Chicken ceaser salad lunch special that comes with garlic bread and a drink
    Orlando C.

Great lunch spot, pizza is good and their chicken ceaser salad is great. I've tried their other lunch specials which you should give a try like their chicken parm sandwich which is filling.

When you find the guys who are passionate about pizza, this is the go-to place. They will pretty much put any toppings they have on a perfectly cooked dough. Service is quick, and the seasonings are table side to add to the flavor. I very much so give this place a 9.9 on the best neighborhood pizza place. Get the canolli, too. Perfect finish to a great Italian meal.

My favorite pizza spot for over 12 years. Consistently the best. Fast, easy, delicious.

I came here for a quick lunch after moving my brother in law into his new place a few blocks away. The restaurant is small inside with only a few tables inside and a few tables outside. Our server was friendly and helpful. Originally we wanted to order slices of the speciality pizza, but they don't do that. So the server suggested we order a large pie half and half. We ordered the garlic rolls and a large pizza that was half buffalo chicken and half meat lovers. I'm not a big fan of garlic rolls in general, but the marinara that accompanied the rolls was fantastic. The buffalo chicken pizza was super tasty though I could have used some more buffalo sauce. The meat lovers was good, but not the best I've had.

The best NY pizza I've had since I've been in Florida, hands down. The crust, the toppings, even the red pepper flakes at the table. Just let me home.

I like to try new places and I heard a lot of great things about this pizzeria. I didn't have a menu but I got the number from the internet. They answered the phone immediately the girl was very nice I ordered a 18" large pizza for $16.95. The pizza was Huge and it was delicious!!! The sauce was great no complaints. Now that I have a menu I will definitely order from here again! Thank you!!!

Was recommended this place by a local who said it's her favorite pizza spot. We ordered, and it was ready in less than 20 minutes. It was so delicious! We were also so impressed with the flavor. It's not too greasy and didn't give either of us heartburn which is a huge win in my book.

Wow. What a pleasure. Everyone we came in contact with was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. From the moment we walked in the door, you could tell this place was humming. It was busy -- packed on a Friday night -- and the staff had it totally together. We decided to share one of their hot subs. And I also ordered a slice of cheese pizza -- since the name of the restaurant. After drinks arrived pdq, the pizza slice was close behind. Served hot, it had a nice thin crust. It was quite a large slice. We were given a plate with grated cheese, garlic, salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes in containers on it. No need to ask for any condiments. We were seated inside not far from the door. They also have outside seating. They did a ton of takeout orders. The steak sub we got -- cut in half already so we could share -- was wonderful. It had mushrooms, onions, and green peppers in addition to the cheese. There was a lot of meat on the sub. We even liked the bread it was on. It came with mayo, but we got this on the side -- for him to use. I didn't use any mayo nor did I feel it needed any. And, again, without asking, they brought an extra plate and extra napkins before our food came. We both said we'd order the same sandwich again. However, they also have a full range of other Italian dishes so we might like to try one of these options in the future...

I usually ate here at least twice a month or more for six years. And brought guests constantly . The food was always well prepared and at a reasonable price. The owner was always very friendly. BUT I will never again go back to Sofra after my experience last night. Last night I went with a couple of people that I had raved about this restaurant to. The owner, who certainly must've recognized me from the countless times I've eaten there in five years, barely grunted at me and the vibes I got from him were not very welcoming. He seemed really angry about something and was taking it out on his customers. There was only one other table that had customers and this was a Friday night. I found that really odd because other restaurants surrounding Sofra had lots of people sitting outside eating at their restaurants I ordered a falafel plate and others at our table ordered the İskender and another entrée. I practically passed out when I got the bill because I guess I didn't check the prices when I was ordering. The falafel plate, which was basically a spoonful of salad, a spoonful of rice, a few hard burned falafel, soup and a dribbling of tahini was $33. This is obscene. When this restaurant first opened they were charging for the same plate $15 and then they went to $25 after a few years which I thought was pretty high for the food we were getting but $33 is just plain greedy. I won't even do a review on the other two entrées because my party could barely eat them. I now see why there was nobody, literally nobody in this restaurant on a Friday night. And the owner, what happened to him? he used to be such a friendly guy and now he is just an angry man. The waitress never went back to check on us and refill our water after taking our order. Despite only two tables with customers in this restaurant. I read some of the reviews where owner says he hates the fucking country so why doesn't he just leave? There's plenty of really good Mediterranean restaurants that are not going to charge this kind of money for Mediterranean food. Even if the felafel was the best falafel I've ever eaten in my entire life - $33 is crazy. And it was not very good felafel - in fact all the food is mediocre. Where it once was amazing. So my suggestion to the owner is to lower his prices, improve the quality of his food and improve his attitude

