I was definitely expecting to taste some original real pizzeria pizza as this is the place compared to Pisanello's. For Pizza King, I was just average generic pizza nothing too special about them to make me go back. It was good & I will give them that but not really much of a flavorful pizza and lots of grease.

    Extra large pepperoni pizza.

Pizza King was one of Mt. Pleasant's first pizzerias, established back in 1962. While Pisanello's is my favorite pizza spot in town, Pizza King makes the top three alongside The Cabin. If you're looking for the best value from a local pizza place, Pizza King is tough to beat (you can get an XL pizza and an order of cheese sticks for about the same price as an XL Pisanello's pizza alone). Good sauce, a nice crust with just the right amount of crunch and an all around good pizza. It may not look like much from the outside of the building, but it's what's inside the pizza box that counts and Pizza King is a solid choice if you're looking for some tasty non-chain pizza in Mt. Pleasant. And for those non-pizza lovers, fear not: you have your pick of a number of tasty subs. The quality is good (comparable to a Mancino's grinder), with the $5.99 lunch combo being a great deal.

    Looks good!

Read some great reviews and saw some yummy pics and decided to stop. 4 stars becuase we wish their pizza had more sauce and when they give you sauce it would be warm.

We have lived in Mt. Pleasant for probably 11 years and I'd never had Pizza King. We decided on a whim to have something different and searched for the best pizza in town. We saw them on the list and are SO glad we tried them! FAST, friendly and yummy!

This is like the real life Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pizza. Sooooo good!

Got a great gluten free pizza while charging up my car during a recent trip. The staff was also very welcoming.

On the outside it looks like a hole in the wall but the pizza is amazing. I would recommend it but it's not my favorite pizza place in town.

In the past I've enjoyed Domino's thin crust. Pisanello's offers thin and thin crispy, so I ordered the crispy, which was less crispy than Domino's thin. Their cheese tastes okay, but there's not enough of it. Their pepperoni looked different than any I've ever seen--no color variation for flavorful fat; this is solid brown, perhaps healthier, but almost tasteless. The black olives were plentiful, which is the only reason they got 2 stars. Their driver was polite & pleasant; but for $28 w/tip for a 14" pizza, I really expected better.

There were many options within a 5 mile radius so I narrowed down by distance, pizza! Of course, I used my trusty Yelp app and Pisanello's Pizza was Elite Yelpers favorite choice. When it comes to pizzas, ingredients make the cut, not just ingredients FRESH INGREDIENTS is the key! I arrived and I spot the EZ charging station in the parking lot with lots of free parking, which includes lots of free parking. The pizza restaurant sits on a nice touristy neighborhood and well kept area I might add. I immediately notice the menu sign and was amused with the buffet price with water, we the people be on a budget :)) I used the coupons on the front counter to make my order, we the people like coupons and I decided on the medium 3 topping pizza for $13.60 and a side salad. A nice, PATIENT fella took my order and I needed specific information about the salad ingredients, 1 which was the type of tomato's they offer (I don't like cherry tomatoes). I took a seat at a booth that was just wiped which again was a plus, that says a lot because small restaurants seem neglect cleanness. I look at my receipt when my order arrived a very short time later and I noticed I wasn't charged the coupon price. I asked the lady which I later identified as Courtney the manager, I inquired about the price difference and she explained thin crispy was xtra. Ok, np I said but it would be nice for the fella to mention that up front especially since you have a chalkboard with the buffet price with water. As I'm walking out wanting to hurry back to my hotel to eat my pizza nice and hot, something came to mind "They will refund the pizza if I'm not satisfied ". So, I go back in to discuss. Me: Courtney, if I don't like my pizza you'll refund the pizza CORRECT? Courtney: Yes Me: Well, I think that I should get the up charge refunded for the crisp crust..don't you agree? Courtney: (With a smile) Yeah, you're right. Instead of Courtney refunding me the up charge for the pizza, she refunded me the price for the ENTIRE pizza. THAT'S what I'm talking about!! An honest business!! Customer satisfaction!! The pizza was DA BOMB, fruuuush ingredients, the salad was FRUSH( not fresh FRUSH) crispy crunchy lettuce, they took their time and diced my tomatoes and added shredded cheese. Luvit luvit luuuvit!! Do i recommend this business ABSOLUTELY!! Worth eating the pork, raising my blood pressure and add calories. Yuuuuup, fart excuse me again:)) Here Today. There Tomorrow.

Our server was really sweet and gave us plenty of time to catch up and browse the menu. We started with an order of cabin sticks, which are cheese filled breadsticks. Their ranch is famous apparently (you can get a giant container of it to take home), and it was pretty tasty. I liked that the cabin sticks were cut into chunks so it was easy to share with the group. Nate and I got the classic pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, onions, black olives, and mushrooms. Our food came out quickly and the pizza was completely covered with toppings! The crust was thicker than I typically prefer, but it was needed to hold up all those toppings. The sauce wasn't too sweet and the medium size was perfect for us to have some left over for the next day. If you're craving pizza, definitely check out The Cabin!

We met up on a weekday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The booth we sat in was comfy and spacious. The menu is pretty typical brewpub fare, with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc. We started with the Hunter's sticks, which are cheese stuffed breadsticks, served with ranch and marinara. These came out first and I liked that they were cut into pieces for easy sharing. The breadsticks were a bit harder than I might have preferred (I was hoping for something closer to a soft Bosco stick) but they were still tasty. The ranch was particularly delicious. For dinner I ordered the steakhouse salad, medium rare. Nate got the Cajun chicken club sandwich and our friend got a crispy chicken wrap. The sandwiches and wraps come with either chips or fries, and our server told us that there's no up charge for fries, which is nice and not that typical. This is also a brewery so Nate tried a couple of their beers and seemed to like them. They also have a full bar. The food was quite tasty! I liked the salad although it was pretty salty, probably the bleu cheese dressing. There was a generous amount of steak and it was cooked nicely. I had a couple bites of Nate's sandwich and I thought it had great flavor. Overall this is a nice neighborhood spot that I'd come back to, since their menu is pretty large and it seems like there's something for everyone.
