The only thing to note is that the wait time was quite long. The five-star rating despite the wait tells you just how good it was. But, if you're in a hurry, this may not be your best bet. We were on our way to Sand Mountain and needed the first night to be an easy dinner. We ordered 3 topping XL pizza. Did not disappoint. Very flavorful and we had cold pizza the next morning for breakfast. Called it in and picked it up on our way to the dunes perfect timing when they said it would be done. Very friendly workers. Placed order for take out, Pizza was ready when I arrived (30 minutes) was early just after 5:00 so wasn't very busy. I ordered medium pepperoni sausage and extra cheese, and pizza was very delicious no t greasy like a lot of other pizza joints. Have been told by others that Service is sometimes slow here but I have eaten inside and takeout before and never had problem with service or the food. read more

I am a visitor from Oregon, and I like to do reviews on food when traveling. I came in tonight with my family (who are Latino/Hispanic) and before even ordering, an employee came up to us and said "just a heads up, you are going to have to get your food to go because we are closing soon." THIS WAS AT 8:45. They close @ 9:30 pm this Sunday night. We said it was fine because we did not want to seem rude and disrespectful. We waited almost an hour for 3 pizzas and as we were leaving, 3 WHITE males were SITTING DOWN eating whom came in about 20 minutes before closing. So tell me why, we were told we had to take our food home almost an hour before closing, and they come in way after us and get to dine in. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE. read more

This is the first place I've eaten at in Fallon. I'll assume that their Pizza is much better than their Ruben sandwich. If you can even call it a Ruben. How dare you not use rye bread! Pizza bread?? Pizza Barn in Fallon is by far the best pizza in Fallon, but be prepared to wait a very long time. We had the Carnivore, it's a multi meat flavored pizza. We did ask to have it well done in the center. The pizza was really delicious. We had to wait almost 75 minutes. I could have had a few beers and sobered up by the time we got our pizza. Luckily I knew one of the employees and they saw we hadn't gotten our pizza yet and went to the oven and got our pizza for us. Superb service! Came in a hour before closing with a large group and got taken care of right away. Pizza was on point, so cheesy and fresh with ingredients. Man, it's been *years upon years* that I've been here to enjoy pizza... I remember back in the day when the Tostada pizza was *bomb* and playing in the arcade was the. best. thing. EV.er!!! Fast forward to yesterday, when I decided to dine here with my mom and kiddos in tow. After an 8 hour drive up here, tired as h-e-double hockey sticks, the one thing I *wanted* to do first was to eat here. Good decision. "Sweet Home Alabama" was blaring from the juke box (and now my boy has a new song to sing!) and we were greeted with friendly faces from the counter staff. Pizza Barn has grown alot since I've been there last, with a larger dining area and with more yum items on the menu. We ordered the large combo on regular crust., an order of Barn Wedges (had to try since fellow yelpers piqued my interest, and a pitcher of Sprite. The wait was about 10 minutes-ish (?) The Barn wedges came out first, and if I didn't read about them earlier I would have thought they were some sort of potato dish. My son thoroughly enjoyed the wedges. They're like a personal cheese pizza with ranch on the side. Nice amount of cheese, light garlic flavor, and the ranch that came was some really good ranch! Our pizza was full of yum toppings! Every inch, to the very edge of the pie, was full of toppings! And for a large pizza, I liked how the slices weren't ginormous slices. Between 4 people we ate all of the wedges, and half of the pizza. I sent my daughter to get another pitcher of Sprite, but that took a while longer than I thought... The lady helping my daughter (I'm sorry I didn't get your name!) was trying to tell her that instead of paying for another pitcher ($5.00, tax included) she could just refill our individual glasses for free. She was trying to save us some money (bless her heart!) I went ahead and paid for another pitcher (I guess I'm a Sprite-a-holic), but for next time, I know my drink options. We hung out in the arcade after our meal. My brother was excited to know that the duck shooting game was still there. I guess it was his favorite to play! According to one of the ladies working there (I didn't get your name, either...) the game is in the process of getting repaired. Good to know! I've been coming here since I can remember. The best place anywhere. I can't find anything comparable. I even have my family bring me pizza when they come to visit in Vegas. It's always my first stop when going home. One day I was at a car rental location here in Vegas & I seen a lady with two pizza boxes from Pizza Barn, she said she had to bring her son pizza from there when she comes to visit him at college. Ok, after reading the previous three reviews I had to try this place and this infamous Barn Wedge. The Barn Wedge was good, but that's it. It is very thick & doughy with hardly any cheese and just a light garlic flavor. The pizza had a very interesting crust but again, average in flavor (I just ordered a pepperoni). I ordered a 10in pizza, an order of wedges and a soda and my order was just over $15. To me, that is very expensive for what I ordered. One thing I did dig is that you can buy take and bake pizzas. Final thoughts... far better than Pizza Hut or Dominos, but far from the best pizza in the world. read more

