I was told Subway doesn't carry the boxes anymore, even though the website still lists and advertises them as "boxes." Then I was told that none of the sandwiches had any vegetables on them. When I asked why, the employee said that since I'd ordered the extra veggie platters, they assumed I didn't want lettuce and tomato on the sandwiches. Those toppings are part of the standard sandwich I paid for. Instead of owning the mistake, she blamed me and said I should have added a special note asking for the toppings that are already included. Lettuce and tomato aren't a huge deal. But on a large catering order, I expect the order to be made as advertised, and I expect a mistake to be owned instead of blamed on the customer. The menu or website should also match what's actually being provided.

She tried to remain composed while informing our group of problems with food/drink availability AFTER we'd ordered: out of 1000 Island salad dressing, delay waiting for tea to be made, rolls weren't baked yet, and plates of food missing sides 5-10 minutes later. Two had ordered sweet potatoes. Then they were told that there was only one left. Maybe they could share or order something else. This was after most of us were almost finished eating, so one person took the potato & the other politely declined. (We were traveling together, so they didn't want us to have to wait on them to finish their meal.) Overall, the food was fine, but mine arrived cold. Maybe a group of 13 overwhelmed the kitchen. The restaurant was not busy, though, so it may have been a staffing problem.
