Sat at a booth which was low and uncomfortable. Tables were too close together. Even though the restaurant only had one other table, we had to call the waiter to get refills and items needed. The pizza and pasta were mid.

This is chicken Parmesan what happened to it, especially for the price

We keep having issues when we order from here. This one was the worst so now I have to say something.... We ordered a sub which was good. I had a calzone which was also good. My husband had chicken Parmesan meal. He gets it without the Parmesan because he can't do the cheese. It looked like they scraped it off of people's leftover plates. It was a disgusting pile of chicken. Chicken cutlets are supposed to be nice thin flat not big chunks and the pasta and the sauce on the pasta were completely tasteless. The pasta was like rubber. This is an expensive dish and I have to just throw it all in the garbage is ridiculous.

Tried this tonight, I usually order from Dominics or Mamma Mia. I will never order from here again. Pizza is mediocre at best, flavorless cardboard like crust. And the nerve to charge someone $11 for this no cheese, no dressing salad

I am extremely disappointed in this business. I have been a loyal customer of NYPD II for over five years. Tonight I ordered an extra large pizza with EXTRA CHEESE and bacon. Either they had a new pizza maker or they changed the quality of not only the pizza but how they make their pizza. First, if they made the pizza with extra cheese then they definitely changed how much they put on their pizza. There was very little cheese on my pizza. Second, their customer service was poor. I called and was told I couldn't talk to a manager for an hour. AN HOUR! I was told that I could get credit for extra cheese ($4)-WHOOPEE! She said she could send out another pizza-in 40 minutes. That was until I told her my daughter had eaten some. Then she covered the mouthpiece to talk to someone-the MANAGER. SO she could talk to the manager but I couldn't?!?! Wrong-VERY wrong! When I was told AGAIN I couldn't talk to the manager-yet she could-I hung up. Third and Finally, I ended up eating some of the pizza. It was NOT up to the standard that NYPD II has been in the past. The pizza tasted like shoe leather. The lack of extra cheese made it overly chewy and the absence of bacon was very noticeable. I wasted my money. Simply look at the photos and you'll see what I'm talking about. They've lost a customer. NOT because the pizza was nearly inedible, but because of their "customer service," or lack thereof. To put me off when I ask for a manager is inexcusable. Especially when the help can speak to the manager. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going elsewhere. UPDATE: I called back and spoke with Steve, the manager. He offered me a pizza of the same make whenever I want it. I will update my review as needed.

Chicken parm! Tasted just as good the next day for lunch. It's huge! Comes with a huge side of pasta.

Pizza was horrible , rubbery and tough. Very dry. Either the dough was worked too hard or the ingredients were off. Perhaps old dough.

The pizza is excellent and the people running it are awesome... friendly and accommodating... they care about their customers and have a great attitude. I went the day before their pizza was voted the Best in Palm Beach County for 2025. In that regard, it's worthy of the award. Was impressed with my first visit here... started with a super fresh salad, excellent. Loved my slice of "The Trio"... Fresh Mozzarella, Pesto, Vodka Sauce while I waited for my pie. Pizza was great but would love this pie with a thinner crust... then has the potential to be one of the best pies anywhere. When I spoke to the pizza maker, he understood, and said his customers like it like this, but next time I order a pie, ask for a thinner crust and they will make it that way. That is impressive... and exciting! Be back for that soon, and report on it. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Why I'll order again: hits the spot, and the craving, when we need it…read moreYou HAVE to order: classic pepperoni pizza Tony's Tip: tread lightly outside of the pizza realm Everyone needs a local pizza place. In fact, home doesn't really feel like home unless you got one. And now I got one. When we're at our Winter getaway in Palm Beach, some nights just call for pizza (okay, I have to call for the pizza). About a year ago, the wife and I did a mini tasting tour, grabbing a slice at three of the higher Yelp-rated pizza spots in the area (Lake Worth and Lantana, which are just across the bridge). East Side won hands down. The place is nothing to look at. It's a small joint in a strip mall that has seen better days. But that's where hidden gems like this lurk. And when it comes to the core mission, East Side gets it done. The pizza is your classic neighborhood recipe: thin but chewy crust, slightly sweet tomato sauce, classic mozzarella (and plenty of it!), plus a decent coverage of toppings. We've tried a few combinations and liked them all. My order is always ready at the pickup time, and we've never had a pizza that was overcooked. One caveat: I tried an Italian Combo sub once, thinking they'd execute that well. They didn't. The bread was hard, and the meats too thick. Basically inedible. My wife's Eggplant Parm sub also fell short. I'm gun shy about trying another sub. But when it comes to pizza, this is our place.

