The team was patient and helpful, not rushing me to order. One thing that really caught my eye it was the freshness of the ingredients. You can see them Adding the toppings as you move along the line. Also so you know the amount of toppings each pizza had is very well balanced. Pizza: You can select from their signature pizzas or build your own. The crust! Oh my! I could eat it by itself! It was thin and well done. The "Hotline Bling" is a must try. What could you improve? Well, less cockroaches in the pizza next time would be a start. What a horrifying dinner experience. I have to say, I was skeptical but wow was it delicious. The wings were so good, the pizza had very good and fresh ingredients and the staff was very nice. I got "Staceys mom" and it was so good! It's so big, I'll have meals for days. We tried both kids of wings and they were equally delicious. When I saw that this pizza joint was on the list for 2018 Yelp Restaurant Week, I made it a must to come. I have been before for an event and ordered something to go another time. We ordered our pies, sat at a table inside, and ate some damn good pizza with friendly and quick service. The three signature pies we went for were Like a Virgin, Super Freak BBQ Chicken, and White Wedding. These creative and fun names suit each one perfectly and were delicious. The Like a Virgin had hand crushed tomatoes along with mozzarella cheese for the toppings. It was simple and our kids loved it. My husband and I got the BBQ chicken pizza and it was loaded with cheddar cheese, chicken breast pieces, cilantro, and BBQ sauce. They put red onions on half of the pie for him to enjoy since I was fine without them. It's super freaky and amazingly good each and every bite. The White Wedding pie is one of my favorite menu items here. The dough is rolled into a log and stuffed with cannoli cream topped with organic bananas and strawberries along with powdered sugar and nutella. It definitely cured our pizza fix for the day. For those that don't know what the YRW is, it's a week long offer that pops up when you check into a place on the app that is on the list off of any menu items excluding alcohol. The list is found online and it consists of various restaurants from Palm Beach Gardens all the way to Miami. Rude and incompetent. Not customer or take out friendly and the website SUCKS. Adding 1 topping made the price of the pizza go up $5? On a personal sized pizza? No thanks. Also to the "girls" (young women) working, there is not 1 establishment I can think of, other than hooters, where shorts that short are permitted. They should not be wearing shorts that have their butt out and working behind the counter. Didn't even get greeted when I walked in, but said girls nearly jumped over the counter when they saw someone they knew from the parking lot. After leaving First Watch which is a few doors down hungry, we went into Pizza Rox. The first thing that assaulted our senses was the DELICIOUS aroma. It's a restaurant that makes personal pizzas to order. I had 1/2 Purple Rain which had eggplant cutlets, ricotta cheese & San Marzano tomatoes & 1/2 Hotline Bling, mozzarella,sweet sausage, meatballs, roasted tomatoes, garlic & spinach! The girl asking to put your toppings on the pizza ignored me & took the order of 5 other people that came in several minutes after I had been standing there waiting. I had driven past this place a few times before I ended up attending a Yelp event here. From then on, I have been a fan of their establishment and their pizza, which are quite tasty. I have been fortunate to sample many of their pizzas such as their Valley Girl with pesto chicken, their Super Freak BBQ chicken, the Hot For Teacher with sopressata, jalapenos, and hot honey, as well as their Californication with prosciutto and arugala. I have built my own, depending on my mood, with bacon... because bacon, alfredo, chicken and other delights. And I'm always a sucker for their White Wedding pizza with cannoli cream, strawberries, bananas, and nutella. It's like a cannoli pizza but better. BETTER! Quite orgasmic. Our favorite pizza in Boynton Beach for a reason. They make Naples style pizza here with a thin crust in a wood-fired oven using super fresh, high quality ingredients. The dough has the perfect amount of chewiness and a slight char on the bottom. They always have interesting pizzas like one topped with pork belly and peaches and even a mac and cheese pizza if you're into that. But we are pretty much purists and only get a pizza with the occasional meatball or pepperoni topping. They also have wings, salads and dessert pizzas, plus craft beer and a fun fountain soda machine where you can have a variety of flavor combinations. On Wednesdays kids eat free. Thankfully they survived Covid, so looking forward to continued good times at one of the best pizza joints in South Florida, bar none! read more

