Solid pie. I went with something simple (a pepperoni pizza) and it was perfect for a night in. It was even better reheated in the oven for leftovers the next day! Great place for a quick, easy pizza that isn't going to cost too much. Definitely a bit of a hole in the wall but don't let that scare you away! The employees were friendly and easygoing. I don't recommend the garlic knots. They were dry and quite hard, but we did come in later in the evening so maybe they weren't fresh. read more

Had to make a trek to Lake Worth for this one. They don't deliver to my area, and family visiting from out of state had fond memories of the place so here we are. Service was fast and friendly. The store was clean, and as soon as I walked in they had my pizzas ready. The pizzas themselves were cooked perfectly, thin crust but not burnt, with the perfect sauce to cheese to topping ratios, and just the right amount of bite to chew on their crust, with no dripping oil. If I loved any closer I could definitely make this my regular pizza place. My only con is the price. 2 pizzas + 1 can of coke = $54 OUCH!! read more

Friday night was our first time there. It's a tiny place cranking out pizzas and you can see everybody behind the counter making food, much like an old-school pizza parlor. There are some tables inside and outside with friendly table service. Super casual. They have a decent size menu, but we wanted to try the pizza. Great decision. We ordered a chicken Parmesan pizza and it was scrumptious. I like their sauce to cheese ratio. We ordered a couple of draft beers to go with it and they were ice cold. Looks like we found our new spot for pizza, whether we are going to eat there or pick up. The menu says they deliver, I'm not sure how far they go though. read more

When you find the guys who are passionate about pizza, this is the go-to place. They will pretty much put any toppings they have on a perfectly cooked dough. Service is quick, and the seasonings are table side to add to the flavor. I very much so give this place a 9.9 on the best neighborhood pizza place. Get the canolli, too. I came here for a quick lunch after moving my brother in law into his new place a few blocks away. The restaurant is small inside with only a few tables inside and a few tables outside. Our server was friendly and helpful. Originally we wanted to order slices of the speciality pizza, but they don't do that. So the server suggested we order a large pie half and half. We ordered the garlic rolls and a large pizza that was half buffalo chicken and half meat lovers. I'm not a big fan of garlic rolls in general, but the marinara that accompanied the rolls was fantastic. The buffalo chicken pizza was super tasty though I could have used some more buffalo sauce. After trying to order via the internet failed, we called and were on hold for 4 minutes so we decided to go order in person. We just purchased a thin large pizza half pepperoni, half mushrooms and the cinnamon ball desert. The pizza was horrible!! It was very dry, cold, very minimal amount of sauce and cheese. It's like it was made hours ago and slightly heated up. We live very close by and it was already at room temperature. The cinnamon balls with icing was good. I like to try new places and I heard a lot of great things about this pizzeria. I didn't have a menu but I got the number from the internet. They answered the phone immediately the girl was very nice I ordered a 18" large pizza for $16.95. The pizza was Huge and it was delicious!!! The sauce was great no complaints. Was recommended this place by a local who said it's her favorite pizza spot. We ordered, and it was ready in less than 20 minutes. It was so delicious! We were also so impressed with the flavor. It's not too greasy and didn't give either of us heartburn which is a huge win in my book. read more