A casually elegant setting where you can relax and enjoy the creative, original cooking of Chef Jeremy Bearman, along with the outstanding pastries and desserts crafted by his wife, Cyndi Bearman. Tonight we enjoyed the Andouille & Corn Pizza... another winner. Dessert is never an afterthought here. In fact, Oceano is one of the rare restaurants where I always plan on saving room because it would be a shame to miss what comes at the end of the meal. It was definitely a love at first site thing, and wow was it packed! Everyone was dressed well, having a great time. Honestly, I hear many places struggling in summer in Palm Beach county, but not this place! The mushroom pizza we ordered was fantastic, easily 10/10. The mushrooms were excellent, there was a nice char on the crust, the cheese was deliciously melty, yum. We also had a bottle of Chablis that was delightful. For dinner, we ordered a pasta dish that was also great. For dessert, we went with a shortbread cheesecake dessert which was very gastronomic. I loved everything. The only reason I am not giving them 5/5 was because my husband called ahead of time to request a desert with a candle in it AND he asked the front desk multiple times to make sure they had a dessert setup for my birthday and they did not, so he was really upset about that (I didn't mind). Our server was really sweet and knowledgeable. I guess she wasn't related the information, not her fault. I didn't realize how packed it would be here in July! We will definitely be back. It was very California like inside with the wooden panels and the bottles of wine on full display, along with beachy pics, and lots of natural light along with a cute back patio area.

It used to be a French restaurant for about 20 years and then kept changing hands with different types of cuisine. I am really hoping that is one of those restaurants that will make it. Our dinner experience here tonight was extremely pleasant. This is a huge restaurant with three rooms and a bar. There's a choice of about seven entrées and several salads and appetizers. We were a party of three and decided to try Pomona because we've never eaten there before. To start out with, I have got to give a shout out to our waiter Liam. I'm a senior citizen and I've eaten all over the world in many restaurants of every size and reputation, but I have never had a waiter as good as Liam. Even in Michelin five star restaurants in Europe . He was extremely pleasant, courteous, personable and ensured that we had a memorable dining experience. Let's face it. The food can be extraordinary, but if the weight staff sucks, then the experience is horrible. On the other hand of food could be mediocre, but if the service is outstanding, then you might overlook the mediocrity . It was the little things our waiter did like in between the appetizers and the salads and the main meal he came and gave us new napkins and changed all of our silverware. I have not even seen this in five star restaurants. He checked up on us frequently, which is something that waiters rarely do in any restaurant nowadays -- they usually take your order and that's the last you'll see of them until it's time for the check. But Liam checked on us frequently and make sure we had water and whatever we needed. Both my husband and I ordered the herb encrusted grouper. It was literally melt in your mouth grouper with some type of sauce that was made in heaven. The presentation was over orzo. I also had a Caesar salad. The third member of our party had the vodka penne. She loves Italian food and she said it was delicious. The portions were so huge that we had to take some home. Everyone in our party also had a Moscow Mule. For the quality of the food and the service this place was very reasonable --a party of three with cocktails, dinner, appetizers, and salad came to $155 before tax and tip. We will definitely return. And here is hoping that Pomona will last because we need a restaurant like this in downtown Lake Worth.

We started with their version of an old fashion (forget the name) and the passion fruit mocktail. The old fashion was delicious. The mocktail was ok, very syrupy. We ordered the ceviche and beet salad. The beet salad was original, innovative, and delicious. Ceviche was very good but tasted a little fishy. We decided to split the short rib entree. It was very good (8.75/10). Maybe a little sweet for my taste but a solid dish paired with a tamarind sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. We had the carrot cake for dessert and it was solid as well. The wait felt a little long from the bar and the kitchen to get our food and drink, but we were willing to overlook. The owner was very kind and warmly introduced himself. We may return for a drink and to hear the music in the future!
