I have been coming to this pizza King for many many years. It was really great when the kids were small. The atmosphere is great. It is based like a train station. Each booth has a window in it that has a background scene and the drinks are delivered by a train. The kids love watching the train go by all through the meal and are especially excited when stuff comes for them. The server was great. She was very friendly, Young, and very helpful. She kept coming by to make sure we had everything we needed and took care of us very quickly. We ordered garlic bread with cheese on it and a pizza with pepperoni, sausage and mushroom. The pizza had a very crispy crust tons of toppings and cheese and was really great. It's one reason it is one of my favorites. The garlic bread came two slices with tons of cheese on top, pizza cheese. Garlic and buttery crispy crust and very soft bread. It was a very good starter for the meal. A great experience as usual.

This was my first visit to this location and any Pizza King in at least 10 years. I think I went once in college with my friends parents who were diehard Pizza King diners. We were greeted and sat right away. There were a few families dining but it wasn't overly crowded on aSunday around 12. The server was pretty friendly. We started with an order of cheese filled breadsticks with nacho cheese dip. They were ok. I'll probably eat anything with nacho cheese dip so I'm not too picky there. We also each ordered a personal size pizza since we couldn't decide on toppings as a family. I had the veggie. It was a little salty but not bad otherwise. The price for the amount of pizza you get is a little on the expensive side. But let's be honest. If you're dining here it's because you want your drinks delivered to your train via model train. It was such a fun experience. I know it's for kids but I'm 35 and I enjoyed it. I want all my drinks delivered via train in the future. The whole restaurant is train-themed with the lobby resembling a train station. I also loved just how big the booths were. You could fit at least 6 people comfortably and they had high walls so it was like your own little train car.

    They have a Coby TV!

Going To Pizza King For My First Time! Their Pizza Looks Good! And Breadsticks! They Have The Restroom

TLDR: Classic Pizza King with a train and friendly staff. Breadsticks are forgettable, salads are terrible, but the pizzas are solid! Pizza is also great when delivered. Dining areas could use extra cleaning and a shame they use Styrofoam for to go drinks, as it's not eco-friendly. Four stars for food and service. --- Craved Pizza King on my visit to Indy and my mom and I went to this location. I have also had delivery the week prior. 1. Location is well maintained. Interior booths could use extra cleaning, specifically the train windows had kids smushed fingers prints all over it. 2. Service was very friendly. Our server was a teen girl who was extremely friendly and sweet. 3. The trains are still pretty cute. I could have lived without a big patriotic train though with eagles and flags all over it. But, Indiana loves its patriotic stuff. 4. We tried pretzel breadsticks at my mom's choice. They were bearable, but, I've never been a fan of Pizza King breadsticks. They were pretzel in look, but had no salt on them. I ate one and called it the quits. 5. We asked for potato skins but they were out, they have not been able to find a new supplier for potato skins so they are not offering them at this time. 6. I had a salad when I got my pizza delivered and thought it was a screw up - shredded iceberg lettuce like is served on tacos with one tiny chopped tomato and cubed mozzeralla on top. It was terrible, but the Italian dressing was great. Turns out this is how some locations serve their salads. I will not get it again. 7. Was happy to see our sodas and waters served in reusable plastic cups. I have been frustrated by the amount of single use plastic and Styrofoam in Indianapolis. The to go cups are Styrofoam. I really wish they'd move away from that and modernize to something more eco-friendly (paper or biodegradable). 8. 10" cheese pizza was delicious and hit the spot in that unique PK way! I'd go back to this location, but, would like to check out others next visit. The one I grew up with is in Greenwood and has moved from its original location. However, the trains are fun and a unique attraction. Four stars for the service, trains and pizza. p.s. If they would have had a t-shirt with the King on it I would have bought one in black!!

I have plenty of help eating this pizza.

After taking my grandbaby to gymnastics, I was looking for some place to take her to dinner. My daughter recently moved to the area, so I'm not as familiar with the local businesses. Pizza Kings have become so hit or miss over the years, so I was both excited and unsure when I decided to check this location out. So glad we did. It definitely feels like an older location. The age shows, once inside. However, it did feel clean and that's what matters most to me. I'm a fan of vintage and nostalgia, so I was personally tickled to discover they have a train that delivers drinks and small items to the tables. My granddaughter really got quite a kick out of that. I ordered what I believe she said was a 10" deluxe Pizza. I asked for the smallest, personal size and she said something along the lines of that being the smallest size available. Not sure if they were out of that size dough or if they don't carry it...I was trying to manage a 1 year old and distracted. It's been so long since I've had Pizza King, but I swear there's a smaller size. No one complained about me bringing home leftover pizza so, win win. It was also really good and exactly what I'm looking for when I seek out Pizza King pizza. Our waitress was very kind, soft spoken, and did a great job keeping an eye on our needs and bringing things timely. I appreciated being able to immediately pay at the table, thru a portable point of sale. Will definitely return.

Great breadsticks and thin crust pizza - especially their meat lovers if you are all about eating something loaded and meaty. My husband is a fan of it. We didn't know they don't serve 7" after 4pm, so he didn't order it this time. We had ordered the largest veggie pizza this time actually. Love how the toy train comes to serve any beverage. Their ambiance is set up like that as an old train station and I really enjoy it. Each booth has a tv to keep your kiddo entertained. Family run location and always warm and welcoming restaurant.

Pizza king is a fun restaurant where it's train themed. A little train brings your drinks and each booth has a TV. I came here for a birthday party so we had the private room. The server was friendly and got our drinks as we were walking in. We had a variety of breadsticks and two large pizzas. The breadsticks are far superior than the pizza. There are plenty of games for kids to play as well.

