Pickle Pizza
Maureen B.

First time to this Pizza restaurant within the Mount Pleasant area. What drew us to this place was the pickle pizza. This was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. If you love dill pickles, this is for you. The service was amazing and our food came quickly. It was not busy the day we arrived. A must try if you love pickle pizza, bar food, and a great beer selection. Will return back again.

First time here. Have to say very glad our 2 year old wanted pizza. Otherwise, I don't think we would have stopped here. The energy in the place is amazing. The music isn't too loud but loud enough to enjoy. Shout out to our waitress Chloe she is absolutely amazing! Love her energy as soon as she stepped up to our table. Her look is unforgettable. Her attitude was amazing . She was amazing overall. She was great with our daughter. She was spot on with helping with our food options. We had an amazing time. We had the breadsticks. They were warm, fluffy, soft, perfectly buttered, and seasoned. Our daughter had the kids' pepperoni pizza, and she loved it. My fiance and I shared the jalapeño popper pizza and the honey pepperoni pizza. Again, Chloe offered an amazing idea of adding spicy honey onto our honey pizza, and it was the best!

WOW WOW WOW! So yummy!! This was top 10 best pizza I have EVER ate! The pepperoni was crispy and flavorful, the honey was the perfect amount of sweetness and the tomato sauce was a bit spicy which made for the perfect combination! The ranch was also delicious! I wanted to turn the car around and go pick up another 10 pizzas! Workers were quick and organized! So DELICIOUS!

Large 2 topping; pepperoni and black olive

We ordered pickup for two pizzas and went in early for a draft each while we waited. They have a large selection of drinks on tap. They were both delicious after a long week. The Philly Steak & Cheese Pizza is exceptionally flavorful! We also had a pepperoni and black olive for the kiddos, and it was good, minus they thought the pepperoni was overly crispy. Staff was very helpful and friendly, making sure our party of 3 doing the pickup was well taken care of. Great atmosphere, the music was pleasant and we will definitely return!

Pickle pizza, ham and onions added

Hands down some of the best pizza Ive eaten in Michigan. We ordered 4 different personal pizzas so we could try a variety and were not disappointed. The two that stood out the most were the margherita pizza and the pickle....yes, pickle pizza. I dislike sliced or chunky tomatoes but went outside my comfort zone and the margherita was so fresh tasting with the basil and mozzarella cheese, i loved it! Our server talked us into adding ham and onion to the pickle pizza and it worked. I was leary too, but the flavors really blend and i would order it again for sure. Bread stick were soft, garlicky, and delicious. We came on a Friday and there was no wait. If i lived closer this would definitely be one of my favorite places to eat, but for now Im keeping it on my list for the next time I pass through town. Youre missing out if you dont stop by.

We came here for Zoodles and they ran out!! But I'll admit the food was super-good!! We had a pizza, breadsticks, and one pizza bake. Service wasn't great but the food was worth it.

Lots of draft beer that rotates often. Delicious pizza and awesome breadsticks. I also love that they have touch tunes. :)

A friend who lives in the area recommended this spot for dinner after I finished a shift working at…read moreCMU. We met up on a weekday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The booth we sat in was comfy and spacious. The menu is pretty typical brewpub fare, with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc. We started with the Hunter's sticks, which are cheese stuffed breadsticks, served with ranch and marinara. These came out first and I liked that they were cut into pieces for easy sharing. The breadsticks were a bit harder than I might have preferred (I was hoping for something closer to a soft Bosco stick) but they were still tasty. The ranch was particularly delicious. For dinner I ordered the steakhouse salad, medium rare. Nate got the Cajun chicken club sandwich and our friend got a crispy chicken wrap. The sandwiches and wraps come with either chips or fries, and our server told us that there's no up charge for fries, which is nice and not that typical. This is also a brewery so Nate tried a couple of their beers and seemed to like them. They also have a full bar. The food was quite tasty! I liked the salad although it was pretty salty, probably the bleu cheese dressing. There was a generous amount of steak and it was cooked nicely. I had a couple bites of Nate's sandwich and I thought it had great flavor. Overall this is a nice neighborhood spot that I'd come back to, since their menu is pretty large and it seems like there's something for everyone.

You can bet on sports with the kiosks they have in the bar area. The menu was definitely sports bar in nature with lots of draft beers, cocktails and "bar" food like wings, ribs, cheese curds and other stuff you'd find at a Sports Themed Establishment. The cheese curds were pretty good and there was mustard at the table for dipping. The Bourbon BBQ ribs were fall off the bone tender with a nice sweet BBQ sauce. Service was just OK with nothing to write home about. More mechanical than welcoming. Prices were decent for what you got, especially at a "resort".

We had news from one of the guys in our group that they had a killer buffet and we were ready to win all our money back there, but like my grandpa, Covid took the buffet away. So we all agreed on Ascend because the prices looked pretty decent. I really dug the look of the place. Classy, up to date, good lighting, clean. Not a super sports dude, but I didn't even mind the tvs showing all the sports things. It was done tastefully. We sat near the stage but weren't there for any of the live music. I'm sure that would have been pretty great. 10/10 Ok, look. I'm a little hungry hungry hippo. I like my food. I was hungry as our schedule forced our hand to skip lunch, short of gas station snacks on the way to the casino. So when it was food time, I was ready. The issue was that they had so many good looking apps. But I'm also a problem solver, so I ordered three of them. I love fried pickles. I find the best ones are the spears over the slices. That being said, the pickle friend were a must. Not disappointed. The spicy aoli they give you for dipping, *chef's kiss*. They were perfectly golden and not overly breaded. 10/10 I've been on a "get as many wings as you can into your belly" kick, so naturally I ordered the ten (10) bone in wings with their sweet chili sauce. These things were surprisingly large and well breaded. A lot more than I thought they would have been. The sauce was *chef's hug*. I did have a little difficult time distinguishing wing breading from wing meat. So I'm not really sure if they were large because of the breading or because of their meat. 9/10 My third and final appetizer were the mini beef tacos. I have never had these outside of a gas station, so I was surprised to see them on a menu, as I don't think I've ever even seen them on a menu. They came on a plate covered in a type of slaw/relish type situation. No big deal. I'm an adult, I can scrape it off. They ended up being pretty damn delicious. Much beefier than the ones you end up getting while putting $20 on pump 6. 10/10 For my meal I ordered the fish and chips because who doesn't like fish and chips? Came with slaw, seasoned fries, homemade tartar, and two nice size chunks of fish. The fish were good sized, loved the breading they used, and the flavor was *chef's pat on the shoulder*. The fries were chonky and seasoned wonderfully. Only thing that would have been a little better was one more piece of fish for the price and possibly the slaw in its own little container. Nobody likes slaw juice in their fries. 8.5/10
