This Bronx girl, who knows good pizza, has been transplanted to Boston and has been missing that slice of heaven that only NYC can deliver. I happened to be in Harrison for a celebration of life, and was happy to see this place located right across the street from the funeral home. My husband and I went in hoping to find a quick slice before heading back to Boston, and this spot did not disappoint! The slices were varied and heated to perfection (code for piping hot) and the crust crispy and oh so delish. The spot was clean, had plenty of seating, and the staff could not have been nicer. Even my husband was thrilled and kept going back to sample a new flavor. For $5 a slice, it couldn't be beat. If I find myself back in the area, I would definitely return. read more

We didn't mind waiting and were able to get our order 15 minutes later. Got home to find that 2 out of the 7 slices were missing and 2 of them were not what we ordered. We went here for dinner and the storefront restaurant was so dirty. The owner, the manager and staff are incredibly arrogant and rude to their customers as if they are all having a nervous breakdown or something. Their pizza and food has deteriorated terribly. Greasy pizza with acidic sauce and overcooked crust. The garlic in all the dishes is burnt black making the food disgusting. Solid local pizza place & restaurant. Have been going here for for years and can't ever think of a bad experience. It all starts with the service. The owner, John, is always around and eager to greet you or even sit down next to you and chit chat for a few. The staff are all very helpful and efficient at their job. The food is quality as well. They have tons of pizzas from which you can grab a slice or you can, of course, order a whole pie if you have enough companions with you. I've had several of their wraps & pizza rolls and Greek salad with chicken and they have always been top notch and well assembled. Order one of the soups and they'll gladly offer you warm, crusty bread to accompany it. Plenty of beverages from which you can choose as well. To boot, the restaurant and all facilities are well maintained and clean. I have eaten a few very late lunches and witnessed the staff do a thorough cleaning mid-day (and not just at the end of the night). They also have several flat screens throughout, in case you want to watch something while you wait or dine. A party room in the back is available for larger groups or any events you want to hold there. Great place for anyone and they are super friendly toward and popular with kids. If you like selection, cleanliness, friendliness, and fair prices, give Pizza2000 a try. If there is a demerit to give it's that delivery sometimes takes a little long (because they are extremely busy and popular in the area) so don't be shocked if hot food you order isn't super hot by the time it reaches you. Came here yesterday! I had the chicken parmigiana pizza and the fettuccine caprice. The chicken parm pizza was really good. I ordered a small which is 14 inches. It's a solid chicken parm pizza. It came really quickly too. The fettuccine caprice is really heavy. It's a thick creamy tomato sauce (there's a lot of it). It's a very flavorful pasta, topped with lots of sausage and chicken.
