Great storage options for sizes and indoor or outdoor storage with specials available via their website. The office staff accommodated our request easily and pleasantly, the storage unit is great both size and the fact that ours is inside so I don't have to worry about any moisture issues. The office may be closed for holidays but unit access is 365 days a year. Although access is not 24 hours, it is available early in the morning until late at night via a security gate. You provide your own lock on your unit. read more

The property manager, Tioni, is amazing! We needed a large storage unit for all of our belongings, including furniture, that we moved in a 26' moving truck. Virtually, Tioni helped to identify the required size and set up on a lease; with the special pricing plan, it was well under what I budgeted for. When we actually moved in, and saw the facility for the first time, I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the overall storage facility, offering bright lighting, freshly-vacuumed carpeting and well-maintained units. Our movers were a bit rushed in their unloading, and crammed in boxes in a haphazard way, resulting in crushed boxes and spilled contents. We felt it was best to get a second unit to prevent further damage. Tioni again came to our rescue and hooked us up with a second unit, showing us an easy way to get to the unit with our large and loaded cart. Due to covid, they are only allowing one customer at a time into their office, and Tioni wore a mask throughout our visit. The office offers free coffee (bonus) and Tioni even offered a recommendation for a mover to get our stuff from storage to our new home as soon as it's ready for our move-in date. Tioni is proud to work at Guardian, and her pride shows through the outstanding quality of the storage facility and the way she treats her customers. Thanks, Tioni--you are awesome!!! read more

Its a secure facility 365 access, but not 24/7. They lock you out if your late, and sometimes forget to remove their lock after you've paid. They go up each and every year, like an apt that you dont live in. Found out that NOT all storage facilities goes up each and evey year!! Do your research before deciding!!! read more

I have a 1985 Monte Carlo SS fully restored. As I began my search for storage units, I was referred to several different facilities. After visiting many different units, I was referred to Guardian Storage. When I walked through the doors, I knew this was the place for my vehicle. Lauren and Cindy made me feel at ease. They took the time to walk me to several different units. While walking to the different units, they explained the features and benefits with each one. I knew at that moment this was the place for my vehicle. The cleanliness of both the facility and units were amazing. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with the Guardian Storage facility in Monroeville, PA. My family recently moved to the Pittsburgh area from out of state, and we needed a place to store all of our belongings and furniture while finalizing a new home purchase. From the moment I called this facility, the staff were amazing. They patiently explained all of the storage options, pricing, and logistics. It turned out that they did not have the size unit we needed available, but they offered to give me an even larger unit for the same price. When we arrived at the facility on the morning of our move, we were extremely impressed by the facilities cleanliness. Lauren at the front desk helped us get checked in quickly and efficiently. When our large moving truck arrived, there was easy access for them to pull right up and unload all of our belongings. Most impressive, however, was Lauren's help with our newborn infant while we were consumed with unloading the truck. Lauren graciously offered watch our baby over the course of the day and even provided a quiet place for my wife to feed him. 5 Stars for Guardian Storage Monroeville!! read more

Guardian is a great option for storage needs - personal and professional. They have multiple locations throughout the area. In Monroeville the staff is amazing and accommodating. Units are clean and dry. Options include climate controlled or not, interior building and exterior units. The entire facility is very secure with mutiple security features. They always know who's coming and going. The office sells packing supplies if needed. There are conference rooms where you can hold meetings, and they have office machines for use. You can also use their 14 foot moving truck, which is reasonably priced. I did and it was very convenient. Ask for discounts and check online for specials. They will work with you. Mention my name or show this review. You'll get a discount from that. I can't say enough about this property. And I'm not one to hand out this type of praise if it's not deserved. BTW, I'm a 13 year veteran of renting space here so I know what I'm talking about. read more

First, I have to say that the staff are wonderful to deal with. They are always friendly and helpful. I've never had an issue or problem with anyone there... as a matter of fact, if I ever had to leave a message, they called me back in less than an hour. My biggest issue there, though, was that although it's advertized as climate controlled, the place was not heated... or at least not noticeably. In the winter it was extremely cold inside the building (which ended up damaging a few of the items that I had been storing there), sometimes colder than outside! On hot/humid summer days, the humidity carried into the building as well. Now, i first started renting my 10x10 unit for $99 a month, back in 2010. By the time I moved my items out and closed my account 6 years later, my rent was almost $160 per month. for some people this doesn't seem like a huge increase but, considering the fact that it was not climate controlled as advertized, and that other storage facilities charge much less, it did bother me that i would receive letters once every year (sometimes twice) advising of yet another rate increase. If i had realized I was going to have to keep my items stored as long as i did (the plan was for a year, not 6), i would've moved to a different facility. So, if you are planning to only use this facility for a short time, it's worth it for the customer service. But if you need to store your items for a significant amount of time, I'd suggest somewhere with a good climate control system installed. read more

This is a great storage facility - it's clean, very secure and the staff was excellent. I rented a unit for six months prior to buying my home and it was a great experience. I was able to use the on site moving truck free when I moved in (I believe that was a special). My unit was a great size with high ceilings and lighting. There were always lots of carts on hand to help with moving big items in and out and the loading dock was quite convenient. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone with storage needs near this Monroeville location. read more