Wow. What a pleasure. Everyone we came in contact with was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. From the moment we walked in the door, you could tell this place was humming. It was busy -- packed on a Friday night -- and the staff had it totally together. We decided to share one of their hot subs. And I also ordered a slice of cheese pizza -- since the name of the restaurant. After drinks arrived pdq, the pizza slice was close behind. Served hot, it had a nice thin crust. It was quite a large slice. We were given a plate with grated cheese, garlic, salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes in containers on it. No need to ask for any condiments. We were seated inside not far from the door. They also have outside seating. They did a ton of takeout orders. The steak sub we got -- cut in half already so we could share -- was wonderful. It had mushrooms, onions, and green peppers in addition to the cheese. There was a lot of meat on the sub. We even liked the bread it was on. It came with mayo, but we got this on the side -- for him to use. I didn't use any mayo nor did I feel it needed any. And, again, without asking, they brought an extra plate and extra napkins before our food came. We both said we'd order the same sandwich again. Nestled in cute downtown Lake Worth this small pizza shop offers big and robust flavors. The owners come in early and ensure the dough is made fresh daily. There are about 8-10 tables outside which was perfect because we brought along our fur baby! (Dog Friendly!!) They do offer table service which one wouldn't think they do because the place is so casual and small. Our server was very friendly and kind. Daily specials with great prices! I've been coming here for a while. I always order my food and eat outside WITH ZERO ISSUES but last night this lady literally told me "you got a to go box so you have to go" I was sitting outside around 9:30pm. There's no one else outside besides me till this couple showed up and they heard everything she told me. When she left they literally couldn't believe what she just told me. I was there with FOOD I PAID FOR and before this lady even came up to me THE MAN THAT SERVED ME literally walked by me and didn't say a word to me so I know I wasn't doing anything wrong. This is racism and discrimination CLEAR AS DAY. How could you possibly treat a customer like that? Over a box? Be serious people. I know you only treated me like that because of the color of my skin. I could care less about how you feel towards me just don't be rude to me especially after I just spent my money at your establishment. read more

Downtown Pizza is a good option for pizza if you are in Lake Worth, Florida and craving pizza. The puzza is definitely something that I woukd recommend. Growing up in New Jersey, I guess that I pretty much took it for granted that there was great pizza pretty much on every block. When I moved to Florida in 2001 (hard to believe that it has been twenty-one years already), I was both shocked and dismayed to learn that not only was great pizza not on every block, but you might not have good pizza or even decent pizza in a particular town. Good pizza became a rarity to find and most places were heavily populated with the national pizza chains, which I basically consider to be a fast food version of pizza. You know, kind of similar, but not very good. The pizza here is good and a definite treat. Don't settle on mediocre pizza, life is far too short for that. Instead seek out these pizzerias that offer good pizza. I woukd definitely recommend here. read more

I've always liked the pizza here as well as other dishes but after tonight NEVER AGAIN! All I did was call to tell them we got a chicken parm sub instead of the chicken parm meal! Wow, and the a-hole wanted to argue with me and be rude. Unbelievable. I didn't call to complain, just to let them know it's what happened, that's it. "Bring it back" he says - rudely of course. What an absolute jerk. The only thing I'd bring to that lowlife is a mouth full of bloody chicklets! Lots of good spots for pizza that's just as good as theirs and better. read more

This is my favorite pizza outside of NY. I've been here several times. Thre first time was after a night of bar hopping and I thought wow this pizza is great. I had to return to try it with sober tastebuds and still felt the same. The service is always friendly and the pizza is spot on perfectly cooked. Parking on the street can be limited on weekends & evenings but is typically available otherwise. The waitresses are phenomenal, remarkable efficient, kind, & welcoming. Super quick service. The eggplant parmigiana sub was scrumptious, the right amount of cheese & sauce & the eggplant was perfectly prepared. The meal was $10, a bargain for how huge it was! I came in, on one slow weeknight, I think a Tuesday,, nearer to closing. Bartender, a petite woman, was EXCELLENT. Pasta was al dente. I was excited to find a better Italian restaurant. I brought my daughter back, to try it, on a Saturday. The place is packed with people who look like they were taking the night off from their retirement communities. Smelled a lot like methane in the room, but that's an unfortunate side effect of the Lake Worth sewers in the downtown area, that afflicts restaurants from time to time. (No, it wasn't decomposing older folks.) The food was AWFUL. Food took 40 minutes, from order to table. Pasta overcooked. Sauces, including the marinara that I had asked to have with my ravioli? Poorly made. One was cold enough to switch out, but I couldn't get the bartender's attention, and my daughter dealt with it. Bartender? Treats his regulars well. The rest of us? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Worst service that I've had, sitting at the bar, in years. On my way out? I saw a big gent eating from a seafood pasta that literally was being served on a turkey platter. That was enough excess to almost make me hurl. Sealed the deal. Lesson learned. Won't be back again for a long while.
