On our way camping, drove by and saw "PIZZA". My boyfriend is a pizza lover. So we had to try. I feel like the places you never plan on going to seem to amaze you. Inside definitely aiming for a vintage look. Family friendly, arcade inside. You order up front, they will serve your food when ready. We ordered the artichoke garlic pizza and beef ravioli. The beef ravioli sauce added the cherry on top. Maybe could've added a bit more cheese but that's because it complemented it so well. Last but not least the pizza. The short version of this comment, food is great the place and interior is a bit sketchy. I stopped by this pizza place to satisfy my hunger and my first impressions where a bit mixed. As I got close to the location it seem as they where closed the place looks not run down but not maintained. No neon signs leaving me to believe the posters with the "open daily" where lying I still stopped to check it out and they where open. Inside it's very isolated very early 2000s feeling buzzing lights it just feels very lonely and sketchy in it's own way. Nevertheless we order a calzone pizza and pasta, to my surprise they where genuinely good not to burnt not to undercook a bit on the greasy side but that doesn't bother me pasta was good calzone was good although the dough seems to be a bit lacking in the flavor side. The pasta was on a aluminum to go container witch to me screams "not good" but again shocked me when I tasted it. It's good I'm very satisfied we spend around 50 for these three items and two drinks you decide if it's pricey for me the food was worth it we took some to go and I left full and happy! I'm quite appalled at all the mediocre reviews for Pizza factory-Bishop. I say Bishop specifically because none of the other locations in the chain even come close. Our Mammoth trips are never complete without a visit to Pizza factory. In fact just this past weekend, three hours post breakfast (@ the Stove), we had lunch at Pizza factory and holy crap we were stuffed. no. wait. STUFFED.. We forced ourselves to eat anyway just because we had to indulge our need for this time honored tradition. Anyways, we always order the same exact combo: Meat lovers pizza - this is a carnivore's dream. The meat is always a-plenty, the crust perfectly doughy/ crispy and the cheese oh so ooey-gooey. Super great with ranch. Hot and spicy wings - deeeeliciously prepared, just the right amount of spice and tang (I hate overly-vinegar'd wings), and best eaten with ranch. Could be just as good with bleu cheese but I'm not a big fan of it. Breadstix - (not the garlic bread), these dough-delights are buttery and are a chewy-soft goodness. Come to think of it, also super yummy with ranch. Shit I think their ranch is just THAT good. We haven't braved the rest of the menu, but not cause the other stuff might not be good, there simply is no need change our pizza factory trio. Pizza. Wings. Breadstix. My dad, brothers, and I stopped here while on our way back to Bakersfield from Mammoth Lakes, and I had heard great things about the franchise, but had never actually eaten it myself. After having it for the first time, I can say it was fantastic food, at a reasonable price. Wish they had a location in Bakersfield, I would certainly be a frequent customer here! The only drawback in my opinion was the atmosphere; it was fairly loud, and the kitchen was effectively wide open and adjacent to the dining area, but overall, I can't complain too much. I love this place. I love pizza. My dad introduced me to this restaurant a few years ago. We always get The Factory. Basically, the works. They have many types of pizzas to choose from. there are three large flat screen tvs in the dining room, and a game room for kids. It's got a very friendly family atmosphere and my son and I always look forward to eating here on our fishing trips. We leave stuffed. I just ate there last night and am already looking forward to next March for our next fishing trip. I highly recommend eating here. You will NOT be disappointed!!! read more

My wife and I travel through Bishop at least once a year on our way camping. Over the years we have eaten in many restaurants in town with mixed reviews. When the local KFC gets bad reviews you know theres a problem. This trip we decided to try the pizza factory. We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and a Cesar salad, figured if the place was bad we could at least deal with spaghetti. We decided to split one dinner portion between us not knowing the outcome. Well everything was excellent. The meatballs were very good along with the sauce and the dalad dressing was good ad well and wrote had food left over, so the portion are decent as well. We love this pizza restaurant every time we visit Bishop. We lodge in Bishop at least four times every springtime for our fishing trips. Our pizzas are always consistent with the fresh ingredients and no skimping on the toppings. The pizza crust is always crispy and delicious. I was informed that it is because of the water here in Bishop. We always look forward to having a wonderful pizza and all you can drink. I recommend having a side of ranch dressing to finish off the crust. A Large pizza