Let me say this is by far the most tastiest vegan food I've ever had! Ive tried this spot a few times before and couldn't resist making this review to brag on how awesome it is! You can conveniently place your order online and pickup with the option of curbside service. There is something for everyone on the menu. We ordered seems fishy sandwich, dope vegan burger, mixed fries (regular + sweet potato), fried mushrooms, and garlic butter cauliflower. We got full pretty fast, the portions are great. It was a typical busy Friday, the owner had complimentary popcorn and she tossed a free chocolate chip cookie in which was amazing also. Parking is a bit tricky it's about 3 or so spots on the side of where the food truck sits and some pretty tight street parking. I would recommend bringing a passenger so he or she could easily hop out to grab the food and the other person can move around or park as needed until then. It's so many items I have to try still including breakfast that's served on Saturdays only from 8am-11am. Wow, stopped by " Dope Vegan" today. At approximately 4:00pm 03/14/2025. I hade the " Dope Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich, with those Crispy French Fries ". It was a beautiful day, I ate on the patio. The food was seriously so good. I had such a hard time deciding what to get but was very satisfied with the DFC (dope fried chicken). I added the bacon and it was truly an unforgettable bite. I usually would prefer a burger but I saw it was a popular item so decided to give it a shot. I really enjoyed the meat on the fries as well - I believe it is the ground beef style meat. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their meal. Really hit the spot - Will be back! Also most importantly, we love to support a Black & Woman owned business! I love this vegan food truck. I have been there twice now. First off the food is absolutely delicious & amazing. I took my Dad with me the first time & he is not a vegan but is learning to appreciate vegan food as well. I have always gone during the week during the day so parking was easy. There are picnic tables to sit outside with an umbrella which I really loved. There is also a take out option as well. I love the fact that it is a female owned business & the food is really made with love. If you are looking for tasty vegan food that is a casual setting & not expensive, this is an excellent option. Finally in the area, I simply could not resist. There have been an inrush of vegan spots popping up in recent years. I've dabbled in a few in search of an occasional healthier option, never really walking away impressed. At the end of the day, flavor is what I seek out most, and most vegan meat options simply fall short. Until today that is.... The Dope burger is worthy of culinary praise! Not only is it a good vegan burger, it is a good well built burger period. Vegan cheese, lettuce, vegan bacon, caramelized onions, and dip sauce. The flavors simply all work well together. The greatest compliment I can give is the fact that I legitimately forgot I was eating a plant based burger. If there is one downside, somewhat, it's the price point. Like most vegan options, it is on the pricey side. Is it worth it? Definitely! But it does prohibit this from being a regular occurrence for fear of burning a whole in your wallet. They are healthy, the best taste and flavor and generously sized. Today, I had the chicken burger - outstanding. I am now torn between "the dope burger" and the dope chicken burger as to which is the front runner. The "Plain Jane" is great also. The gal was very helpful to introduce me to an option as I wasn't sure what to order. Her recommendation was spot on! I had to take my order to go each time-there are a few high top tables and chairs on the patio- The first day it was 30 minutes before I got to devour my sandwich. It was still warm and delicious! The sweet potato fries were perfectly seasoned and had great texture inside and out. Everything was well packaged in a paper carry out bag. Ambiance - Pretty awful. In this hot Florida sun, you need your shade and the dining set up is directly under the sun with barely a smidge of shade. The chairs are those bar-level chairs so not too friendly for vertically challenged people. The music was way too loud and the place just seemed kinda dingy and run down. Needs some TLC. Also, it did take quite some time for the food to come out. The burger was super soggy but the egg rolls and fries were delicious. We wanted to give Dope Vegan a try, excited to find another vegan place! Upon arrival we found out that it's a food truck which sits next to a busy road, and the food truck next to it has a very loud generator going all the time. As we were hungry we decided to try it anyway. The person behind the counter was very nice and she told us it would be a little bit of a wait. The wait turned out to be twice as long as what she had said, and by that time I had a serious headache from the generator noise. So despite the nice seating area, we took our food and parked our car a few hundred yards away from the road, on a dead end street. The food was delicious and I couldn't even finish it. I order from Dope Vegan weekly for my wife (vegan) and myself (not-vegan). I am usually willing to try most plant-based alternatives, so when I found this place on google it sounded perfect. The food truck they serve from is absolutely adorable; located right across from the airport and has an outdoor seating area with music and umbrellas so you don't roast in the heat. The owners (I presume?) are super friendly and accommodated any extra requests I had made. They always answer the phone with a pleasant and professional tone when I place my order.
