I thought their pizza was amazing. It's just what I like, a hand tossed crispy yet still chewy cracker crust and so many great options! I had the prosciutto and burrata. So so good. You order a bit like at a chipotle where you stand and someone takes your order and begins your pizza. Note they do have gluten free options for crust! There were two staff directly in front of us as we stood waiting to order. Neither of them greeted us or asked to take our order and were engaged in friendly conversation with each other while we stood there. That was weird. Finally someone else came to help us and she was friendly and efficient. They had some good beer and cider options we tried too, but I might have been happier at the Coke Freestyle machine...I just love using those things! Seating was acceptable not comfortable. The tables were very close together and it was a battle to get out once someone sat behind you and pulled their chair out. It also seemed like the pizza took too long to come out, but it was Friday night and there was a ton of takeout orders so perhaps you don't get priority if you are waiting to dine in. I wouldn't go back for dine in, but I would order pickup for sure! The pizza was yummy!
Love getting to make my own pizza! Has great taste, and a lot of pizza options to choose from! Service is consistent, as it is a BYO bar, and it only takes a few minutes to fire the pizzas. The ambiance is casual, there is a soda machine, and outdoor seating
Great 2 for 1 on the cheese pizza and garlic bread on uber eats! The Slim Shady mac and cheese pizza has been my favorite for years and this was a great revisit on an old favorite! The crust is definitely crispy if that's your thing! Best mac and cheese pizza by far. The garlic bread and regular cheese pizza were first time tries for me and they didn't disappoint either!
Fun and friendly. I always get take out. The pizza "Like a Virgin ". Cheese. Cooked the way pizza should be. Nice crust. Leaves a pleasant aftertaste. Has me looking for more. Build your own salad is a great choice too. My wife loves the fresh choices and combinations. I recommend both choices. Fun place to see.
First time trying out PizzaRox and I gotta say they started out weak! Walked in to a "full" resraurant. Seats full of customers, restaurant full of noise due to a total lack of any sound dampening furnishings, a floor full of trash, and a counter full of employees but only half of them were working? We stood there for almost 5 minutes while one girl stretched dough while talking to another who was just standing, but neither said hi, be with you in a second, or otherwise acknowledged us... Strike 1. We finally ordered our pizzas, but the ciders we ordered with dinner were 'not cold yet' and 'we just ran out of that one. Seems like Friday night would be the best time to make sure you're stocked up... Strike 2. Finally! Time to eat. Both of our pizzas were super yummy, my only issues was really that somehow even with a very thin crust, the bottom of my pie's crust was cooked all the way though but somehow pale white and not crispy at all... Strike 3. Let's not forget what was possibly the singularly most uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in.
Today I was craving pizza and I thought I try a new first for me Pizza Rox this a pizza business inside a plaza of different drs offices and restaurants. The outside with all the balloons red and black grab my attention.. As I walked in I was greeted this was when the first opened up the doors for business today ...on the wall behind the counter there were a list of pizza's how they were made they make and desserts too . I ordered the white wedding pizza and the meat lovers thin crust on both , but the gentleman who was making them said they were out of toppings so I did pivot around what they had .. The fresh ingredients and flavors on both pizza was delicious.The crust was light not doughy.. The sauce had like a smoked flavors .. taste to it , Duffy ,but I liked it... you can watch your pizza being made to being put in a huge pizza old fashioned oven & the dessert I ordered a cheesecake cannoli style it came out on a flatbread with bananas and powder sugar and chocolate syrup.. and Nutella on top with cannoli cream ..I didn't like it the flavors were off .. Very clean restaurant and was very quiet for now they just opened up .Very trendy pizza place .
This was my first time here after being told how delicious the food is. I must echo the sentiment of others...the customer service is just . The set up is similar to that of MOD pizza (if you know what that is). What I didn't like was that I didn't know what size you could order the pizza in. The menu was high above with white writing and black background. Difficult to read especially with so many words. Not one hello. Just asking me what I want. No explanation of choices available for sauce or toppings. The food was very good. The decor is typical but nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. I would review the menu before going in if you've never been since nobody there is going to help you understand. I'd go back but I need to study ahead of time.
BEST gf pizza, BY FAR!! Hand tossed gf crust made right in front of your eyes, (NOT frozen) made FRESH & sooooo delicious! Super fresh delicious toppings. You will NOT be disappointed!! Only downside is you'll be spoiled and all other gf pizza won't measure up. If you haven tried them you are missing out!
Used to get pizza from here regularly and tonight was supposed to be a special treat for my daughter and I. This was a create your own pue with roasted mushrooms, garlic and broccoli. there was hardly ANY cheese and broccoli pieces were very tiny and burnt. I will not be ordering here anymore
First we luv pizza rox but something has changed? from the rewards program which isnt that rewarding, to the new staff and the insane prices what's happening here? I can see this will curb the regulars patronage, 2 pizzas small salad and a brownie $$$$
I've been to the competition and being that I like the concept, I had high hopes to see them outdone. It didn't quite go like that. The red sauce was very good but they limit the toppings to 4 where the other place doesn't have this limit. The people were very nice and at the register we were told the owners wife make the brownies and that they are fudgy.... just what I like. You know we had to find out. They were right. Gave this spot a go because they had a vegan pizza. So glad we did! My wife ordered the vegan pie while I got the buffalo chicken selection and the wings well done. All 3 items were amazing! Wings cooked just how I like them, with some char! We will be back for sure! read more

