AH-MAZING!!! The best pizza, food, and happiest chefs in town! Always delicious and a very clean restaurant!

Full disclosure...I was in the mood for sushi. I found a Japanese restaurant that happens to be right around the corner from Sunrise Pizza. Sadly, the sushi joint is closed on Tuesdays. Let's hear it for happy accidents! I love old school pizzeria's with all different kinds of slices behind the counter...one looking better than the next. I spied the grandma pizza and had to have it. Two slices, in fact. Thinking that might not be enough (since I didn't really eat today), I ordered one of the salad slices to try and be "good". I'm so fat and happy right now. These folks make really good pizza. Sauce, crust...everything is exactly what it should be. I wolfed it all down there like the hangry mojo that I was and watched a steady stream of regulars picking up orders. Clearly, they know what they're doing!! Can I have some more, please?

The pizzeria is in downtown Rye with mostly street parking, but there is a small lot to the side. The place is small but is clean and well maintained. The staff were very nice dudes and knew other customers by name. Everyone knows the rules, when you try a pizzeria for the first time, you need to try a plain slice. I got the plain slice and a sausage slice. The tomato sauce was a nice balance between sweet and acidic. The dough wasn't anything special but the crust was crispy and thin. I usually prefer the sliced sausage but the crumbled on this pizza worked. I was very turned off by the price. Two slices came out to almost $10, absurd. The employees are nice and the restaurant seems well maintained. The pizza was better than average but I won't make a special trip for it. For the price I wouldn't come back.

The workers here are absolute sweethearts. There aren't any harder working people here than Sunrise. I think our first time here was literally 7 years ago, same day -- valentine's day weekend lol. We had such a good experience here. Great food, amazing pizza and the service here is literally *chefs kiss*. They have such a variety of food here that there's something for everyone. My favorite would be anything that's a white pizza and their pepperoni pizza rolls are top notch. If you are ever in the area, PLEASE support this cute shop. Everything is delicious and the workers are amazingly sweet. If that's not great than I'm not sure what is!

Rye legends. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PIZZA. Even after living in the city (nyc) , this spot still reigns supreme. They have a variety of yummy slices but their plain is superb. I'm also a fan of their tomato garlic and salad slice. They have a full menu that extends beyond pizza that is also delicious. You'd be surprised how good the chicken scarpariello and the broccolini are here. I think I probably go here every weekend.

Good pizza in the Rye area. Good selection of slices. Parking can be a pain when stopping in for a slice

One of my favorite pizza places. The grandma is too addictive with the perfect crust and sauce! The service is also always friendly.

One of the best pizza places around. Pizza is a little pricier than other places, but it's consistently great so I think it's worth it.

They also offer an enclosed atrium area, which seemed like a quieter option--but the heat was a bit too high for us, so we chose to sit inside. It was quite loud, so next time I would try the atrium area near the entrance for a more comfortable noise level. One of the highlights right away was the complimentary antipasto: a nice plate of mixed cheeses, olives, and sliced salami, along with a basket of bread. The thin, crispy salted bread was seriously addictive--so good! Paired well with our Aperol Spritz. We started by splitting the fried zucchini flower blossoms stuffed with ricotta, served over tomato sauce. You get two per order; they were good. For entrées, my friend ordered the Pollo Fino--strips of chicken breast topped with asparagus, shrimp, and mushrooms in a white wine citrus sauce. It came with four jumbo shrimp, and she said it was incredibly good. I had the Pappardelle alla Boschiola with prosciutto di Parma and green peas in a pink sauce. It was a generous portion and very tasty. I later noticed the menu included mushrooms, which didn't seem to be in my dish, but I did not catch it at the time. We finished by sharing the Napoleon dessert--my friend had raved about it. The flavor was good, and our server nicely split it for us, but the pastry layers were quite crunchy, making it challenging to eat. Overall, a fun atmosphere with tasty food. They have a big parking lot offering valet service.

I usually just go with the flow if people pick it. So, I was PLEASANTLY surprised when everything was INSANE. We ordered so much food because I needed to try as much as possible. Caesar Salad: huge leaves, delightful dressing, tangy lemon sets it off, light, crunchy croutons Arancini: incredible balls of rice that were fried to perfection, topped with cheese, on a bed of cheese sauce? Divine Burrata: solid piece of toast, nice lighter dish Focaccia: SOFT. BUTTERY. The Calabrian chili butter was sweet but spicy, the whipped ricotta was a nice lighter option Meatballs: OMG, the crispiest meatballs I've had even though it was topped with sauce, so juicy and flavorful. Gimme 16 of these. Potato Croquettes: on their own they were good but the sauce they were in made them GREAT. Chicken cutlet: THIN. CRISPY. HUGE. had flaky salt on time. The perfect cutlet. Rigatoni: Al dente, classic pasta dish The place was dark and moody - perfect for a date night. The service was fast. Our waiter was amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The sauce reminded me of my favorite dish from when I was in Italy. The pasta also tasted like it was homemade. I would eat the pasta everyday, it was that good! The portion sizes were also great. Definitely recommend for your next date night.

On a random Friday night, me and the Mrs stumbled into George's Steakhouse, and I'm gonna tell you…read moreright now, I'm glad we did. The vibes, aura, and ambiance were all on point. A1 staff, A1 service. Now let's get to the food. We started the night the right way with grilled shrimp and French onion soup both crazy. And if there's a ribeye on the menu, I'm ordering it every time. This one did not disappoint: perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, with the best fucking sear I've had in a minute. For sides, I went with the home fries cooked in duck fat with chives. The fries were so good I wanted to attend the funeral of whatever duck they used, out of pure respect. Can't wait to go back and work through the rest of the menu. No complaints. Zero misses.

When an impromptu date night arises, you know I have to jump at the chance! With no dinner…read morereservations, or any idea of where we were headed, Joe and I drove around Port Chester until we spotted this cute restaurant right on the Greenwich border. I saw "steakhouse" and thought "let's give it a try", and I'm so happy we did. Every point of service was handled perfectly. We were greeted and sat immediately, and my eyes gleamed as they looked over the menu. Nothing but the hits! As it was a cold and snowy day, I decided to start with the French onion soup. Broiled to perfection! Joe began with the grilled shrimp and those babies were HUGE. For my entree I decided to go with the linguini with clams. I'm usually a little cautious to order this but it was clearly the right choice. There was so much flavor and love put into the plate; I made sure to leave some for leftovers so I could experience it again later. I also ordered the brussel sprouts with bacon; once again, no notes. Joe had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection, but to be honest, the star of the night were the duck fat home fries. They were just French fries (fried perfectly, might I add) cooked in duck fat and onions. I mean, quite literally the perfect side for the steak (and every thing else we had at the table). We had no room for dessert but I ordered an espresso and when the bill came I was pleasantly surprised! Such a delicious meal & incredible service, that didn't break the bank! We will definitely be back and I can't wait to bring some friends!