with Pepperoni, sausage and freshly slices mushrooms is our go to fave! I recently went here for lunch. The ambiance is decent and they have an arcade area. However, I really enjoyed their meatball sub sandwich - one of the best I've ever had. We were on a trip coming home from Lake Tahoe, can't tell you how happy I was to find this place! Growing up in a small town of Lake LA Pizza Factory was the best pizza in town! Going home from mammoth and stoped here for food with the family. They have a arcade area which is small but nice and a little back room where the kids can make noise and eat. As far as the food goes amazing! The bread is fresh and delicious! This is not a Pizza Hut kinda of a place but a very flavorful and fresh place. Great service and top notch crispy thin crust pizza. One can't go wrong with these "Awesome" pizzas. We came on a Sunday night....we first thought they were closed based on the view from 395, but we spotted people inside, so we pulled around and parked in back. We had an artichoke and garlic pie and a pepperoni pies, and Alfredo fettuccine. Both pies were perfectly done and the crust was perfectly crisp. It is hard to find pizza with this good of crust, and it's fun to watch the makers toss the dough in the air. A solid pizza place where I have eaten since I was a little kid, it is a new location from when I was a kid growing up spending my summers in bishop. The food is still excellent and the service is awesome. Do not miss this place when you are in the area and craving some pizza, lots of fresh toppings, good selection of beer and a great little salad bar. Delicious Handcrafted Pizza This place never fails. The menu offers basic pepperoni, cheese etc. pizzas but also offers creatively named pizzas that are absolutely delicious! My all time favorite pizza is the Bronco combo (named after our Bishop Broncos high school) it is a combination style pizza piled high and only for those with an appetite. On this visit I also tried the Western BBQ Chicken pizza and was once again impressed. The sauce on this pizza was fantastic and the chicken was very tender. I highly recommend both pies. This place offers fabulous chicken wings in three tasty varieties. Original, BBQ and hot - all wings were cooked expertly. They were well seasoned with the meat falling from the bone. The salad bar was basic but no complaints. The restaurant is true to the Owens Valley style of living. You will not be oversold but you will get full and relax in comfort. Hot pizza on a cold day is a winning combination! Very low-key pizza place where you order at the counter, they give you a number for your table, and then they bring out the food to you. We ordered the factory special, and damn, it really does come with everything! The crust is on the thicker side and crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside--very bready. It was a little bit annoying that they cut the slices pretty unevenly and it seemed like some of the toppings weren't distributed all that evenly, but we just decided to redistribute the toppings ourselves. It was cheesy goodness. I also really appreciated that they had the soda fountain in the restaurant, so we could get refills ourselves. We were pretty dehydrated that day, so we kept going back to refill our water cups. I'm sure we would have annoyed the servers if we kept asking them for water refills, but we didn't have that issue, since we could do that ourselves. read more

The floor was dirty, some tables were dirty and the young employees were walking around with their phones when there was plenty they could do, and this was early in the afternoon, before the dinner rush. Most pizza factory's haven't been around as long as this eastern sierra staple and the breadsticks at this location are different then the others and that's a good thing! I must update my review because this is the second time in a week & a half that we've dined here and I have to say I don't see the unfriendly employees other reviewers are talking about. I think practicing patience and being a friendly customer is key - we normally never have issues with the food or service, this last time the kitchen was pretty slow..we waited about 35 minutes for the pizza to arrive after the spaghetti was already on the table. The wings my husband ordered never arrived after almost an hour there. He went up to check on them & when he went to pay for his half pitcher of IPA the employee said on the house and apologized for the late wings. This is the second time they've apologized for any mistake and made it right. Most of them are younger kids just working hard and trying to earn some money. Came from San Diego to camp and was looking for a good pizza place because my pregnancy cravings are no joke! I walked in with my mom and right away you could tell the vibes were very chill and relaxed. They have great customer service. Greeted us as we walked in. Attentive and kind staff. They look happy to work here! This is definitely a place I would like to work if I lived in Bishop. One gentlemen whom I'm assuming is the manager even opened the door for us as we were leaving, because our hands were full. Definitely recommend 10/10! read more