Honestly, I go to this place pretty frequently for pizza. But I think that's more to do with convenience in location than quality. I think, for what it is, this place is successful and makes a pretty good pie. Yes, the names are a bit kitschy (the "hot for teacher" pie is hot soppressata and jalepeno with honey drizzle) but the pizza good enough and cheap enough to make me come back for more. I love the variety in specialty pies, and even the personal pizza style serving size. This place has good deals ($2 beers during happy hour), and a really sweet staff; the manager always makes it a point to ask how you are. My recommendations: the hot for teacher, arugula and spinach, eggplant parmigiana, and veggie pie. All are very tasty. But, when in doubt just create your own. My one qualm with this pizza is that there is never enough sauce on the pizza, for my taste anyway. I don't think it's necessary for the pizza to be swimming in sauce, but I definitely don't like dry pizza. I've had to request extra sauce twice before, and both times the sauce was cold. Other than that, the pizza is very good. Basically, and this may be controversial, I think this place is the better Blaze Pizza. It's not out of this world good, but good for what it is. And on most Friday nights, when I'm really craving cheesy, crusty bread and a cold craft beer, this place hits the spot and then some. read more
Mediocre at best. It looks promising but it's really nothing special. The place itself is cool and set up nicely and they offer different deals each day of the week including brunch on Sunday's but the pizza is very bland. I got the Margherita "I wanna rox" pizza because I always figure that's a safe choice but unfortunately I didn't really like it. It had almost no flavor and not to mention, barely any basil on top. Perhaps their other pizza options are better but if I had to base my decision on their margherita pizza I would say the place is below average. You get to create your own pizza too for $8.99. The size of the pizza is small (4 slices) but I was okay with that because you don't end up feeling like you over ate. It was however $9 for 4 slices which is a little overpriced considering how small the slices actually are. I don't think I'll be going back. read more

My first time coming here with my kids... Five stars all the way. The employees are funny and cool. Cool place will be coming back. Love the smiles since you walk through the doors. My kids loved there pizza my daughter had the real slim shady, my son had the super freak. Love the names. Best pizza spot in Boynton.... Such a cool concept! Pizza Rox has an amazing, helpful and friendly staff. The dough is made fresh as well as all the other ingredients! You can make your own or pick from the speciality pizzas! My favorite pizza was the vegetarian, "I melt with you." It had Alfredo sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, spinach and crushed red tomatoes. Even non-vegetarians rejoice with such fresh ingredients, and a crispy yet doughy, soft crust! There is also a great selection of dessert pies and locally crafted beer. We were also informed that concepts came from traveling and collaboration with a chef! How cool?! Pizza Rox's design and decor is really fun and clean with a theme of old school music. We have been looking for a good pizza place near our house and we finally found one thanks to Yelp! I'm typically a plain cheese pizza guy but every pizza we have tried at Pizza Rox has been delicious. My favorites are the Californication and the white veggie pizza. They also have dessert pizzas that are crazy good. We usually go with the signature pizzas, but you can also build your own. I think it's $8 with basic toppings and then extra for some of the premium toppings. In addition to the pizza they have a great selection of craft beers and on Friday you can get them for $2 all night which is very nice. The service is always quick, although I have some issues with the process which I will go into later. Prices are on the higher side although not totally crazy and all the ingredients are suppose to be organic non gmo etc. My only issue with Pizza Rox is the whole ordering process. When we walk up to the counter we are usually confronted by a perplexed pizza maker. Sometimes they ask for our order, sometimes they just kinda stand there making pizza. Sometimes one will take your order for one pizza but then goes off to make it and someone else come by and takes the next pizza and it's all rather confusing. IMO there should be a dedicated order taker at the front. Also when I get a beer sometimes I want a second one. However I then have to go back to the register (which is at the end of the line) and sometimes there is a line so you have to wait in line or kinda cut in to order the beer and it's just kind of weird. However that's a minor issue to deal with to get some really good pizza. If they fix the process and the prices were a bit better it would definitely be a 5 star place! read more

Pretty darn good, every time. I usually write a lot but no lengthy review necessary. I loved the "I Wanna Rox," and you can't go wrong with "Californiacation." Delivery was timely and everything was hot and delicious. I get extra cheese on everything, but you really don't need to. Great in a dinner pinch. read more

