Except for the fact that this is not a full service restaurant, we loved everything about this place. The pizza was really some of the best we've had in a long time. They've been in this same small location about 15 years and we just discovered them today. It's basically a takeout place -- but they do a very big delivery business. They are located on the northwest corner of military and lake worth road. It's in the same strip as the curry and Mexican restaurants. They face lake worth road. We drove by and decided to stop for a quick lunch. There are a few tables inside and a couple counter seats. One of the tables was occupied by two women sharing a hot sub sandwich. They told me this was the best place for pizza and that the restaurant has some of the best food around. That was encouraging. You order at the counter and then they deliver the food to our table. We paid at the counter after we finished eating. We both ordered their lunch special -- two slices of pizza and a drink. We helped ourselves to a can of soda from the cooler (mainly Pepsi products) and their chili flakes, salt, cheese, and garlic containers on the counter. They brought out our slices one at a time -- each piping hot from the oven. A bit of oil on top of the cheese. Considering we didn't get any toppings, it really was a very very good slice. The cheese made it. They have many other things on the menu besides pizza -- appetizers, subs, salads, Italian specialties, etc. We had a nice chat with the owner as we were paying. He said he stands by his food. He's very happy to have had consistently good reviews from his loyal base of customers. And he's not planning on going anywhere or expanding. So if you're craving a slice or more some lunch time and you're in the area... you should try them. read more

I have been a long time customer (years) at Greenacres Pizza but the last few times the pizza has been very bad. They have started skimping on the toppings to save money and even when I paid more for extra toppings they did this. I gave them one last try and specifically told the guy that took my order that the last pizza was very skimpy on toppings. He said he would make a note of it. The pizza I received was cold and again very skimpy and even smushed to one side like the driver stood it up vertically. I'm done. I found another local place that's much better. read more

My meal tonight had been ruined. I generally like the food and enjoy the meal. Tonight the delivery driver told me my 2-dollar tip (still over 15%) was not cutting it and I should be more generous. Not that it's anybody's business, but I'm on social security disability, and just ordering delivery is something I look forward to and budget for only to have the driver tell me my 2-dollar tip is not good enough... Beware rude manager tells you to go fuck yourself when you have an issue when they write your credit card and expiration date information on your receipt for everybody to see even the driver. Very disappointed in my experience with greenacres pizza. For starters they got my order wrong and the amount of food they gave us with just unacceptable, we ordered salads and only got a small amount of lettuce and was covered with huge slices of tomatoes. The food had a weird taste to it. The driver wasn't wearing a mask when delivering and was very unprofessional. I have been ordering from Greenacres Pizza for years. I order pretty much the same thing every time. I order my wings the same way every time, sauce on side with extra blue cheese. The last time I ordered the sauce was on the wings, which makes them soggy (the reason I order it on the side). I called to inform and was called a liar and told I did not ask for the sauce on the side. I have not ordered in a while for this reason. I tried again tonight, the gentleman taking my order ( who I assume is the owner) rushed me through my order and was not truly listening to me. Again, my wings came with the sauce on them, again, I called to inform them and again was called a liar and told I did not order the sauce on the side (that is a lie, I order them the same way EVERY TIME). When the delivery guy delivered them I explained that I had not ordered in a while for this reason and was told that is my choice. Not the proper way to address an order that they messed up. Very nasty people!!! I have always had problem when ordering. 6 of 10 times they would get the order wrong or they would forget something when they delivered it. But I continue because they do make good food when they get it right.. But this last time, They were so nasty with me. I placed the order and gave them my card info. 20 minutes later they call me back to reconfirm my card info. Seem like my card was declined because of being short. Which I did not know because they did not give me a total when they hung up. I figured that they were busy and would call me back if any problems. When they called mr back and told me that the card was decline. I told them that is the only card I had that I was going to have to cancel the order. They told me that they already made the order and that I will have to pay for the food they have to throw out next time I go to order something from them. I told them they should have got the approval first. He started screaming at me saying that I should know my balance and continue screaming at me, so I hung up. By the way the order was 2 cheeseburger and a italian sub. Not a big hundred dollar order or something like that. I have order from them over 200 times. And now they lost a loyal customer for their rudeness. And they have my card information which I am going have to monitor it for a few months. I would not put it past that person I spoke to to drum up charges on me in the future on my card. He was that rude and nasty and after what happened. I don't trust them. ok how has no one rated this place I literally am licking my chops just getting done eating their food and have to stop and write a review we probably have ordered there in the past maybe once but yesterday we had to order dinner late and our normal two places that we get from weren't taking any orders after 930 and I called at 9:31 so needless to say those places have lost our business even after reminding them of how well we tip and how often we order LOL then we remembered this place Greenacres pizza and not only did they take our order late they delivered in a very timely manner and the food was off the chain and it was so good that we ordered again tonight and they deserve a review now we ordered the lasagna and meatballs twice in a row so that's what I'm going by and that's what I have to say so far I'm sure we will order again from them in the future and try something new and if it's just as good I will update my review!hope this helps somebody in search of!! read more