Great pizza, nice staff, locally owned. Glad to support local. Sure beats the typical pizza places.

    The Cheese Filled Breadsticks. (4-Count)

I have been going to this Pizza King location for years now. I love all of their food, and have nothing but good things to say. If you ever visit this Pizza King location? You HAVE to try the Cheese Filled Breadsticks, with Nacho Cheese dipping sauce. They are the most buttery, delightful, mood lifting, delicious, cholesterol filled morsels that are worth every single bite. They are always crispy on the outside, yet fluffy and dreamy on the inside. The butter that is brushed on top is my favorite part, it explodes the flavor x's 10. They're golden-brown and baked to perfection. I know that many people have difference sauce preferences, but the Nacho Cheese is my favorite. It's always piping hot, blends with the breadsticks like you wouldn't believe, and you get a pretty hefty sized cup of it too. If you're ever having a bad day, and need a solid go-to comfort food to make you feel better? I highly recommend this item. Also? The Owner is awesome!

    Are you really that busy?

Our service was appropriately paced for the time it takes to make a Chicago deep dish pizza. I liked the TVs they had in the center of our dining area, which had some pre-season football coverage. The booths have taller partitions so it feels more intimate. I also liked the marquee saying "EAT PIZZA". I will certainly follow instructions there! The pizza we got was "The Special": sausage, green pepper, onion, and mushroom. I thought the pizza was fine, my only thing about Chicago style is that the vegetables can't caramelize like they would on a regular pizza. But that's just a personal opinion. I am pleased with the range of mocktail offerings, which are all $7.

No pizza place from my home state can't compare so Giordano's is always something to look forward to during our 4 day visit. Meat and more meat! This was our table's pizza that was split between 4 people. Honestly can't complain, I love all of their pizza but since we only visit once a year, we always order deep dish style. Never fails and always leaves us full! Carnivore? Then you should definitely order this dish! Make sure it's the biggest one too! Calabrian Chili Honey Chicken Wings Ok so I can't be entirely biased with Giordano's. We wanted to try this out since it was a limited chicken wing flavor and honestly it wasn't the best. I mean it's a pizza joint? They specialize in pizza but we were so hungry that we figured to try it out. Hey, if you love chicken wings or just an enthusiast for wings in general, by all means give this one a shot if it's still available! Overall Always excited to come to Indiana cause I KNOW I'll be eating some damn good pizza. Deep dish style isn't for everyone which is nice that they have their Tavern Style and Thin Crust Pizzas. But since Giordano's specializes in deep dish pizza, it's highly recommended to order deep dish style! can't wait to visit again next year and see what new pizza they'll have! And can't forget about the awesome servers doing their best on those busy convention nights! Y'all the real MVP's! Ambiance is warm and inviting with a bit of high noise since it's also got a bar but it never phases me, if anything it's relaxing since I know I'll be indulging into pizza goodness. Just remember to come hungry and you'll guaranteed to leave happy! See you next year Giordano's!

I have to laugh that my first review for this location of Bazbeaux, an Indy pizza icon since 1986,…read morewas actually my 300th Yelp review. Now, I'm over 1800 reviews and Yelp has become a huge part of my life. I was attending a nearby event related to Indy Shorts Film Festival and decided I wanted to visit Mass Avenue a bit once the event was over. This was early afternoon. After looking around a bit, I opted for a long-awaited return to Bazbeaux. Of course, a lot has changed in this area in the last few years. Parking prices are up (way up), though it's pretty plentiful with nearby street parking (metered) and parking along Mass Avenue. You also have a couple nearby parking garage options. Finding an accessible spot is fairly easy - curb cuts remain solid in this area and there continue to be some (but not all) crosswalks with audio. As was true nine years ago, accessibility on Mass Avenue can be challenging. That said, I think it has improved. I entered Bazbeaux and immediately noticed some improvement right away. There are two sides - a dining side, a bar side (with tables), and an aisle you can use for carry-out. The interior is warm, calming, and surprisingly intimate. The bar area is a bit louder, it's a bar area after all, but it's still pretty quiet. Service here remains strong. The hostess offered the bar area or a booth. Tables are not all wheelchair friendly, however, there are quite a few accessible options. My server, Samuel, was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. He paced my meal nicely - I ordered garlic bread, my usual unsweetened iced tea (I think they still serve Mighty Leaf - an unusual choice that I love). I ordered a small (10") pizza with one-topping (pepperoni). I lingered a little bit, though not excessively so like my last visit. This time around, I was alone and my meal time was more traditional. The prices were definitely higher than last time, however, what price isn't higher than nine years ago? They were on park with the market these days and I had no issues with it - I think my meal came in at about $19 for the pizza, garlic bread, and iced tea (and I did get my always desired refill). Bazbeaux is unique in that every location (Mass Ave, Broad Ripple, Carmel) is located along the Monon Trail. They all have outside dining options, as well. They serve beer and wine, sandwiches, pizza, and more. One thing I have to say - accessibility is improved. I was noticeably bothered by it the last time I was here. This time around, I was comfortable and could easily function (I did not try the bathroom). While I could still see it being a bit difficult when packed, I arrived at an ideal time and was quite comfortable. The food was good, the service was very good, the prices were fair, and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful after a busy morning event. It really hit the spot. So, yeah. Last time around, I gave Bazbeaux a 3-star review. This time, I'm forking over that 4th star.
