One of our first nights out since COVID and we decided on Pizza and beers at Chicago's! Our server was awesome... quick and friendly. Even through the mask, you could see her huge smile. Pizza was delicious and beer was ice cold! Very happy we chose this place tonight!

Great pizza and even better breadsticks. We waited a few extra minutes to be seated because there was only one or two waitresses for a very busy restaurant.

Nothing particularly special about this place. Decent food. The floors were pretty dirty when I went in.

Today, I did, because I didn't have to fast for a blood draw right down the street. The inside is a lot bigger than I expected. There is plenty of seating. I counted 18 tables with two seats each (for a total of 36 seats) but arranged in various combinations of 2, 4, 6, and 8 seat groups of tables. The service is super friendly. Well over and beyond any expectation you may have, I'm sure. They make you feel like a member of the family and that you have been coming here for years. I ordered the Grilled Philly Steak Sandwich which comes how ever you want it fixed with a choice of six different cheeses. The sandwich was excellent. I had a bag of plain Lays chips with my sandwich. For dessert I had one Chocolate Chip Cookie. Paying is super easy and totally informal (they explained it to me earlier). No waiting on a check, just mosey up to the register when you're ready and settle up.

They host bible study twice a week and you can tell that the restaurant is faith based. The restaurant is located at an odd intersection and has a small private parking area. The restaurant/cafe/coffee house has a small dining area (with what looks like an overflow area to dine) and a typical cafe style menu that has burgers, wraps, sandwiches, and breakfast food. I went with the chicken salad sandwich with fries. The sandwich was surprisingly good. I had never had chicken salad with raisins and grapes before. But it was very flavorful and delicious. The fries were different too, And also in a good way. I cant put my finger on what made them different, but they were just good. The prices are reasonable and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I am glad that I was able to make it here and I recommend that you check this place out if you are looking for good food and the friendliest service that you will find.

So I took a photo of the tv menu board the last time we were there, and my camera didn't get the catfish dinner special price. But I figured about $10 - $15. So I called ahead and ordered 2 catfish dinners and extra piece of fish with each and a regular side of fried mushrooms. Well, when I got there, the total was $50!!! Yes, I said $50 for two large catfish dinners and one side of mushrooms. The receipt shows that the dinner is $14, the mushrooms are $4.30 and each extra catfish filet is $7!! So I called them and they verified that a single piece of catfish filet is simply half the cost of a complete catfish dinner, but you don't get any of the extras (fries, slaw, sauce, etc.) with it. They said that it'd be better to simply order 3 dinners so you get more extras, but we don't need "more extras", we need more reasonable priced fish... Chicago fish and chicken is just a few miles north on 67 and their large catfish dinner includes 3 filets with fries and slaw for only $12.99.

Obviously microwaved and fell apart with toppings that going everywhere. Did not have sports peppers, but substituted for hot peppers. Final hotdog, I just scrape the toppings off and gave to my dog. Finally got the hotdog after a 25 minute wait. When questioned I was told that it was because they only had two people working there. Seriously, three hot dogs 25 minutes. Once you get in the drive up, you're blocked in with their dumpster. Would have left long before if I could have.

The front desk attendant at the hotel gave us a double thumbs up on the nearby Coachman Restaurant and Lounge so we made our way over with rather high expectations. We have to admit that at first glance the Coachman doesn't suggest a superior dining experience. A somewhat tired exterior and an outdoor deck populated by smokers gave us pause but we pressed on and could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the food, drink, and service. We started with a Casamiga Ranch Water and a pint of the local amber ale. The drinks arrived in frosted glasses with the perfect degree of crispness. The star here is the prime rib. We had the 12 ounce prime which was perfectly rare and served with a large dollop of horseradish as well as a medium rare prime rib sandwich. The meat was flawlessly seasoned and impeccably tender. Our visit to the Coachman reinforced the adage that one ought not judge a book by its cover. We don't know if our adventures will take us through Plainfield again but if they do we will prioritize a meal at the Coachman!

The 8 ounce was plenty big with the two sides so I'm glad I didn't get the larger one. I will be back if I'm in the area. She suggested I try the pork tenderloin next time so I will do that. Keep up the great work.

It was easy to order online, and then pick up without having to get out of the car. Modern conveniences! Donatos does this thing where they cut their pizzas "party style," which means they just cut intersecting lines across the whole pizza. So some of the pieces in the middle have no crust, some of the pieces on the edge are one-bite sized, and all of them are really annoying. They cut their pizzas this way standard, but if you don't want it cut this way, you can request that they slice it the more typical (correct) way. We got The Works, which had peppers, onions and mushrooms on it, plus sausage and pepperoni. The crust is thin, and I wish it were a little more crispy, but overall, it was good. If you go to Donatos, you might as well get their thin crust, because that's what they specialize in. Don't do what I did and get a thicker crust, because they just don't do thicker crusts. Nevertheless, my children like thicker crusts, so I got a half and half with cheese on one side and pepperoni on the other. I didn't finish my slice of pepperoni -- it just wasn't worth the calories. One of the best things about this Donatos experience is that it was easy to order, it was easy to pick up, and the pizzas were ready on time.

Garlic Asiago bread was enormous. Side of wings is 5 wings so again good for 1 person but not to share. As this was for me and me alone it was plenty and I had some leftovers. Would eat here again.
