Love it when people *actually* like their job and spread positivity. Give this man a raise. I got the bowl with rice, both beans, half of steak and barbacoa and today trying the cilantro lime crème in addition to the pico de gallo and corn salsa I usually don on top with lettuce and cheese. The food is enough to split with my husband for $11 and some change. Not bad for today's prices and it all tastes fresh and well spiced. I think if you just speak up, the portions are just as generous as the Grandville location. Keep it up Hudsonville. I'll be back.

What's the reason for needing a name in the drive through? Taking a survey? You don't need a name. This must be some corporate wing tip shoe wearing marketing guy who is trying to make BK something other than what it is... a fast food hamburger joint! You order then drive to window #1 and wait until they jam all of the cars from the drive up speaker behind you and then they have you finally pay. They make you wait at window #1 since the workers are gaming the corporate system to keep the wait time at window #2, where it is timed, to a minimum. It is irritating to say the least! One last thing is they need to stop asking if you want to donate to THEIR charity or organization of the week. If I want to donate it sure is not to your charities or favorite fund. The food is ...well Burger King standard fast food.

We placed our order online well in advance. The official Arby's website advertised a Sandwich Day (Nov. 3rd) special of $.99 Classic Roast Beef sandwiches with a 20 sandwich limit. I don't know what franchise agreement they have with Arby's but apparently it allows them to use the Arby name while not honoring their advertised specials. I wasted my time and gas driving there for nothing. It won't happen again.

It was 114 PM when we exited at Jenison, MI to grab a lunch at Culvers. We're both huge Culvers fans but other than one visit to a location in New Glarus WI 20 years ago have not had any in the City of Chicago till a couple of years ago and its been a treat each and every time. Unfortunately the customer service in Chicago isn't always friendly as the staff usually act as through they are doing you a favor by taking your order. I've never waked away from the counter with a smile until this visit. Culvers #263 in Jenison MI is clean, safe, delicious and very friendly. I saw that they had a new limited edition burger that I had to try and am I glad that I did. A TRUE GAME CHANGER: The Pepper Grinder Pub Burger. It was so good that I bought another on my way home to Chicago. But it wasn't just the burger that was impressive. The clerk at Register #3 at the 1 PM hour was very friendly and referred to my LA GUNS shirts and talked about how much he likes the band and wanting to see them live. My friend who was driving on this long road trip had the Mushroom and Swiss Melt which is her favorite and she mentioned how rare it was to have very friendly and pleasant service something that is very unfamiliar at a particular Chicago location.
