Hate to have to write this review but people gotta know the updates and truth about this place. I lived in Harrison for 10 years and this place at first used to be this little tiny pizzeria where not many people would go- But then realty dreams happened and a great location opened up for them in Harrison and they moved. They've been at the new location for about...6(?) years, and since they moved, they were the 'it' place for birthdays, casual fine dinning, and just flat out good meals. Pizza was good, pasta was amazing, and everything else was fine. Nothing to complain about. But lately a coworker and I have been getting orders for pick up while at work, I have been picking up as well as dining in, and the quality has really gone down. Not only in food but in quality control, their over-the-phone customer service when placing an order is terrifying, this rude guy always picks up the phone and you can't even ask questions about anything because he'll rush you so much! It's really so uncomfortable and I don't even wanna make a phone order ever again! I used to get this one pasta dish all the time, because it USED to be unbelievable. I used to get Fettuccini Caprice- this pasta dish with grilled chicken, Gorgonzola and sausage with a 'penne a la vodka' type of sauce- DELICIOUS. But lately it doesn't taste the same. None of their plates taste the same. And they've also gotten ruder and ruder. I hope they read this and make some serious changes, but until then, I won't be coming back. read more

Let's start off with food is good as always when I go there, but our waiter didn't even talk to us and I saw him check out 2 ladies when they walked passed him which is so disrespectful and horrible for business. Wow, today there was plastic in the penne a la vodka. In the sauce diced up like pieces of shredded cheese. I brought it up and the owner shuns it off like it was a piece of cheese. Then I found Another piece in the food and A puts it in her mouth and says it was plastic. Of course they took it back and asked if I wanted something else but who would want something else after finding that in the SAUCE? I drove all the way from Dobbs Ferry to p/u their gluten free pizza & pasta. I won't do that for anyone else. It was delicous. I have a gluten free allergy so I'm use to getting so-so food. This place is different. I won't have guess that it was gluten free. It tasted like regular food. Of course, this won't be my last time getting food from them. I walked into the place at 6:15...OMG it was like Chuck E Cheese...tables and tables of mommies and their young. No surprise...I just hadn't thought through the timing. By 6:45 the place had emptied out. Although I went for dinner, I had to try a slice and had one as an appetizer...it was pretty good by local standards. I ordered a chicken parm dinner (and asked the waiter to only bring me half and to put the other half in a take out container...which he didn't...but otherwise service was fine and friendly). Dinner came with a salad...nothing special here...decent fresh veggies and bottled blue cheese dressing. The chicken was OK...not the greatest in terms of taste or texture (should have been cut thinner...should have been better seasoned). The penne was slightly overcooked and the sauce was bland (almost like canned crushed tomatoes which someone warmed up for a few minutes). Overall, except for the pizza, it was disappointing. I'd go back to try more of the pizza and might even try a few other dishes (as I've heard good things about this place...but from questionable sources), but they'd have to wow me quickly before I decide that Pizza 2000 is simply not worth it. read more

I miss this place. Their pasta 2000 (not sure if its still in the menu) is like the best (price, taste wise). I didn't know they were good until i moved outside of harrison .. harrison has the most italian food places that are actually good! My first one star review. Used to love this place and thought it was the best pizza, meals were always decent, albeit greasy, but the pizza made up for it. either way, I'm done with this place. Delivery is an absolute joke. told 35 mins, waited 1hr 10 and only half the food showed up. 2 hours and 30 mins later i got the rest of the order which was cold and soggy . The pizza has always been excellent, for the many years I have come here. I've never had an issue with either restaurant service or delivery service. The delivery for me has always exceeded my expectations for pizza ordering, and the food had always been above par, pizza or not. They've gotten really expensive over the last few years and their food isn't as good as it used to be before they moved into their new fancy restaurant . They used to be cool and had great service years ago. Now they tend to care about the locals and not the outsider customers . I thought the name was hilarious, so I decided to give it a shot. On the inside, it looks much more serious and impressive, but after eating the pizza I was highly disappointed. Nothing had much seasoning or flavor, and even the more interesting-looking pies were either dry or bland. My hunger won out over my taste, and I still ate it, but I will DEFINITELY not be coming back. read more

Nice from the outside. Fairly clean inside. Pizza is too thin sometimes and cheese overpowers it, never thought I'd say that. Pasta is hit or miss and subs are fair. Service is quick, delivery can take a while so be prepared to wait. Best option in town but that doesn't say much for Harrison. read more

This is our go to pizza place for lunch and Friday night delivery. The grandmas pies, both regular and arugula are AMAZING! Food is delicious too. When we dine in for lunch with our insane children, we are welcomed warmly and the kids always leave with a complimentary chocolate chip cookie. read more

