I've lived here in Harrison just a few years. Being form the Bronx, I really wanted to find a good pizza place. After trying a few different places, I discovered this one. Their pizza is excellent. I also order the rolls and Sicilian and found those to be good, too. Staff is quick and efficient. Not sure about the table service, but I always notice the tables are usually full. This was the worst dining experience of our lives. We waited over 25 minutes before anyone even came by. It took well over an hour to get my daughter's meal. The meals were all brought out at different times and one meal wasn't even warm. We politely voiced our concerns (after having to ask repeatedly for the check) and we were yelled at by management! This is one of my favorite pizza places! I have a wheat and shellfish allergy and they are very allergy-aware and sensitive. My husband and I love ordering their gluten-free old fashioned pizza and their gluten-free penne vodka. Also, their gluten free pizza is the closest to regular wheat thin sliced pizza. They get really busy on Friday nights and weekends, so I appreciate their honesty when they cannot guarantee cross-contact for meals prepared in the kitchen. Finally, I know it's odd to recommend from a pizza place, but their iced coffee is so good! Since I can't have their regular deserts this is my go-to treat. read more

So sad! I've been coming to this place for about 20 years. Today I was accused of not paying my bill. When I tried to let them know that I had indeed paid my bill I was told in a nasty tone that there was no transactions for my payment. When I got home I looked at my bank activity and saw that the payment did go through. I am truly disappoint in the way things were handled. I shouldn't have been chased down and yelled at. I'm giving this place a star (1) for it's automated service. (you call, and they have all your information already from previous orders). And dinning in it lets say "fair" at best. However..... There delivery pizza has gone down the tubs, way down! I'm talking cold cardboard. When we first moved in to town this place was decent, then about two years ago it started to deliver crap. Sorry... Seriously, we tried 4-5 additional times, thinking, "last time they must have been busy, lets give it another shot. NOPE, still sucked. Seriously, cold cardboard, thin dry, cold, with some sauce on it. So, that was almost two years ago, and we have been ordering from Harrison pizza since. My first one star review....not easy to do. Forget ordering for delivery from here....quoted 50 minutes (obscene in and of itself) and 1 hour and 35 minutes later, I'm still waiting. Went here last night. It has to be said pizza is pizza and the pizza is as good as anywhere else. The stand out for me is the Customer friendly service (always with a smile and helpfully). The location and environment is really a little upscale for a pizza house and the eat in is really very good, clean, great service and very enjoyable. We had Sicilian with wings and a jug of Stella. The Stella was $16 for 4 pints! Price vs food and experience 4 stars. read more

Food: There was a quiet a variety of food, but was slightly above average, but the thing that turned me off was the price in relation of the portion sizes. Beside the pizza, and wings, I ordered a Sauteed Broc Rabe, I ordered a large thinking it would be a decent amount. but what they gave me what looked like a small in my opinion. Pizza has gotten better, but in my opinion it does not live up to all the hype it has all over town. Wings were actually pretty good, better than I thought, it had a spicy taste to it, and the breading was nice and crisp. Overall, the food would be 6.5/10 Customer Service- I did not come in on a busy day, but I would say the customer service would be above average, something you would experience in a typical restaurant. 7/10 Overall, my experience was average. The food is great and the have excellent dough in the Pizzas and calzones. The bread is great on the subs. The restaurant is new, well designed for parties, and very clean. The prices are reasonable. The guys working are always attentive and friendly, which is unusaul for many pizza places. I used to eat at the original Rays when I lived on the UWS and this is better. read more

Have only been at lunch a few times, but I am very happy with selection and quality of slices. Particularly nice as an option to Rye, since there is free parking, no crowds and comfortable seating. We recently discovered the Grandma Pizza's which we are big fans of now. Garlic nots are good and super strong. Dinner pasta is good, strait forward pasta. Nothing fancy. Service is awesome with very fast deliveries and wait staff has been there for a while which is usually a good sign for a restaurant. Make sure you top off your diner with their chocolate chip cookies. They are best briefly warmed up in the microwave for 30 seconds. read more

After a long day of travel from many different directions, we decided that the best way to feed a group of adults and kids would be to order pizza. For 9 adults and 3 kids, the restaurant recommended 5 L pizzas, and we found that we had plenty of leftovers with 4 XL pizzas and 3 salads. Online pizza delivery was easy (with a 10% discount for my first order once I registered) and food arrived within 45 minutes after we ordered at 5:45pm on a Friday. The food is not inexpensive, but we liked the what we got. The crowd favorite was the extra-thin Sicilian crust Eggplant and Roasted Peppers Grandma pizza, and the Cheese + Pepperoni, Veggie, and White pizzas were pretty standard. We loved the Goat Cheese and Cobb salads, but there was less enthusiasm for the Walnut salad. read more

Love these guys! Huge selection of pizza, calzones, pizza rolls, wings, subs, wraps, salads, etc.. On a recent multi-week stayover in NY, I've eaten here at least half a dozen times. Food was hot, fresh and delicious every time. We're not talking gourmet Italian here, but definitely down-home solid tasty fixings. Pizza is pizza is pizza, but these guys are on top of their game. Favorites? The grandma pizza. Spinach calzone. Steak and cheese pizza. Cobb salad. And Carlos. He's the bomb. The rest of the staff is professional and friendly, too. This place is busy on weekday nights, so plan ahead. There were a few times that I ordered online for delivery, but decided to pick up instead since delivery times were long. Came here again bc i thought I would give them another chance. We ordered the jalapeno poppers which was just okay, nothing special. Then we ordered a large stuffed pie which was a bit of a disappointment. Two issues I had was do not put broccoli Rabe in it, the reason is it makes the inside of the pizza watery. Second issue I had was the cheese was not mixed well with the meats and vegetables. So when you first open up the stuffed pizza only the front part of the slice has plenty of cheese. When you get from the middle to the end of the slice there is little or no cheese. Inside the pie the vegetables just needed some flavor, it did taste a bit bland. The last thing I need to talk about is that the marinara sauce just had a weird taste at the end. It tasted a bit sour, maybe it's my taste buds who knows Another issue I had was we had two different waiters, so one waiter we ordered the pizza along with the app. The second waiter came back and asked if we ready, I stated to the waiter that someone already came and took our order. So there is a lack of communication happening at the restaurant. I will be back again but probably try another different type of pizza. I hope the owner definitely takes up my advice about taking the broccoli Rabe out of the stuffed pizza, and addressing the staff to communicate with each other better. This pizza is delicious. I am a nurse in the area and my coworkers and I often order from here. Yesterday was the anniversary of my kidney transplant and my husband wanted to surprise me with a pizza party for myself and fellow nurses. He called this past Friday to ask if he needed to call in advance. The person who answered the phone was pretty rude and made a comment about my husband calling during the "dinner rush" at 4pm. Perhaps there is an early bird dinner special we were unaware of? Yesterday, he called and ordered 7 pizzas to have delivered and the person who answered the phone was rude and impatient again. My husband was asking for the logistics of the delivery when the man huffed and said, "we deliver there all the time!" Perhaps a listening comprehension issue since that wasn't what my husband was asking. When the pizza arrived, my coworkers were raving about how thoughtful my husband had been to feed all of us-$200 dollars later. The pizza is above average. Usually when I go, I get the buffalo slice which always lives up to my expectations. Pizza 2000 also gets very busy. A lot of people are what's eating inside with their family's and there are a lot of people catering in the back of the restaurant. You can take your food to go and it's always convenient.