Excellent music, great staff and very good pizza. They have a tremendous variety of pizza toppings enabling you to customize your pizza to your liking - including vegan cheese and/gluten-free. It's a bit confusing when you first come to this restaurant, but like many fast casual/customize your meal restaurants, it's pretty simple. A nearly endless number of beverage options. It seemed like an eternity for Pizza Rox to finally open. I was pretty happy to have another option nearby for a quick lunch. You walk into a large and brightly lit space. The atmosphere is more of an industrial look. Once you walk in you will order directly to the left. I say this because as other have mentioned it can be confusing on where to order on your first visit. Their big thing here is that the ingredients are apparently organic. I've tried a few of their pizzas. On my first visit I built my own pie. I definitely suffered from sticker shock when I learned that the total was over $20. This was my fault for not noticing the fine print on the menu in regards to the pricing per topping. I made sure not to make that same mistake on my future visits. I wasn't impressed on my first visit, as I found the pie to be quite bland. I had the "I wanna Rox pie" which is their version of a margherita. Like my first visit I found that it was boring and didn't offer much flavor. I'm thinking that this is because they use Organic ingredients? On my last couple of visits I had the Californiacation pie. It consists of Prosciutto Di Parma, argula and Parmigiano Reggiano for toppings. They also use San Marzano tomatoes here. Although I'm not sure if they're the DOP ones. This has been my favorite pie here thus far. I give them props for slicing the Prosciutto fresh. Service and friendliness have been inconsistent on my experiences. Sometimes everyone is super friendly and other times they're not friendly at all. As far as the service piece goes, sometimes they're slow or quick moving you through the line. They do serve Panther coffee which is great. So no need to go to the nearby Starbucks for an espresso fix anymore. I will continue to come back, however, it will be when I'm short on time for lunch and am in need of the convenience factor above all. read more

Great spot! We were driving around looking for a place to grab lunch and I pointed it out since we had never been before. Right before we walked in, I remarked that there was a spot in Boca where you make your own pizza and they fire it right there and that we need to scope that spot out. We walked into pizzarox and that's exactly what they do! You can pick one of their signature pizzas or build your own. They are personal size, but honestly I could have shared. I ended up bringing half of it home! It's kind of a chipotle for pizza if you will. Greg F. got the hotline bling and I built my own. His had sausage, pesto, tomatoes and spinach. It looked really good but he said his was bland and that mine was better. For the build your own, you pick a sauce, pick a cheese and then pick 4 toppings. I got red sauce, shredded mozzarella, bacon, sausage, sautéed mushrooms, and artichokes. They put the pizzas in a super hot oven and they are ready in just a few minutes. If I build a pizza again, I'll skip the bacon. It was just tiny little bacon bits, like you'd sprinkle on a salad so you really couldn't taste it on the pizza. It felt like a waste of a topping, I wish they had bigger chunks of bacon. Everything else though was superb. They carry local craft beers too, so we of course had a couple. The servers/pizza makers were all very friendly. If suggest looking up their menu online so you don't have to stand there staring at their screens trying to read the font. I hate when menus are on a tv and they switch pages. We sat down and I looked up there and it was showing pizzas I didn't see on the screen while I was in line... Just give me a paper menu so I can see it all at once and not have to wait for the screen to change to see all the types of pizza. Overall, I liked it! I'd certainly go back and build my own pizza. They also play great music there, alternative and rock. read more

We had already been to two breweries and just wanted a quick bite before going to our next stop so three of us shared their bbq chicken pizza. It was really good with a nice tangy bbq sauce. They had a nice selection of their own creations or you can personalize your own. Really quick service and friendly staff. A good selection of craft beers too. What Publix has done for build-your-own subs and various and sundry greens locations have done for build-your-own salad, Pizza Rox has done for pizza. Yes, most places allow you to put whatever you want on a pizza, but this location does it in front of you so that you can not only watch the process, but add, subtract and proportion items to your ultimate liking! I'm not saying that I had the pizza crafter do layers of cheese, then pepperoni, then more cheese, and then more pepperoni... But if I were to say that, it would be totally true. I got crispy pepperoni on top, soft pepperoni underneath, and more cheese than you can shake a stick at. Which, let's face it, is basically the entire purpose of pizza...A cheese delivery system! The other nice thing about Pizza Rox is that the pizza are personal-sized, so you don't have to try to divvy up your toppings with others. Selfish? Perhaps. Delicious? Absolutely! read more

Lunch time on A Saturday. Not too busy when we got there around 1:45 pm, but that was not to last. Within 20 minutes, there was a nice line. A very cool build-your-own pizza concept, much like Chipotle with burritos. Choose everything yourself or pick a signature pre-built. My wife built her own, while the two boys and I got pre-builts. The staff was excellent. Very attentive and knowledgeable. The toppings were fresh and visually appealing. Excellent cost vs serving...you get a nice sized pizza for your money. Enough that we pretty much brought home 1 1/2 pizzas. The speed of delivery to the table was surprising. I don't think it was even 8 minutes before we were eating crisp and hot pizza. Well cooked and extremely flavorful. Beverage bonus: $1 draft during lunch time (12-5), and an excellent selection of local brews (there are others, but really...drink like a local!)...the best of Due South and Copperpoint, with Funky Buddha in bottles. Beverage negative: no unsweetened iced tea, although they said they're working on it. Great service, great food, great selection of your in the mood for pizza. A few salad options, but pizza is really the niche. 100% recommend and will definitely return. read more

The white wedding was really good. You only need a small piece to be satisfied. Sorry my bananas are brown in my photos but it has been sitting out for a little. I want to come back to try their pizza though... I just didn't get any because I live far and the pizza would be cold by the time I got home.
