I'm going to have to reiterate what others have said before, the customer service here is second to none. Its the little things honestly. When attempting to trade in some games he provided a pencil, paper, and calculator instead of trying to high-pressure sell you into a transaction you aren't really comfortable with. I love the interesting and un-sterile decorations. Mostly I just love the cheerful attitude of the owner who absolutely knows the key to forming long-term relationships with his customers. Armando is a really cool guy and is really honest, once you walk in he is not like other owners who just say " What do you want?" he greets you with acutal kindness and is ready to help. He has that cool big brother vibe feel who knows his stuff. I bought Double Dash from him and he gave me a discount for a first time buyer and totally my fault I didn't see the disc had a small dent and once I told him about it he helped me out and gave a replacement. He doesn't rush you to buy you something or rushes you to leave he is honestly awesome to talk too. His selection of games is good and He'll help you out to find a game he doesn't have in store. Pixel Vault Games far exceeded my expectations in service and attitude. The owner, Armando, was very helpful to me. I came in after looking around Yelp for a place to fix my Nintendo 3DS XL which had a broken volume slider. A repair shop at Frank n Sons Collectible quoted me $75-85, while Video Game Geeks told me it would be $40 and would take over a week. Armando was very considerate of my situation ( I was rushing from work, sitting on the 10 freeway bumper-to-bumper in order to reach his shop before he closed.) and he offered me directions to his store as I was not familiar with the area either. He had my 3DS repaired in less than 5 minutes and though he initially quoted me $20 on the repair, he only charged me 5. We chatted about games for a little bit while I browsed the store and I noticed that he had a copy of Luigis Mansion for the Gamecube that I have been looking for for a satisfactory price. Though I initially only planned to fix my 3DS, the owner was so friendly and helpful, that I also picked up Luigis Mansion as well. I would highly recommend this shop! It was definitely worth the drive. The owner is super chill, a gaming enthusiast, and most importantly, a great guy. read more
