We got delivery and it was very quick and the food was super hot. I got the penne chicken pasta and they definitely did not skimp on the penne! Very yummy. My boyfriend got a calzone and it was HUGE! Great value for the money and the delivery man was very polite. read more

Horrible management first the driver arrives with completely wrong order and poor little old man goes and comes back with our order and one of the pizza still wrong he calls the manager who then argues with me stating it is right NO I'm.sorry no nothing the poor delivery man felt bad but the manager didn't care to correct their error. I went to this place for the first time yesterday after one of their employees left a menu at my workplace. There was a sandwich on the menu that looked absolutely delicious. The smoked turkey avocado, with lettuce cheese tomatoes and mayo on fresh baked bread. I was so excited. I went and picked up this sandwich, brought it back to work, only to find it tainted with tons of bell peppers (which I hate), mustard (which I also hate), and onion (which I love but I was at work and have to talk to customers, didn't want to smell). Why would you put 3 extra ingredients on a sandwich where they don't belong and not even have the common decency to put it on the menu so I know to ask for the sandwich without those atrocities on it. I called the restaurant as soon as I saw it, the manager wasn't rude or anything but he didn't seem interested in making good on my horrible first experience. He also said those ingredients are on the menu guide in the kitchen, but not on the menu that goes to customers (this makes zero sense, and those 3 ingredients belong nowhere near this sandwich). So basically I wasted $10 on a sandwich I couldn't eat and the owner didn't even offer to remake it for me. It's a shame, the rest of their menu also looks delicious but I'll probably never go back. Orders are on time so there is no need to heat it up. My all time favorites are their pizza and hot wings, although when I had guests I ordered sandwiches and lasagna. You'll be disappointed. We called in a pizza delivery at 3:30 for delivery at 6:30 during the baseball game. After 2 phone calls asking what happened to the delivery at 6:50 and 7:15 we were told both times the driver was on the way with the order. On the second call the employee hung up on us. Third call an hour after the order was due, we got another assurance that the order was out for delivery and would arrive in 4 minutes. An hour and 15 min after the delivery was supposed to get here the order shows up cold. Driver claiming he was goven the wrong address. Ridiculous. read more

A bad meal can always be erased with good customer service. Bad customer service can never make up for a good meal. The pizza here is ok (not amazing), but the lasting impression will be forever be the terrible customer service we received. After receiving a burnt pizza, we were given the run around from employee who answered the phone. He would not allow us to speak to the manager, not would he provide the manager's name, claiming he "didn't know it". Simply incredulous. Pizza Man has the best pizza I've tasted since moving out to the west coast, and probably even one of the top 3 best pizzas I've ever had ( and my dad used to Own a pizza shop!). Not only does every pizza automatically come with your choice of 6 toppings (which btw they provide a delightful smorgasbord of options for your enjoyment) but the actual elements of the pizza were so obviously crafted by someone who really understands and appreciates what it means to create a delicious slice. Let's start with the crust: when you dine in or pick up (highly recommend trying at least one slice in store before heading home) the crust comes out of the oven crisp on the outside yet dense, chewy, and flavorful on the inside. It's like walking into a bakery and getting the bread straight out of the oven before anyone else. Second, the sauce: pizza man's sauce is by far the best pizza sauce I've ever had and I have had my fair share of pizza! It's hearty, tangy, and perfectly seasoned to compliment the chewy crust and secure the delicious stringy cheese and your unique assortment of toppings to your personal edible masterpiece. The fact that all of these toppings and deliciousness comes at a comparable price to what mediocre restaurants like pizza hut and dominoes charge is actually mind boggling. Any time I'm craving pizza I go to pizza man and I only order from some place else if they happen to be closed. Also as an extra they have really great chicken wings here! Most pizza places just throw wings on to the menu as a side offering but pizza man has some of the best chicken wings, better than what I've had from actual chicken wing restaurants and they have tons of sauce combinations to choose from. Really if you've been reading my review for this long and haven't considered trying them I'm just going to assume that you must be emotionally incapable to feel joy lol. Well... Pizza Man used to be my favorite pizza place : great food , customer service , and price . I used to order from this place once or twice a week. They had very good quality food for reasonable price , which was totally ok. They started sending out new menus with great coupons, however, the quality of the food got very bad. They started put less topping on the pizza because they changed the prices. I don't mind to pay more but get food with better quality , like the way used to be . The customer service still great, but the food is just bad. Basically u pay a few dollars less , but get food with bad quality . Just so disappointed. read more

We were staying at the Westin Hotel in Pasadena, CA for the Rose Bowl Parade. We tried to order delivery, but Yelp, Slice, and Grub Hub all said Pizza Man was closed. We had to call the location to order delivery, but it was like trying to order from a adolescent who was just learning the english language for the first time. The guy kept trying to end my order before I could finish, and even repeated 3 times to make certain he had it right. He said it would be an hour due to peak time ordering during the Rose Bowl. An hour and a half later the delivery guy called from the wrong hotel about a mile away. He arrived at my room, and The bill seemed a little higher than what we originally were quoted for our order. After we opened our bags we discovered that our food was completely wrong, and what we had was stone cold. There is no microwave in the rooms at the Westin, so we were counting on a good hot meal. I tried to call the delivery guy back immediately after he left, and he wouldn't answer the phone. I tried to call the location back, and it was busy for over an hour. When I finally got someone, I was put on hold, and then they hung up. This food, if you can call it that, was the absolute worst meal I have ever had delivered to me from any restaurant anywhere! I wouldn't feed this garbage to a dog even if it was starving to death. read more

Pretty much the worst pizza I've ever tasted...but it is kinda cheap. Yeah, it's food, but I felt like I was eating cardboard and sauce.

So we're having this huge moving sale tomorrow and we needed a bunch of pizzas delivered. I called every pizza place and ended up frustrated--until I called Pizza Man. They had the best deal going. Anton, the person who handled my order, is a jewel to be treasured. He is the quintessential customer service person--knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me figure out how best to feed 30 people. And then...he recommended the boneless wings. His description was so tantalizing, I went for the biggest order they have. He was thorough when taking down all the information to seal the deal and I appreciated that he is a "multi-tasker," in that he did the whole transaction while dealing with my angst over the other pizza folks, and while talking about our favorite wing flavors. I left the choice of flavors up to him, as I trust he will pick out ones that are hot and exotic. I never tasted the the food here, but I don't care.
