Well, I can safely say that Tony's Pizzeria has ended my search in Central Texas! I first heard about Tony's through Yelp's recommendation, and my wife and I decided to give it a try. Located in west Killeen, Tony's is easy to reach with a simple turn off of Elm's road. It is within a plaza, and the sign simply reads: PIZZA. Hours are located on the door, and you can find the name "Tony's" plastered on the windows. I walked in, and the slightly hazed interior with employees that gazed at me with the intensity of a NY stare let me know I made an excellent choice. I was welcomed in, and my food was ready upon entry. They thanked me for being a customer, and hoped to see me again. We got the meat lover's 16" pizza, and it was amazing! The flavor was rich, the meat was not overpowering the cheese to sauce ratio, and the crust was so flaky and sweet it felt as if a caring mother made it. My wife and I remarked to one another about the great flavor, and were excited about making this our pizza spot. Thank you Tony's for a top tier pie, and an unforgettable experience!

Their crust is great and the pizza has a nice crunch. This time I tried the zayis pizza. It's ok. Me personally am not a fan of canned mushrooms. So had to pull all those off. The steak added was ok too. Not much flavor to the steak though. I'd still go back since the first experience was great. I'll definitely stick to traditional toppings though.

Lots of items on the menu, order at the counter, get a number to display on the table, and the food comes out quickly. Not super fancy on the drinks and dinnerware, but it's not that type of place. Great value for what you pay, and you get more than enough for a lunch, even with only one slice.

Nice arrangement in the dining room, counter top, booths and tables. Plenty of people are coming and going so the place is popular and going well Wishing you guys the best.

The owner gave us a couple of free bagels to try. Well we have tried them and anytime we are over there we are getting more. Nice place good vibes well spaced out. I do wish they opened a little earlier than 5:00. Sometimes we're trying to get pizza and get home to start the movie around that time, so the timing can be a little tricky. But I can't complain about the food or the service. Both have always been good. They change up the menu occasionally, and we really like the BBQ pizza and cheese sticks. One thing I especially appreciate is that they offer gluten-free pizza and actually ask whether you're ordering it because of an intolerance or just a preference. It's a small detail, but a good one. It is a food truck, so when they get backed up, expect to wait a little while. But the pizza is good, wood-fired, and worth the wait. If you're hanging out at Barrow, it's also a great spot to grab some cheese sticks or a pretzel to go with your beer while you sit outside under the pavilion. Good local pizza spot that we'll continue keeping in the family movie-night rotation.

We asked for menus and went and set down. We looked over the menu and decided what we were going to have. After waiting a while longer we finally asked if we needed to come up front and order or will they come to the table and take our order. She informed us that we had to order up front so we did! She took our order and we paid and went and had a set at a table. The table hadn't even been cleaned. We took napkins and wiped it off. We were trying to figure out what to do when we got our order. We didn't know if we had to go pick it up or would they bring it to us. We did self serve at the water fountain. We ordered; Large SPECIALITY pizza (Supreme) 10 wings Fried Mushrooms Fried Parmesan Zucchini They brought our appetizers out to us, the Mushrooms and Zucchini. They were OK, served hot and with ranch dressing. As I said, they were OK, nothing Special. The wings were hot and crispy, we did the Garlic Butter ones. Didn't see any sauce on the wings. They were very dry. The pizza looked promising. It was the Supreme. It had nice amount of toppings on it. That was about it. It really had no taste. I put ranch and Parmesan cheese on a piece and ate about half the slice. Again, looked good but had no taste. All I tasted was the cheese and Ranch! No one came and asked us if we needed anything or how things were. It's like we alone in the restaurant. No customer service at all. I was really shocked at the overall experience! We thought we would give it a try so we did. Different people have different taste and it was a miss for us today! But hay, we all have good days and bad days. Today just wasn't a good day for us today. Because and check it out for yourself. You never know! Could be a good day for you. I don't need to go back.
