The lunch buffet is still good. There is a wide selection of pizza slices and dessert pizzas. The salad bar is awesome. Even though the parking lot was packed (there is a Mexican restaurant two doors away) there was plenty of seating still available inside. Cashier service was prompt as well as table busing service. We had my brother and sister in laws rehearsal dinner here in their party room and it was a great end to a busy day. The pizza was all delicious and the party pizza was huge - plenty to feed almost 20 of us. We also of course got breadsticks which are always amazing. Review for Pick-up order, not dine in: After catching an afternoon movie, I didn't feel like fixing dinner or dining out, so I stopped by Chicago's and placed an order for a "Skyline" (supreme) pizza. I went ahead and paid at the counter and then used one of the seats in the lobby of the restaurant to wait (about 15 minutes) for my thin crust pizza to be ready. Even though I was waiting, I was asked what name to put on the pizza order. While waiting, I noticed that the location has a separate room by the entrance that appears to have garage doors that can open in season to create a patio. Otherwise, the space seems like just additional seating. I will say that I made sure to check my pizza before leaving and was very pleased. The ingredients were evenly spaced and even though there was pepperoni, there wasn't any greasy build up on top. The crust was thin and crisp (my wife's favorite style) and the slices were cut to smaller sections which helped keep the topping on. Looking for a lunch spot in Mooresville? Stop by Chicago's Pizza for their $8 lunch buffet. Okay, $8.50 if you want a soda. Seriously, $8.50! I never have high hopes for a buffet, but (especially) since they were so busy today, everything was straight out of the oven. The breadsticks were perfectly soft and hot. The pizza options were plentiful with choices like buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, meat lovers, white sauce/extra cheese, etc. Not just cheese and pepperoni here! Everything was as clean and well-kept as could be and we were able to seat our group of 9 in the back room. The salad bar was pretty good and well stocked. My favorite, though, was the dessert pizza: tasted like a fresh cinnamon roll! YUM! Can't wait to go back! Be sure to pay when you enter. I cannot rate their pizza. Why? Because we both opted to get their baked spaghetti. It was delicious! It had that nice crunchy/chewy baked cheese thing going on. What would have made it better? More mushrooms and homemade meatballs! They didn't put enough shrooms in the sketti. I was hunting them down like a hungry mama lion. Also, the meatballs were just the generic out of the freezer variety. Our server was okay. She only checked on us once during our meal. My husband and I had both ran out of drinks there at the end. Extremely Poor Customer Service. My son and I visited this location at 1:33 pm and their signage showed they were having a buffet. I'm new to this restaurant and I asked the waitress about their buffet. She turned the signage around and said that it was over and to order from the menu. From what I can tell from this waitress and after speaking with the owner. They have no care for their customers. Their tag line is "it's at our discretion." It's a buyer Beware establishment. This Chicago's Pizza is on the money. Called for a pick-up order the very polite young lady told me it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I had it in my hand walking out the door in 20 mins. Very hot and fresh and made exactly the way I asked for it. The 2 young ladies at the front and the young man that brought my order out for me were all very polite. My husband and I got a table in the outdoor area (first table on left). Was told the server would be right with us. There were two other table with customers already out there. After about five minutes pizza was delivered to the first table, No contact yet from any server. She walked past us to reach their table. Five minutes later the second table received their food, still no contact from a server. (again she walked past us twice to serve their food). Then another couple was seated, and within about three to four minutes a girl went and took their order, again walking past us to get there. Our menus are still laying on the table. First timer here at this particular Chicago's. Waited almost 5 minutes to be greeted at the host stand. Finally sat at a booth with my husband and son. Waited 15 minutes before we saw a waitress greet another table, who were sat well after us. Another 7-8 minutes and the waitress had not even made eye contact with us. We saw the waitress more on her phone than attending to tables. Keep in mind, the restaurant was half empty. Needless to say, we left and will not be returning. Arrived around 750 and was sat immediately. Sat at my table for 10 minutes and was never greeted. Went up to the front to ask for a drink order and was told the waitresses were busy and couldn't get to me. Once the waitress arrived, it was just a "what do you want?" Very rude. I ordered a beer and was told that I couldn't have one due to not having a person in the building old enough to pour. There was another table drinking beer but I wasn't able to have one. This is not the first time I have had poor service at this location. Going forward I will just drive to another town to eat this pizza. Mooresville location will not get my business again. Been in the restaurant business for over thirty years and I would never let my staff treat my guests the way my family and I were treated. People work hard for their money and I absolutely do. Nice and clean. We have ate here twice now at the lunch buffet. We got here at 1:30 which is when the buffet stops selling and they kept the bar full the whole time. The salad bar has a lot of choices to choose from. The price for lunch buffet is $8.50 which is very reasonable for all the choices you have. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. read more

Don't waist your money. The worst pizza we ever had, they are so chintzy with the toppings and sauce, they weigh the pizza as they make it what the hell is that everything is cut into such small pieces you can't even tell if it's on your pizza.