Take out pizza is always real italian style. Great crust, great taste. We ate in Resturant Thursday night. Chicken Marsala was perfect, Fettucini was aldente and just creamy enough and EggPlant (melanzane) is like nonna used to make. And try the garlic knots instead of bread. Service is always good. Just went here today. Good atmosphere and an extremely friendly staff. Got the chicken parmesan slice(which was awesome) and also the grandma slice of the eggplant. The eggplant slice had fresh basil with ricotta and was very good. The place looks brand new and is extremely clean which for people who are worried about the cleanliness of a typical pizza place, Pizza 2000 far exceeds. I mentioned on the way out that the place was awesome and one of the men behind the counter gave me 2 free chocolate chip cookies. Pizza 2000 - Poor service, less than average pizza, incredibly rude management - Never using again and telling everyone I know ... So, tonight, a not-so-nice, rainy Friday night I ordered dinner for my four kids and guests at 6:15 pm. Two pizzza's and some entrees. I gave the person on the phone my credit card info so I wouldn't have to pay cash. By 7:15 we had called to find out where our dinner was. We were told it was en-route. By 7:40 we called again and was told the same. It clearly doesn't take that long to get from Harrison to Rye ... By 7:45 our dinner arrived. The driver had no info about my credit card, but accepted my signature on the receipt instead. While the entrees were average, the pizzas were both cold and overcooked and very below average. Two hours later an employee calls and tells me that they don't have my credit card info on file. As I am getting my card to give him the info again, I inform him that we were very dissatisfied with the pizzas. He then gets his manager, Mike. Mike gets on the phone, tells me that the other emnployee told him that I wasn't happy with the pizza and tells me that he needs my credit card. He doesn't seem at all interested in my comments. He just wants my card info. He tells me that the driver paid cash for my order since he didn't have the credit card slip and that he needs the full amount from me to pay back the driver. Sounds fishy. He then tells me that if I don't pay the full amount on my card, the driver will have to come back to my house to collect it. Or, he threatens awfully quickly, he can call the police. Seriously? How about "I'm sorry you weren't happy. How about we credit you back for the two pizzas?" On multiple occasions during the conversation I am told to either give him my credit card number or the driver will come to the house to collect the cash or he will call the police. He was shocklingly rude. So, bottom line .... Poor pizza. Poor delivery time. Poor service. Rude management. Tells me alot ... Oh. And by the way. I just realized that they forgot to deliver one of the items on my order. Figures!! read more

I have tried plenty of other restaurants and love Pizza 2000 the BEST! The people there always give a friendly "Hello".Sometimes when I am waiting pretty long,the people talk to you until,and before you know it they are there to take your order. Another thing that I LOVE about it is that they are very clean. This is a great local pizza joint. My family has been getting pizza from here for as long as I can remember. Every time I visit my parents, it is a must. We love the old fashioned margherita pie with the fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. The service is quick and the pizza is awesome! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I've been a customer since opening day, since then I have ordered from here at least once a week. I received a coupon for $5 off my total order. The coupon code was not accepted on the mobile app(though the coupon directly stated mobile app only) so I called the restaurant and was absolutely shocked at the way the owner John spoke to me! He said the coupon didn't work and that they're sending another one out at some point. So I can just cancel my order and wait for it. When I asked him to honor the coupon as it was sent directly from pizza 2000 not a third party he refused and said "you don't need to order from here". Unbelievable how rude he was, when I said I didn't appreciate the way I was being spoken to, especially being a customer of 20 years and that I won't be coming back, he said "ohhh I'm so scared" and hung up on me! My kids love pizza 2000 have been ordering since I moved to Harrison 8 years ago that's our pizza spot so I was so upset when I was told to hurry to place my order on the phone. Used to be a very good quality pizza place (I was a very loyal customer who has been a patron since it's opening and knows the owner ) but as business thrived in recent years, the quality has gone down dramatically and has become extremely variable. Perhaps volume takes precedence to quality. Yesterday we ordered a delivery of Sicilian and the edges were charred, the mozzarella was floating on a poor marinara and there were only 2 slices of pepperoni per pizza slice. The spicy wings are tiny and at $1 a wing not worth it. The garlic knots were good. The previous time we had delivered an extra large round pizza with extra pepperoni, crust was so thin and was so soupy that it was falling apart ( why we went Sicilian yesterday)..... their dinners are usually good..... we're considering ordering from Harrison pizza station next time... by the way pizza quality is better when one dines in store???? read more
