I was a little concerned, despite their high rating, that the quality of the non-restricted pizzas would not be that good. But it was absolutely perfect. Came in at lunch hour on a Monday and was waiting almost 30 minutes for my pizza. One guy was tossing the dough at the beginning and one girl was manning the register and the toppings and the online to-go orders. One guy was doing the oven and running the finished pizzas to their tables. I was really excited to try this place out. I really wanted to love it. After already coming in hungry and waiting a long while for the pizza, I bit into the slice, cheese melting, me awaiting for that satisfying FINALLY bite. It was just short of being good. I opted for the San Marzano tomatoes sauce for my pizza and it tasted as if my pizza was dough, mozzarella, ricotta and veggies. The ricotta was way too much. Dough was amazing I have to say! Rest of pizza not so much. Really disappointed. Then on top of that, you're thinking okay, personal sized custom pizza $9.95 is not too bad a price until you get to the register and realize that half the toppings are $1+ or more to add so you pay about $18 for a pizza and fountain drink for lunch. Id be okay paying that if the pizza had really wowed me, but I might as well go down the street to Agliolio or the other amazing Italian places in Boynton for a better and larger pizza for the same price. Not impressed. There are some wonderful custom pizza chains like Pielogy and Blaze pizza in South FL who do the exact same thing and are by far better. Wish I could've loved it more. read more

Sadly disappointed that I'm writing anything but a 5 star review for this place. I'm newly gluten free and dairy free, so I was so excited to find this place. The first time I had it (a few weeks ago) I was obsessed and told everyone they had to try it! I ordered it tonight (cheat night) and was so thrilled for it to arrive. Delivery took a while longer than expected, but it would be worth the wait this, right?! Wrong. It arrived late, tasted and looked like it came from a completely different restaurant than the first time. So beyond bummed as now I'm hesitant to get it again, since it's inconsistent and wasn't nearly as good the second time. Don't waste your time and money. The manager literally told the line cook that he was using too much sauce, which to me looked like an appropriate amount. They counted out the number of ingredients on my pizza. I mean each individual spinach leaf is pretty ridiculous. It took 30 minutes to put two 12 inch pizzas in an oven and cook them. Not an exaggeration literally 30 mins. Those Two pizzas came out to 20$. Surprise when I got home the pizza was undercooked! This place has nothing on Blaze pizza in terms of quality or service. Found this place when searching Yelp for a casual restaurant open past 10.30pm on a Saturday night in Boynton. PizzaRox appeared as the number one choice, and I have a weakness for pizza, so was excited to give it a try. Knew nothing about it, but the friendly staff were more than happy to talk about the concept, and provide some recommendations. We tried the special "Hotline Bling" and also the "Valley Girl" pizza. As we were paying we saw their draft beer taps. Again staff were friendly and accommodating, providing samples of the beers we were interested in. Overall this was a great experience! Nope. Pizza was A LOT of crust, and not great crust. Not cut well. Fell apart when we tried to grab a slice. Calzone was one of the worst I have had. All dry bread, nothing too much yummy. Asked for extra marinara, came with a tiny plastic cup and the sauce was totally bland. Tased like tomato sauce right out the the jar. Salad was fresh, but we asked for anchovies and had none. Dressing was yucky. Also you have to "build your own" salad -- so they can't just make a greek salad. And anyway when we did build our own, they forgot (or didn't have) anchovies. No delivery. I've been before and had a good experience, but it was slightly stressful to have to choose my four toppings quick enough to not piss the guy off!!! This place literally roxs! It's like a Chipotle for pizza. The pizza dough/ crust was want you'd want (crunchy and soft). They also offered a gluten free pizza that was a reasonable price. Although it wasn't the best pizza I ever had in my life (please understand I live in Florida now but spent most of my life in NY!) I had it my way. I was in the mood for a healthy veggie pizza and that's what I got. Great gourmet pizza. Don't expect the regular dull pizza. This is all freshly made in front of you. My last visit to Boynton Beach FL I ate lunch at Pizza Rox. It was a great little pizzeria. The owners Glen & Frank are the nicest guys. They are brother in laws, and you can tell by talking to them, they both love to cook.They made me and my cousin feel so welcome. I ordered the Californication. Prosciutto & Arugula. They use the freshest ingredients. The dough and sauce were outstanding. It was the greatest pizza. Then we had White Wedding for dessert. A cannoli lovers dream. I mean it was a slice of heaven. I will definitely be going back my next trip to Florida. I love my 2 new Italian friends. The staff is all so friendly. If you're ever in that area you need to stop in Pizza Rox. Finally trying this place out. Passed by it a lot, but never had the chance to go here. This place is really different than usually pizza places around. It has it's own unique and signature style that is a total change from the usual. They use fresh regular or gluten-free dough. The crust comes out really crunchy and somewhat thin. So far, I've tried some of the pizzas already, but I'll be sure to come back for more different one. If you love Arugula and Prosciutto, you must try Californication and Stacy's Mom. Went to this place because it was close to home. Couldn't be more pleased with the crust, marinara sauce, pepperoni and roasted garlic. The oven is the key because the pizza doesn't fall down at the point. The taste is so "old world". You do have to wait for it a little because it's made to order. I've not called ahead. An overall good place, just a little expensive for what you get. Ingredients tasted great and those working were nice, but the cost of pizza itself was high for the size (about $9) and way to many ingredients required an up-charge (with many of these uncharges being as high as $3 or even $4). While I did enjoy my pizza, other comparable pizza places simply just cost less (Ex.Blaze). Furthermore, they also seemed to work a little slower and have a less efficient system then comparable places. They do have many cool toppings (Nutella on a Pizza!) and options to meet many dietary needs, such as gluten free crust and dairy free cheese, but unfortunately it seemed like all of this stuff came with an up-charge. I likely will be back, but I think there is room for improvement in their pricing structure and efficiency. read more

Food was fantastic! My boyfriend had the BBQ chicken pizza, and I had a Hawaiian (with bacon and hot honey added by the managers suggestion) and both were excellent. Multiple employees checked to make sure our food was good and when the first pizza I had wasn't what I was expecting, the manager remade my pizza as the Hawaiian I ended up eating.
