After exploring the eating options in Union Hall, I decided to go with King's Chicken Wings. I was in the mood for carbohydrate, so I picked the loaded fries which came with fried chicken pieces. For seasoning, I picked garlic parmesan. For sauce, I went with the classic buttermilk range. It was a 15 minutes wait for the fries since King's was hopping and everything was freshly cooked. The fries was full of chicken pieces and too too oily. The seasoning and sauce were on point and additive. Youngest daughter and Mrs. tasted tested my fries. They liked it so much that they kept stealing fries and chicken pieces from my plate. The said my fries tasted better than their dishes from another vendor. Employees were friendly and helpful. Cost was a tab high for fries and chicken pieces, but the quality and tastes justified it. read more

Bawk Bawk!! Chicken Chicken!!! So this was our second time visiting this establishment and let me tell you that I was so impressed by not only the food but the outstanding customer service. I hate I didn't get the employee's name but he was the ONLY one there working; he was taking orders and cooking the food all by himself. Long story short my son's high school basketball team was in town for a tourney and I suggested this place. We ordered 100 wings multiple flavors and sauces plus fries and he had everything prepared for us in less than 20 mins!! He provided plates and napkins and the boys absolutely loved the food!!! Wandering around downtown for a place to have lunch and stumbled across King's Chicken Wings. The service was exemplary and the food was incredibly flavorful. The wings were cooked to the right point of being done but not over cooked and the fries had a nice hint of salty and sweet. I washed it all down with a delicious lemonade from Pop's Lemonade that reminded me of the kool-aid I enjoyed as a kid. I absolutely recommend King's Wings! I went about a week ago and I enjoyed my eating experience. I called in and placed my order with ease. My food was ready in 10 minutes, and the pickup was simple. I really love the garlic Parmesan wings, they're seasoned so deliciously. However I wasn't much of a fan of the lemon pepper wings because it tasted salty... to me. The food here is absolutely perfect, every time. The wings, the flavors, the fries, nothing in town compares. I love having the option for the dry wings. Do not consider any other wing place in town if you're craving wings. Heck, in Texas, the US...these are hands down the best wings and the seasoning on the fries is THE BEST. The service is also so nice. Have eaten here in Union Hall several times, but used online ordering from their website for the first time today since we were in a rush - everything turned out wonderful and was ready to go when we arrived. Atmosphere: Inside the Union Hall (located where the now defunct Wings of Waco was previously located). Food: I asked for Louisiana wings and it was my understanding that is would be a rub but what I got instead was some flats drowned in sauce. Sauce (unless it's a dipping sauce) camouflages the real flavor profile of the wings. Fries: Frozen thinly cut fries dusted with some Lawry's seasoning sauce. Drink: They provide you with a styrofoam cup and you have to walk around the corner to Poboy sandwich place to get your drink. (This may change in the future but definitely not a good first customer experience). I certainly hope they make it but it seems to be a repeat of Wings of Waco. First off, there is little to nothing you can find online about this place. Second, it was $17 for ten wings and fries. They used to offer a drink but that is now crossed off the menu in sharpie. Third, the girls working there were extremely unhelpful, rude, and had no desire to be there. They had no knowledge of the already limited menu. Fourth, I ordered BBQ and Louisiana hot. There was no separation between the two so the sauces all ran together and I couldn't tell which was which. There were maybe three drumsticks in my 10 piece and the rest were flats. As soon as I ordered, they dumped the fries in a box as they were dropping the wings in the friers, so my fries were stone cold by the time I got home. All that being said, the wings freaking slapped, thus garnering a 2 star review. Everything else was subpar at best and I won't be going back and have recommended against it to multiple people. read more
