I had a Crate & Barrel storage bed that required disassembly and reassembly. The movers refused at first, saying, "we're movers, not handymen." After about an hour of delaying, they attempted to disassemble it and broke the bed. I've moved cross-state twice with this same bed and never had issues before. At the destination they couldn't put the bed back together, so I filed a claim (see attached photos). It took 22 emails and 12 months to get a $500 refund, which the company called a "goodwill" payment. They ignored key facts in my original claim, including the market value of the broken bed ($2,000) and that they had failed to use the local shuttle service they had promised (a $1,170 value). The refund check arrived late and included a barely legible note requiring me to deposit it within seven days to release them from any future claims. When I asked for clarification, the representative replied rudely that it was "legible to read and understand" and insisted I deposit within seven days. In my experience, this company's staff and movers were unprofessional and unethical. Photos and documentation are attached.

The 2 people that run this facility are absolutely amazing. Sanda is such a peach. Very easy to work with and talk to. One of the things that really stuck out for me was when I was in her office, there was another customer that came to the gate and she was punching in her code wrong. Sanda was able to see who it was, called that customer by name through the intercom, and advised she should enter it again. Knowing each customer like that adds such a personal touch. It really warms my heart. During one of my trips I noticed Alex in the front watering the garden. He stopped and waved to me, it felt like home. I will continue to recommend this storage facility to my friends, family and fellow yelpers :D

I contacted the Waterfront Guardian and Heath assisted me in scheduling a time to cut the old lock off and install a new one. Heath has always been very cordial, helpful, and reliable. It's reassuring to see how much pride he takes in the facility: 1) the signage is very clear; 2) the entire facility is impeccably clean and well maintained; and 3) Heath goes "above and beyond" consistently. He has excellent communication and customer service skills. I strongly recommend this storage option. They offer very reasonable insurance for your belongings and also have excellent locks for sale which are customer friendly and can be customized to your own pin. Definitely five stars!

Drawers no longer close, mirror broke, grandfather clock moved without being wrapped. They quoted a price for a 2 room tiny apartment, stating 3.5 hours at most. They began at 9:00am and finished at 7:00pm!!! They took numerous cigarette breaks and turned off elevators and used this as an excuse to be there 10hours. They were paid by the hour! They have threatened to file legal charges against me. Beware. READ all of the reviews!
