The day before, a member of the company met me at the storage unit, and said I needed to do nothing. The next day, a 3-man team showed up within 15 minutes of the expected time, and within 2 hours everything was loaded onto the truck. Once the truck was weighed, I got a call that the move would cost me $700 less -- when does that happen? Eight days later, the truck, and the same crew arrived on a Saturday at 7:59 AM, one minute earlier than I had been told two days before. And within 3 hours everything was unloaded, a desk re-assembled, and many boxes of books and bookcases carried up stairs to the second floor. Never a complaining word; the team just did their job. I should mention that even the pins for the bookcases were removed and wrapped. Nothing was lost. I cannot recommend this company more highly -- and they are not restricted to the South Hills of Pittsburgh despite their name. They move nationwide. The pins needed to hold up the shelves are missing. Isaiah told me they were in my old home office tape together in a ball. I went back there and found nothing anywhere I looked. Afraid to sleep on either bed that they reassembled. I removed the photos and changed the rating because Jerome from Moving ahead did an excellent job of correcting all our issues. Secondary storage is a place I will NEVER entrust with my property again and DO NOT recommend. They hook you into month after month after month of leasing. Even with a 25 days notice, they say is unacceptable and **3333333are forced to charge another month. The owner, John and his side kick, Lynn are inexperienced business owners. There is no pro rating in terms of how many days of a particular month you occupy the unit. No consideration, no class! They threaten to auction your things and site these made up "laws" they claim they are forced to abide by. Owner also told me if I didn't like it, I should call state representative. Will not take partial payments! Refused my payments!