I ordered the Californication Prosciutto and Arugula Pizza - San marzano hand-crushed tomato sauce, fior di latte, prosciutto, arugula, extra virgin olive oil and shaved Parmesan cheese. They put a lot of toppings on the pizza, but it was a bit on the dry side for me. There is a lot of dough, and I ended up with a lot of crust in the end. But I like the creativity of the toppings, and the prosciutto was very good, I just wished there was more on my pizza. It's really loud inside the restaurant, and the staff had a lot of trouble hearing our order and instructions. The girl who was making our pizzas just seemed confused the whole time, which was frustrating. Throughout the week, Pizza Rox hosts a different special each day. Wednesdays is kids eat free, so maybe that's why service this day was particularly slow. I came here with my friend, and we had planned to grab a quick pizza and go to Boomers with her son after. However, from standing in line, to ordering, and finally getting our pizza, we waited 45 minutes to get our pizzas before eating. I'm emailing to inform the management of Pizza Rox in regards to our unsatisfied service done at 6:45pm for takeout. My partner waited longer than expected as others received their orders. An employee wasn't pleasant with us. On top of that, our order was incorrect. We ordered 8 slices and only got 4. We ordered bacon on our pizza, and it wasn't on there. We also ordered certain toppings on half of the pizza because my partner is allergic to it, and it was on the whole pizza. Pizza rox is a great pizza spot in Boynton Beach. It is actually located on congress avenue and gateway blvd. The basic concept of Pizza Rox is that you pick your own ingredients and they have your pizza ready in a few minutes. They have a huge coal oven and the pizza comes out hot and crispy. We were introduced to Pizza Rox when we attended a yelp event there and we have been going back there since than. That plaza is usually very busy because it houses a couple of other favorites including bonefish so you have to plan accordingly. Saturday night we decided to take the trip to Boynton Beach (from Wellington) to pick up Pizzarox. Halfway there we called to place our order so that it was ready by the time we were there. The unwelcoming man who answered the phone stated that they don't take orders over the phone any more and that I would have to go order through their website. After selecting all the orders online (which was extremely annoying), I noticed I wasn't able to use our free pizza card for one of the pizzas because you have to pay upfront. So I called back. The same man answered the phone. I mentioned how I wasn't able to use the card. He had me describe the free pizza card to him and as soon as I said the card had whole punches he told me "they don't use these cards anymore, so I can't use it".....I found this completely ridiculous because this wasn't just a free pizza card.. It was a card I earned because of all the orders we have placed there. The man persisted to be a jerk and state that they haven't used these cards in 4 years... (which is an absolute lie.) I have not had this card for 4 years.... even if I did (which I know I didn't), it didn't have an expiration date on it anyway. This man's extremely rude demeanor lead me to ask for a manager. The man stated how he was the manager (Glenn) and that if I had a valid free pizza card I was welcome to come in and wait in line to see if it will be accepted or not. RUDE. The location looked cool and the menu looked promising. My girlfriend went with the "Stacy's mom pizza" and I opted for the classic margarita. The bill came to about $30 since both were about $14 plus tax for a personal sized pizza. The pizzas were brought to our table about 15 minutes later. I was told they didn't have any Parmesan in the back for my margarita pizza but I could use some of the packets on the table. Strike 1. We were both hungry and decided to start eating. I took one bite and the pizza was ice cold. The crust was cold, the sauce was cold... not sure how what was even possible. My girlfriends pizza was also cold. Strike 2. We took the pizzas back to the counter and they just offered to put the pizzas back in the oven. At the time an attendant came out and let us know that "Stacey's mom" pizza is supposed to be cold. I pointed out that the toppings might be cold but that doesn't explain why the crust and sauce were cold. Also a margarita pizza isn't supposed to be cold so no explanation on that. No offer to remake the pizzas but just to heat them up. At this point we asked for a refund since we paid for freshly made HOT pizza and not for reheated pizzas. The staff has absolutely no sense of urgency and had little to no work ethic at all. They almost seemed to be bothered to be there at all. My GF wanted to to go there because she had been there previously. She noted the staff had been different and the service was 100% better. We have been coming here for years def a little gem of Boynton they have both regular and dessert pizza. There's also calzones and other non pizza options but we LOVEEEEEE the gluten free pizza . It takes awhile for the gf pizza to be ready because they cook it solo for limited cross contamination so my advice come earlier than when you're hungry or pre order. The staff most of them have been there for years they're nice and always happy to see them. If the owner is the same he's a hardworking guy and always in the office doing work but we have met him quickly. Compared to other pizza spots with the same concept, Pizza Rox caps you to 4 toppings in this price bundle. You can customize the crust, sauce and toppings. The pizza itself was small as the crust took up a good amount of the pie. Due to the small size of each slice, I didn't quite enjoy it as I thought I would. I personally like larger slices. I also thought the drinks were more so on the pricey end. I ordered a soda and was charged $2.60 for a small cup. They have a fountain machine for free refills. I also ordered a build your own shake for my son, M&M's vanilla shake. It came in the same small size cup, and it was $5!
