I cannot go to the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland without needing to eat at a restaurant like one. Cozy, little restaurants like Pizza Boy are a big part of the reason I love going to the Ocean City in the summer. They have every type of fun boardwalk food you could possibly want on a hot, sunny day at the beach. The customer service was top notch, and I loved the outdoor seating along the boardwalk(limited). We ordered a few slices of pizza, and two fresh squeezed lemonades. The pizza was fantastic, hot and greasy, just like it should be. The lemonades were so refreshing, and went perfectly with the pizza. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone in OC who wants to remember what it was like coming to the boardwalk as a child to get some pizza. An added bonus, there is a fantastic ice cream shop next door. read more

FOOD: Corn Dog - $8.20 Our local county fair has been canceled for the past three years due to the pandemic, so it's been a while since I've had a corn dog, or Pronto Pup as they're called back home. This recipe was good; served hot with a creamy and not overly oily batter with a meaty dog inside. Drizzled on ketchup and mustard and I was good to go! I have to give Pizza Boy 5 stars. We ordered carry out and drove to the boardwalk to pick up. Everyone was so nice and the place was hopping. Even after we drove home and ran up all the stairs to the condo, we unveiled a still hot sweet looking dinner spread. Something for everyone, and then some. Mozzarella sticks, cheesesteaks, French fries, chicken tenders, Buffalo wings, onion rings and a 1/2 pepperoni/cheese pizza. We set up and watched the All-stars game grabbing our bites hand over fists. *The pizza was superb and my daughter raved about her cheesesteak. Pizza Boy is a pizza and subs place in Ocean City. They deliver on Door Dash and provide pick up but don't have indoor seating as of Covid. Their plain cheese pizza is allergy free (no soy, no eggs, no nuts, no sesame) and the staff was confident a other their ingredients because they make the dough on premises. The pizza itself is thick and they only have 18 inch pies. It was "ok" but we were really happy about the ingredients. Additionally on one side of the pizza we got olive and mushrooms and they did a great job of distributing and not skimping. We also ordered hot wings (for the parents) and they were ok. The delivery was super fast and efficient through Door Dash. Would order again! read more

I was walking on the broadwalk with the family and we were looking for a good place to eat for dinner. I yelped and found this place and so glad we dined here. We ordered an 18 inch pie and some chicken fingers and fries. The pizza was delicious and reminds me of the NYC slice, a thin crispy crust with cheese and marinara sauce oozing as you take a slobbering bite. The have specials on the 18 inch pie with pitcher of soda is $22 but a pitcher of beer tap is $28. They also serve subs (hot or cold deli) in 7 inches or footlong, and some seafood dishes like fish and chips, calamari, clam strips. There are a few tables and this place fills up quickly. You place your order and they give you a slip and circle the last number listed on the slip. That's your number and when you're order is ready, they will call it. The bathroom is inside and is all the way in the back of the restaurant. It's located next to and ice cream shop which is also a sweet treat for afterwards! read more

While the cashiers didnt seem like they wanted to be there, the manager was very nice and happy to help us out. We opted to get half and half BBQ chicken/Meat Lovers. The pizza was HUGE! We especially enjoyed the chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza. It was a little pricey, but it made for a good eating-out-on-vacation experience. There isn't a lot of seating, so try to come earlier in the evening to beat the crowd. If you're hungry for dessert, this pizza joint is conveniently located next to an ice cream shop! read more

Variety of options for toppings etc. it's not NYC pizza ( don't expect Lombardi's) but good, solid pizza. We had a bbq chicken 14" (about $25) and a 14" plain (about $16). They also sell giant 18" pies. the people are friendly & helpful. Beer in bottles & on draft (small selection). Cheesesteaks, meatball subs & fish tacos also for sale. Best pizza on the board walk!! We love it here! This season was my daughters first time and she was excited to try this pizza....because I wouldn't shut up about it! The Pizza is always hot and delicious. The crust is crunchy, sauce is amazing and just the right amount of cheese. The fresh squeezed lemonade is out of this world as well. We usually stay down at 21st street but we make the walk or take the tram because it is well worth it!! The pizza was $26 for a whole pepperoni which was better than paying $5 a slice. It was a lot of a very sweet sauce, crunchy crust and just enough cheese. I'm not a fan of too much sauce but the taste want bad. I just can't get over how much food is now. A whole pizza usually costs around $16 to $18. With places being closed for so long due to covid has really caused businesses to up their prices. read more

Crispy bottom, yummy sauce, perfect amount of cheeses THIS is what "a slice" is. The slices are a generous slze perfect amount of light char in the bottom. It is perfectly delicious pizza. The pizza here is decent for boardwalk food, but in no way mind blowing. Our pie was served piping hot and very cheesy, I just wish the crust was crispier. As others have mentioned the sauce isn't incredible, but I guess it gets the job done. Also, we walked past several other pizza joints on the BW and this was by far the best one. read more

This is good spot for a pizza special with a pitcher of soda. The pizza was tasty and cooked well. You have to eat it immediately right away out the oven. They had tables outside right on the boardwalk. The tables were small with not so much room but you can squeeze a family of four in them. They also offer chicken fingers and sandwiches as well.