I've ordered from them multiple times since seeing them pop up on DoorDash. So far, we've loved the regular cheese pizza, the pepperoni pizza, and even the Greek salad. My kids were not fans of the garlic rolls, but I enjoyed them very much! The perfect spot for grabbing pies when headed to Lantana Beach, which I do quite often. So grateful for East Side Pizza!

What I received instead were two tiny, broken pieces that looked nothing like what was advertised. The portion size is honestly ridiculous and not worth even a few dollars. The taste was also very disappointing. This is extremely misleading and feels like a scam. Serving portions like this to paying customers is unacceptable. I will not order from this place again and do not recommend it to anyone.

I want the owner to see this…read more I saw this restaurant's flier (I think I got it in the mail I'm not sure) and I kept it in the kitchen for a few days because the picture on the front looks very enticing. I've seen videos of people eating pizza in Italy and it looks very similar to the picture on the front of the flier. (Smaller pie, half burnt however very fluffy crust, no cuts in the pie etc) and the picture features a "Margarita style" pizza. I wanted to order EXACTLY what I saw being advertised. I check the menu and it says "Pizza Medium 14 inch $16.99" which is what I was expecting. I order takeout, because I live not even 5 minutes away from the place. When I go to pickup the pizza, they tell me it's gonna be $28 (which is almost a 100% price increase from what I read on their menu). However, I think to myself "As long as I'm gonna get an authentic looking Italian-style Margarita pizza (like their menu shows) I'm fine with paying $28" So I pay the $28. I walk out of the store and to my car. I open the box. This pizza looked NOTHING like the menu. I'm talking night and day. It had a bunch of tomato slices on it, which if I had known it had all this tomato on it, I wouldn't have ordered it! To be quite honest, the only reason I was able to eat it was because I was on a 24 hour fast. Otherwise, I don't think I would've ever eaten this pizza. Completely felt betrayed and lied to based on their advertising. The menu picture needs to be more realistic because whatever I ate from there was NOT Italian-style. I wish I had something positive to say about the experience, but I genuinely don't. If anybody knows a genuine Italian-style pizza place around Lake Worth FL lemme know

Oceano, why oh why did I wait so long!?…read more I have been wanting to try Oceano since it was located in its former Lantana location. So when friends asked if I were interested in joining them for an art exhibit, followed by dinner at Oceano, I could not say YES fast enough. I am thrilled to say the wait was worth it. All the chips fell into place when after a small wait we were seated outside (what luck), found our waiter was from Croton-on-the-Hudson (had to wait a year before he was able to land a job at Oceano), and our food was paced perfectly. Started with the Grilled Cucumber Salad that included sumac-labneh, medjool date, berbere spice pickle, pistachio, and the Sugar snap Pea Salad of rhubarb, pecorino, stracciatella, mint, lemon, marcona almond. Next up, Pizza! Had to of course start with the Straight Shooter Pizza which was a simple pie of tomato, mozz, basil, pecorino, good olive oil. Pizza #2 was the Zuchinni Pizza, a white pie of hazelnut, lemon, asiago, mozz, parm, stacciatella. To round out the meal we had the Gnocci Sardi. This was an utterly delicious bowl of pasta that included duck confit, morels, peas, parm, creme fraiche, fines herbs, wild ramps. Super meal with smiles all around. There are two restaurants I feel are super deserving of a Michelin Star in my area, and Oceano is definitely one of them! Not super close to me, but I see a few summer nights at the bar with a salad, pizza, and glass of wine in my future.

Definitely my favorite pizza in Florida…read more As I mentioned before, I think that the pizza would really be accentuated by having a number of spicy olive oils with Calabrian hot peppers, because that would just make this the best dine in experience The only other issue I can say, is that the prices are a little high. It's interesting but there's always this sweet spot when it comes to takeout food. Is it better to cook at home or is it better to pick something up. In the old days when the meal was $10-$15, it was a pretty easy choice. These days you're looking at $25-$35 for a decent pizza. That's already at a price point where I might as well just go out for dinner with my girlfriend or whatever to a nicer restaurant. I'm not putting this on the gentleman who runs this spot. It's just a suggestion that perhaps hitting price points that are a little bit closer to Eastside pizza, which is also good, although not as good, would be a smart move. Also the delivery service they use ads on all sorts of fees, which really just makes it unpalatable unless you want to go pick it up yourself. Leastly, if they made themselves available on Uber eats and GrubHub, I actually already get $10 off of both of those because of AMEX. So I'm sure other people are in the same boat. That would mean more money for them and more pizza for me.
