Wow was I surprised, This little nerd dungeon was probably the best thing we discovered. Lots of open table, the person working the register was also playing games. He greeted us right when we walked in made sure to let us know that he was willing to help just ask. We came here to get in a few games of magic the gathering, and wow they have lands available for drafting. A large library of singles for sales, commons, uncommons and the rare and mythicals sitting in the display case. Although their prices are about 10 percent ish higher than online prices please keep in mind it supports the store and gives us a place to play. Make sure you buy something anything even if it's small to show some support for small table top gaming shops like this. PSA: they carry some board games, and they have a warhammer room in the back. Also 2 gender neutral restrooms.

Hello, I've been to…read morethis comic book shop a few times. I like the selection and the layout is really user friendly. I'm rather new to comic collecting and I've been trying to keep my collection growing, but because I'm new to the hobby I don't always know how things work so I try to ask questions to the workers at the stores I visit. The store has one person who is honestly kind of rude. He is an older bald white guy. I've interacted with him a few times in the past briefly but I always felt he was kinda short and rude with me in comparison to how he interacts with other guests . I thought maybe I am overthinking the interaction so I always just let it slide and kept coming back. I told my partner briefly about this and he even agreed that maybe it could be me over thinking. I went in with my partner and this time I asked a question to the cashier about comic releases and the rude guy interjected and made condescending comments about me not knowing how releases work and overall made me feel really stupid. His whole energy just makes me feel like I'm not welcome and that I'm less than because I'm new to the comic hobby. When we left the store my partner immediately was like "is that the guy that is always rude to you?" I don't think I will come back to this store again because of how rude and unprofessional that guy is. He just really lacks customer service skills.

Let me start off by saying it's clear a lot of people love this place. Tables were packed with…read moreongoing games, plenty of people were coming in to browse and make purchases, and the cutest dog was trotting around. That being said, I don't think I'll be returning. I'll explain why. A concern of mine is being a woman in a predominantly male hobby. I've recently gotten back into Pokemon and was hoping to find a nice, welcoming card shop locally. Saw this place on social media and decided to give it a try. To the shop's credit, the man at the register was nice to me and I felt welcomed. When I asked if they do trades, the man told me they do if it's anything worth more than $1. Cool, my cards are worth more than that! However, he then passed me over to an older gentleman to inspect my cards. This gentleman was talking to a male customer and had been for some time. I didn't want to disturb, so I stood there quietly waiting my turn. Soon enough, the older gentleman took maybe two or three seconds to eye my cards over. Didn't price check. Just told me they aren't interested and dismissed me pretty bluntly. He immediately continued talking with the male customer he'd previously been chatting with. It felt like he was bothered by me being there. In turn, I felt like I was a waste of space in the shop. I'm okay being rejected, but the way I was talked to/handled made me feel unwelcomed. I finished my purchase and promptly left, feeling a little icky about my experience. I'd wanted to make this my go-to shop, but I don't know if I feel comfortable going back. I don't expect special treatment as a woman, but I would at least like basic decency. I also don't post this review lightly. I just want to give a heads up to other women thinking of checking out the shop, especially if you're going alone or with other women. I think that maybe if I was with a man or even a man myself, the older gentleman would've treated me a little better. At the very least, I hope young women going into the shop have a much better experience than I did. I truly hope I am a one-off moment.
