This cozy spot is located in the Publix plaza off of Military and Le Chalet. The service was quick and easy with having menu options available on screen or at the order window. We ordered the cheese burgers, loaded fries and fritters which were all so tasty! Everything is completely vegan and such a good option if you're taking a break from meat. After having seen this restaurant pop up several times over the years, I finally stopped in to check it out for dinner. They had glowing reviews about so many dishes, and my experience tonight was no different. I settled on the jerk jackfruit meal, which came with callaloo, plantains, and rice and peas. My sister got the natuurlik jerk stew, which came with seitan and had the same sides. By looks alone, you would not know at first glance that this meal was meatless, as the seasonings do a great job camouflaging the substitute. Secondly, the flavors are outstanding! Honestly one of the best Caribbean restaurants I've tried in South Florida - meatless and all. Nothing was too salty or too bland, the plantains were just the perfect amount of ripeness, and the spice was just enough to leave a slow burn in my mouth but didn't overpower the meal. I anticipated that there would be so much food, I'd have to take it home to-go, but I enjoyed it so much that I didn't need the container after all. My sister really enjoyed her meal as well. The interior was welcoming with some soft reggae playing in the background. It was also very clean and fresh plants completed the decor. I placed my order with hostess who was very friendly.
