    Elvis Table

Popped in town for a basketball tournament and happened across Pixie's as it was close to the hotel. This place has a real "Pink Cadillac" kind of feel (Elvis sitting in a booth, Marilyn Monroe, old school photos and clippings). The aesthetic is really cool! We wound up getting the coney dogs with all the works and fries. The hot dogs were okay, but their fries are REALLY really good. The customer service was on point. Note: They have board games in the dining area, so if you find your order taking a little while, you can play cards or fire up a mean game of Sorry.

Fun experience! We absolutely love the energy and theme of the place. Both sandwich and burger were not that great, but the cheese and fries were amazing! We will be back to try other foods. Shout out to an employee named Nick! He was wonderful and patient with me for being our first time here. Great attitude and friendly.

I loved this place! The atmosphere and decor were amazing! The menu was fine, typical burgers and coneys you would expect at a diner. You order at the counter, self serve fountain pop and they bring your food to your table! The decor is what lured me in! Loved the old school diner vibe and how they decorated! Very nostalgic! I had the coneys and fries, my friends got burgers and fries! All was tasty, the fries were amazing! Yummy and so crispy! Prices were very reasonable! It's a must go to when in Mt. Pleasant!

Ordered the Famous Pixie Coney. It looks famous for upsetting half of Mt Pleasant. The wrap took half of the chili off. :(

I really liked this place. Their food and shakes were yummy. However, not ideal for people on a diet.

I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that. It was delicious There are several items on the menu that I have to try. I took a few pictures of the Spring menu and I've added them below. The gulf shrimp is on my radar and I need to try the venison burger. I just need to get past the gyro lamb burger with tzatziki. It's just so good.

They were also doing a deal on their mocktails for dry January, which I thought was cool. The menu is pretty varied with lots of options for meat-eaters--I wouldn't come here if you're vegan or vegetarian. Entrees get a bit pricey (their steak frites is $49), but sandwiches are around $15-$18 and come with fries. I ordered the pesto chicken wrap with a side of mac and cheese instead of fries. My friend got the chicken and chorizo nachos and we decided to split them half and half. Our food came out quickly and looked really good! The wrap was tasty but I couldn't really taste the pistachio pesto. The mac and cheese was incredible--super cheesy, perfectly cooked cavatappi noodles, and very flavorful. I'm really glad I upgraded to that and would even consider getting the full entree size in the future. The nachos were pretty loaded, and a generous portion. I liked all the toppings but didn't really taste much chorizo. These would be a good starter for a group. Overall a very good experience and I would come back.

The staff was very friendly and on top of things. Our waitress was warm and welcoming with just enough attentiveness without being overly intrusive. She was also accommodating to my beverage choice dilemma. Thank you! The food was all delicious. We split the Ruben with onion rings ($3 up charge). The Ruben might be one of the best we remember. The flavor was great, it was not greasy or soggy from too much toppings. The onion rings were also very crispy without being burnt. The coating was thin and fully covered the onion. We also shared the Ruben egg rolls and they were delicious as well. The only thing is they were two egg rolls cut into 6 pieces, which seemed a bit pricey. If you want a Ruben, you might just want to do the sandwich. The beverages were reasonably priced with a good variety to choose from. The inside was clean and they have plenty of seating. They have some unique seating arrangements and a small game area. They also appear to have an outdoor area, which was only used for the patrons who smoked as it was too cold to sit outside. We are definitely going to be going back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our server was really sweet and gave us plenty of time to catch up and browse the menu. We started with an order of cabin sticks, which are cheese filled breadsticks. Their ranch is famous apparently (you can get a giant container of it to take home), and it was pretty tasty. I liked that the cabin sticks were cut into chunks so it was easy to share with the group. Nate and I got the classic pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, onions, black olives, and mushrooms. Our food came out quickly and the pizza was completely covered with toppings! The crust was thicker than I typically prefer, but it was needed to hold up all those toppings. The sauce wasn't too sweet and the medium size was perfect for us to have some left over for the next day. If you're craving pizza, definitely check out The Cabin!

In the past I've enjoyed Domino's thin crust. Pisanello's offers thin and thin crispy, so I ordered the crispy, which was less crispy than Domino's thin. Their cheese tastes okay, but there's not enough of it. Their pepperoni looked different than any I've ever seen--no color variation for flavorful fat; this is solid brown, perhaps healthier, but almost tasteless. The black olives were plentiful, which is the only reason they got 2 stars. Their driver was polite & pleasant; but for $28 w/tip for a 14" pizza, I really expected better.

There were many options within a 5 mile radius so I narrowed down by distance, pizza! Of course, I used my trusty Yelp app and Pisanello's Pizza was Elite Yelpers favorite choice. When it comes to pizzas, ingredients make the cut, not just ingredients FRESH INGREDIENTS is the key! I arrived and I spot the EZ charging station in the parking lot with lots of free parking, which includes lots of free parking. The pizza restaurant sits on a nice touristy neighborhood and well kept area I might add. I immediately notice the menu sign and was amused with the buffet price with water, we the people be on a budget :)) I used the coupons on the front counter to make my order, we the people like coupons and I decided on the medium 3 topping pizza for $13.60 and a side salad. A nice, PATIENT fella took my order and I needed specific information about the salad ingredients, 1 which was the type of tomato's they offer (I don't like cherry tomatoes). I took a seat at a booth that was just wiped which again was a plus, that says a lot because small restaurants seem neglect cleanness. I look at my receipt when my order arrived a very short time later and I noticed I wasn't charged the coupon price. I asked the lady which I later identified as Courtney the manager, I inquired about the price difference and she explained thin crispy was xtra. Ok, np I said but it would be nice for the fella to mention that up front especially since you have a chalkboard with the buffet price with water. As I'm walking out wanting to hurry back to my hotel to eat my pizza nice and hot, something came to mind "They will refund the pizza if I'm not satisfied ". So, I go back in to discuss. Me: Courtney, if I don't like my pizza you'll refund the pizza CORRECT? Courtney: Yes Me: Well, I think that I should get the up charge refunded for the crisp crust..don't you agree? Courtney: (With a smile) Yeah, you're right. Instead of Courtney refunding me the up charge for the pizza, she refunded me the price for the ENTIRE pizza. THAT'S what I'm talking about!! An honest business!! Customer satisfaction!! The pizza was DA BOMB, fruuuush ingredients, the salad was FRUSH( not fresh FRUSH) crispy crunchy lettuce, they took their time and diced my tomatoes and added shredded cheese. Luvit luvit luuuvit!! Do i recommend this business ABSOLUTELY!! Worth eating the pork, raising my blood pressure and add calories. Yuuuuup, fart excuse me again:)) Here Today. There Tomorrow.
