was there, so service was quick. You order at the counter and they make your sandwich. Just tell them what you want and Bada Bing, Bada boom: you got your sandwich in a couple of minutes. They have seating inside and out. It was a nice day so my gf and I decided to do a picnic outside on the grass at the Boston Common. Nothing like enjoying a nice sandwich and watching all the sketchy weirdos walking around.

It's a pretty great sandwich, actually. I like the Boss, but there are many great options. There are just two things to keep in mind: 1) it's relatively expensive (though doable) 2) the sandwiches are quite rich and salty, often relying on a flavorful cream element (truffle cream, pistachio cream, etc.) As a result, I probably wouldn't go every day or even every week. But a once-a-month cadence or so would be great. Try it!

I got the smash burger with fries (so good) and the blood orange spritz which was super refreshing and fruity (just how I like it). The smash burger comes with a special sauce, American cheese, and shredded lettuce with a side of either fries or greens. I love a special sauce, and theirs is delicious. At this Fenway location, they have the layout of the space planned out/sectioned off nicely. By the bar you're seated either directly at the bar or at hightop tables in an area with bright lights and there's tv's on playing sports (basically picture your classic bar scene), but then they also have normal low-top seating near the bar (which is more like your regular restaurant experience), as well as a whole section that is dimly lit and has a date night vibe to it. Pretty cool how they can pull off the different vibes within the one space and it all works.

They started doing more soups and salads too now so you can do a 1/2 soup or salad and 1/2 sandwich. Their sandwiches are generously portioned (read can be two meals if you are on a college budget like me) It's a little over 6 for the sandwich (or 1/2 and 1/2) with your choice of apple or small bag of Cape Cod Chips. I always get pretty much the same- garlic oil, fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. It's a great sandwich- although once in a while their basil is not fresh. You can choose to get it grilled or not. The wait is usually 5-10 minutes, but at least the ordering system (pen and paper) means that I've never had an error with my sandwich. More fast moving places should do this I think. Anyway, you can choose all sorts of things here really- there are lots and lots of options, which is what we all want in our over personalized, individualistic society, right? :)
