Okay Pino's, I have slept on you and for that - I apologize. I was finally in the area and there was parking in front of their place at 5:30 so I saw it as a sign. I usually try to get pictures, but I had a light lunch so both slices were demolished. I got a pepperoni slice and a Sicilian cheese slice and also a fountain drink - Pepsi. $13 (I can't remember if it was with tip or not, but I would pay it again). The guy at the counter was nice enough and it has a cute little old school pizza spot vibe (probably because it is one). After 5 minutes, it was ready and I was headed out. I ate these in my parking spot to give reference to the hunger I was having. Can I say how refreshing it is to get slices that aren't burnt to hell? Don't get me wrong - there's the brick over and wood-fired and all that. Okay, I get it, but some places just absolutely burn the eff out of your crust just to reheat and you end up with acrid cardboard slices covered in grease. I tried the foldable pepperoni slice first and yes, it's a bit greasy but we love it. Very tasty and everything worked well; crust had a nice chew and the cheese/sauce/pepperoni all worked very well together. That Sicilian slice sent me; such a nice bite that I was cussing in my car about it (in a good way). Are these Michelin level? I love Pino's. I'm from upstate New York, and I spent a couple of years looking for a good pizza place. There are plenty of fine pizzas in Boston, but nothing really felt like home. When I found Pino's, I immediately noticed that it had that sort of family business atmosphere to it. In a world of corporate joints, that is something special. The pizza itself is great, too. Their circular pies are fine, but the Sicilian style is really something special. Plus, they're always quick. I've never waited more than fifteen minutes for a pizza, regardless of when I order. Wow - DELICIOUS PIZZA! Ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and in just the perfect amount. I ordered a large half margherita w/ garlic & half pepperoni w/ extra cheese pizza on a requested thin crust. The guys behind the counter making the fresh dough, kneading it out by hand, & making the pizza were super friendly & helpful. There is a reason they got an award for top 3 best of 2026 pizza! Was in the Boston area and had to stop at Pino's to reminisce about my college days 38 years ago. I vividly recall walking down the hill to Cleveland circle with fellow classmates to grab a few slices. Weather it be regular style or Sicilian the pizza was hot, delicious and affordable. The walk back was always more enjoyable with a full belly. This time I ordered a Sicilian pizza with pepperoni, onion and olives and a Greek salad. Pizza was amazing as was the salad. Pinos makes great pizza. We ordered two pizza to go a large cheese and a veggie pizza both were excellent. Pinos cheese rivals any pizza out there regardless of who is getting the most votes. Like it says on the Box "you can end the quest at Pino's you have found the best! The veggie pizza was so good fresh veggies just wonderful I had two slices of eash and i was stuffed. Spent a good part of the summer in New York City and had my fair share of New York Style Pizza while there. If you like a thin slice of pizza with a chewy, yet crunch texture, then Pino's traditional pizza (not the Sicilian.. "Square" pizza) comes closest to New York Style Pizza. My Review is based on 2 visits that I had here. My first visit was late at night while driving home and craving a slice. The store hours state that it is open until 1am, I came through the doors at 11:50pm, and everything was closed and cleaned up. The manager and the cook was standing at the register getting ready to call it a day. I apologized for coming in started to turn around and head back out. The manager was very kind and said, "No problem what do you want?" I told him I just wanted a slice of cheese and he said that it wouldn't be a problem because he had a full pizza and asked if I wanted to buy the whole thing instead. Just as he asked, the door opened and the customer came in apologizing for being late (Owner of the whole cheese pizza I was about to buy). The manager's face looked like, "Oh crap what do I do?" I spoke up first and said that it was be okay, and I would come back another time. Understanding what had happened, the late customer said they would be happy to give up a slice (so long as they were not charged for the slice I was taking). The manager took out a slice, threw it in the oven and a few minutes later I was handed a hot slice of cheese pizza. I was happy with the gesture from all those involved, but the slice I got was a small slice. (can't be helped, the pizzas are cut by hand). To get a better review, I went back yesterday for lunch and got the number 1 combo (2 slices of cheese and a soda) for $10. The slices were definitely larger. The texture is spot on with New York Style Pizza. read more

He lied and said he "tried to call me twice". If he had admitted that he 'forgot to call', I wouldn't be so livid. The pizza is cold, after sitting on the GROUND for 20 minutes. This was s the pizza of my childhood, and I'm pretty old. When I was a kid growing up in Brookline, if it was a special day, my mom would get pizza from Pino's. It was always delicious. I moved away many years ago and hadn't been there since. Last year I was in Brookline, so ordered a pizza from Pino's to take home with me. Just as delicious as I remembered. On a road trip and decided to visit this old haunt from my college days. Its local competition (Presto's Pizza) shut its doors years ago, so Pino's now appropriately is the King of Cleveland Circle. I went basic, with just two slices since I was only doing takeout before getting back on the road. The thin crust pepperoni slice was as good as I remembered. The Sicilian slice, cheese only, was even better. It was light as a feather, with an awesome taste and sauce to cheese ratio. It wasn't one of those heavy as a brick pizza bombs that Sicilian slices often are. This is truly one of the best slices on the planet and since I was sober and it was not 1am - the opposite of my normal visits while in college - I could appreciate Pino's amazing consistency and quality over decades of time. Service is quick, to the point, and not all that friendly, and the dining room ain't much, but who cares? I used to order the baked ziti dinner and it's probably still good, although today's price may limit how often college students lacking parental wealth (like me) could eat it. I had dinner here with four other people tonight. It's been my uncle-in-law's favorite pizza joint for over 30 years. He took me, my husband, and some cousins there so we could try the steak & cheese sandwich. My UIL always orders it a special way and claims it's the absolute best, so I was excited to finally try this after literally years of hype. Well, let me just say that the food totally lived up to the hype! My UIL orders the sandwich as follows: steak and cheese sandwich (12" sub w pepper and onion. here is what my UIL adds: - lightly toasted bread - light mayo - light onion - light pickle - tomato - lettuce I was balking at the idea of lettuce, tomato, MAYO?? on a steak and cheese. But I trusted him and was not led astray. It was delicious. The bread they use is fluffy and light, so when it's toasted the outside gets perfectly crispy. The mayo and lettuce added that fresh creamy crunch. The steak they use is HIGH quality - not fatty or gristly. It's sliced thinly with slices of cheese in there. The best part is they serve the steak and cheese with a hot pepper relish. My UIL got ours on the side, which I liked so I could add even more. It's DELICIOUS! I will be thinking about that sandwich for a while and can't wait l have another one. Will probably have to try their pizza soon, too! read more
