Let me start by saying - I LOVE THEIR PIZZA. The problem is they don't care about the customer experience at all. I've never eaten in the restaurant. I've only ever ordered delivery. They do not fulfill the delivery, DoorDash does. I order through google when I order. It always takes 60-90 minutes to get my order. It's worth it - when it arrives. Twice now, I received the wrong order and was never given refunds. This last incident, I carefully checked my order and stopped the driver before he left. I returned the food I did not order and he sat in my driveway for 20 minutes calling DoorDash for advice. He then directed me to call the merchant for a refund. PIZZA ROX DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE (even their VM says it), or their emails or their direct from website messages. So just know, if you don't receive what you ordered, tough sh!*t. Your not getting a refund. So, like I said - pizza rox doesn't care about your experience. They only want your money. Good pizza sh!*tty service. Pizza Rox has some signature pies or a build-your-own option, which seems to be on trend. I like the variety of signature pies, as they're a bit different from your average. I got the "Hot for Teacher," an obvious choice for me, a teacher with a penchant for spicy foods. It was topped with spicy sopressata, mozz, jalapeño, and mike's hot honey. Delicious every time! The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. They just started new weekly specials, and usually have one to three new combinations besides the regular menu items. Now they even have sandwiches made with their pizza crust which adds that lil extra something and texture to the overall taste of their always fresh ingredients. Fancy a beer or wine with your pizza? Well they have that too! Dessert options are plentiful too, I'm just usually too full. Ordered a custom made pizza with a base price of 9.95 and my pizza was $22 by the time I was done customizing. Not upset at the price, just upset that I didn't get what I paid for. I paid $4.00 for 4x pepperoni and $2.00 for feta. The feta was nonexistent and the pepperoni was of the amount you'd get for free (see photo). Went here to pick up some pizzas last week, when I was visiting my family in Florida. With our recent order: they missed 1 of the 6 pizzas, so we had to wait a bit until they made a new one, but they made things right, by giving us a coupon for a free pizza. the pizza was actually very good. probably top 10 pizzas I have ever had in America (and thats coming from a 100% Italian guy). Good personal size pizzas. The atmosphere is a bit like a sports bar. Tvs with sports on and loud music. Takeout is not their strong suit though. Every time I've called ahead I've always waited 10-15 minutes for the food when I arrive. Additionally it seems like the pizzas are fairly inconsistent when I order the same thing. Sometimes really good and other times missing toppings or too much/not enough sauce. The atmosphere is very comfortable and causal for a lunch with friends or by yourself. Plenty of seating. Pizza Rox was my favorite Pizza in Boynton Beach.....until yesterday!! Their pizza is so delicious and fresh but what I saw last night turned me off. I always order spinach and mushrooms on my pizza with cheese and sauce. Last night I ordered my husband's pizza and he gets meat on his. I watched the preparer put her gloved hands in the salami then the chicken then the spinach and then the mushrooms all with the same gloved hand. And that is when I realized the toppings are mixed and sadly I will not be eating there again.....unless there are spoons or scoops in each topping so there is no mixing of each into the other. The pizza is good, but the customer service is beyond terrible. I got there at 8, a full hour before they close, and the staff clearly thought that was too close to when they're supposed to go home for them to have any sort of manners or decency. While I can almost understand this from the teenagers that seemed to be running the place, I was much more disappointed when the older man (seemingly the owner or manger) with the ridiculous looking Mohawk was equally as rude to us. As often as I come here, I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. Okay...so, yes it's pizza. Yes you can get pizza anywhere. But wait! This isn't your everyday pizza spot. They have some amazing gourmet pizza choices that go beyond simple pepperoni and cheese. My personal favorite is the Californication, which is arugula and prosciutto with your choice of sauce (pesto, or red sauce) and mozzarella cheese. It's addictively good. Whether you like more exotic toppings like pineapple on your pizza (which is gross, btw, lol!) or you prefer the more standard fare of pepperoni and cheese, it all tastes great. I like the added touch of the brick oven, which I think takes the crust to the next level. And if you are gluten free, they have that option as well. I can see how someone can eat a whole pizza by themselves but being not a huge eater, we shared with three people, 1 slice each and someone got to eat 2. They cut the pizza in 4 big slices. Chipotle and Burger King had a baby = Pizza Rox. It is Chipotle like in the ordering process and like bk, you get it your way. You choose the dough, then the sauce, then the cheese, then the toppings, then the drizzles. Pay, get a table tent number