I was surprisingly pleased at the quality of the pizza to be found in Fallon at this establishment. While I see some people complaining about slow pizza coming out, we came on a busy Friday night and were served within 20 minutes of ordering the pizza. Considering that it's made when you order it and not pre-made, I think that's a very reasonable time. Stingy salad bar only allows you to go up once, so I skipped that. Atmosphere was good for a pizza place - had a little bit of character to it but didn't feel outdated. Service was friendly. read more

We come here often! The food is always great but the service, one lady in particular, is always awful. We order the salad bar every time. However, this time I didn't put a lot of dressing on my salad because there wasn't much in the jar. I had returned about half way through my salad to get a plate with just more dressing and she stopped me to say, "you actually have to pay for that." My response was, "well, I just ordered three salad bars and it wasn't full so I'm grabbing some more for our salads." She rolled her eyes, huffed and walked away. I'm catching up on Yelp reviews and here are my notes from our visit here back in June 2013: "lunch here on tues 6/11. great chicken bbq pizza, got the fam size which was too much for three of us plus barn bites. men's restrm clean women's made me ill - smell and dead cockroach. also health inspectors showed up as we were leaving and i searched for a trash can to dry heave over." Let's just say I'm docking a star because Round Table was pushed out and really had a craving for King Arthur's Supreme. I only pass thru town occasionally, so my bitterness is short lived. Oh, the pizza. Well, it's different, but good different. The dough has a distinct flavor, which is why I think the "Barn Wedges" has become their signature appetizer. It's just dough and cheese. Which I like, but it's not like mozzarella sticks can't compete with it, you know? The pizza is decent. The toppings are OK. I had a pizza there once with bacon, but the quality of the bacon was meh. I haven't been to Pizza Barn in quite a while. Tonight I called to order two xl take and bake pepperoni pizzas. I was put on hold twice and hung up on twice. I drove there and went in to order them. Girl walked over, didn't even make eye contact with me and said I'll be with you in a minute. Then she stood there staring at the computer screen. She said it in a tone of voice as if she was annoyed. The guy that hung up on me twice asked if I had been helped yet and I said no, so I told him what I would like. Then the girl that told me she would be with me in a minute said the wait is 45 minutes, again, without making eye contact or taking her eyes away from the computer screen. The guy walked over and said it would be about 45 minutes. Pretty crazy to have a 45 minute wait for a take and bake pizza. Throw the thing together and wrap it, 2 minutes each if they know what they are doing. I guess I won't be going back any time soon. They used to be the place to go but they sure weren't on their game tonight, that's for sure. I ended up going to Papa Murphy's, i was greeted at the door when I arrived and they were all personable. I ended up ordering 3 family size pizzas and a dessert pizza. They had a ton of order slips lined up and I was out in 8 minutes. For all those ordered they had lined up and they were still polite and professional made me feel like a valued customer.