thingy, and sit a spell. They bring your pizza to you. Its Good pizza too. all pizzas are personal size and range $6-$13. Got dessert pizzas too $5-7. Gets busy but It was a Friday night. Soooo ‍. Parking was a chore so be ready for that. Worth the wait though. Everyone was happy because everyone gets their own pizza. I suppose you could share but no need this is 'Merica! The "kids" making the pizza were so slow and incompetent and when it was pointed out to them they whispered to each other how we were the jerks. So far I love this place. Upon entering it is similar to Blaze but pizza is not a burnt mess. I ordered the Margherita. Pizza crust was fully cooked but not burnt. Almost like the pizza you would get in the frank area of Italy but thicker here and not the music. They add the basil after cooking . Kids got order your own and they liked it. So I was curious to try the pizza here, but being from NY, I am very picky about my pizza. The place is similar to many of the create your own spots that have been popping up, for example Blaze. I got a pie with sopressata and pineapple with hot honey drizzle after being baked. They were extremely busy last night so I was waiting a bit for it to come out. I get my pie and either they barely put any honey on it or they forgot. I waved down the guy who brought it to my table and he said he'd fix it. So came back and definitely was on it. The honey was not really hot, nor did it even have a bite tbh. I wasn't fond of the pizza overall really, the sauce had zero flavor and the cheese comes right off the pizza before you can even bite it. I can see why the place is popular but I don't know if I will try it again. Service was good but they need to add more tables somewhere. read more

Thankfully there was not much of a line, but even then, they're very quick to take our order. Everyone on staff was very attentive. Loved that they had quirky T-shirts! From the very entrance I was greeted and quickly was asked for my order.. since the pie is made to order, one has to wait for it to be fired up in their magical oven..! But so worth the wait, cause what comes out is a pie with a spell on it~ the one I ordered was the Veggie Pie- "I melt with you", with added mushrooms, it also had sundries tomatoes, fresh basil, and a white sauce base (I requested light on the sauce) It was a sizeable amount, but it was so good (and it was cheat day!) that I couldn't fathom not gobbling it up...! Love to eat here- but only when eating IN the restaurant. Had the WORST takeout experience. I ordered online and got there about five minutes before it said the pick up time was. I checked in with the front counter and let them know I was there and the girl looked really confused. She then told me to wait, well I ended up waiting 40 minutes for my pizza. The owner ( I presume) went out of his way to be sure my gluten free medical needs were met although I had to ask for gloves to be changed and to make my pizza on a different surface which they GLaDLY did! The man making the gluten free pizza worked on each one like an art form. So nice to see how much he cares. Give yourself extra time from the time to arrive to the time you actually eat because it does take some time to create your pizza and cook it. We all found our pizzas to be really good. Alright look, it doesn't take much for me to be impressed by pizza places. As many cuisines as I've tried, it is my favorite food on the planet, and I don't think that will ever change. Pizza is just damn good, and feels satisfying at any juncture. Thinking back on all the pizza eaten throughout my life, I can honestly count on only one hand how many times I've had "bad" pizza. Not much. Love it too much. With all that being said, I know how to distinguish an average from a damn good slice, and Pizza Rox is upper echelon for affordable personal pies. I love the style of ordering, as you can see the pizza being created from dough to topping in an assembly line fashion almost. The ingredients are top notch too. I ordered Margherita, (which I order every where I go), and the cheese, olive oil and basil were extremely tasteful and evident in the flavor. Very high quality. The menu also has dessert pizza, which I MUST try next time. I saw one with raspberry that sounded very interesting. Their beer selection is solid too, with over 5 local Florida brews on tap, and a diverse bottle/can selection, also local. I really like this place, and they have a nice, creative menu with fun names for their pies. You can also build your own pie for $9, which was around the same price as many of the ready-created selections. A+++ read more

So this was my first time here. Hmm, well when I first started the experience it wasn't going so well. I didn't think the girl making my pizzas was very friendly, and couldn't hear what she was saying through the glass. I ordered a build your own. My daughter ordered the Valley Girl. Both were very good but..... I wanted fresh mozzarella and also roasted garlic which is extra. I don't mind paying extra but seriously I paid $1.00 for each and got 3 balls of mozzarella(tore in pieces) and 4 chunks of garlic. I don't mind paying extra but give me my moneys worth. Anyway.... after all that we got our pizza and I must say it was delicious. Maybe not worth $10.00 after I had to pay the extra but it was good. I had a BOGO so it was worth it for sure.
