We needed to store our daughter & roommates belongings during summer once their college year completed. I was able to get all the needed information and reserve a unit on the phone while across the country. Not only that but I received communications leading up to the reserve date to ensure all questions were answered. When I arrived to sign the paperwork I realized we needed a larger unit and was easily moved to another unit. The area is clean, and designed to allow unloading under cover (was great since it was actually raining!). Not only that, but I realized we needed to use their box truck as it would've taken us a lot of trips to get all their stuff moved...I was able to use the truck and we had a seamless move. Never used a storage unit before today. I was a little intimidated but once I parked and entered the front door I was greeted by name and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. The facility was clean organized and efficient. I only met one staff member but she was amazing, nice , and courteous. She took the anxiety out of signing a lease and made everything clear and simple. If I need another storage unit I'll definitely be using this location again. read more

I am currently using Storexpress, the location here in Robinson Township, PA. I moved in this past month in October of 2014 when moving from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area to the Augusta, Georgia area. Overall, it seems like a good unit that I put my property into storage in but it is not without its flaws. I will get into the good and bad about this Storage facility throughout my review. To start with the good things about this storage facility which there is more good than bad to say, this is a reputable safe and conveniently located storage facility. It is located near the intersection of I-376 and I-79 just west of Pittsburgh in a mixed industrial/commercial area. It is located next to a hill with two secured entrance gates, it is 5 stories high, it has both climate and non-climate controlled units, and also offers storage space for boats, campers, and RVs. Each unit has a higher than normal cieling which can provide approximately 20% more in overall storage volume. The staff here seemed courteous and professional so you will not be dealing with any headaches if looking to do business here in that regard. To start with the negative things about this storage facility which there are a few, I'd like to first and foremost say I was misquoted, my rate on the move in day was higher than what was previously agreed upon. I got a deal over the next 6 months to go with my originally quoted price but needless to say its a headache and disappointment to have an increased storage unit price. The other things I'd like to point out is I was not made aware until the move in day that my unit was on the fifth floor, that was more of a hassle for moving in but a good thing that comes out of that is that my property is more secure. A final negative I'd like to point out is this facility is not efficient for trucks longer than 16', something to consider if moving stuff in. Overall even with the increased price and other minor problems, I am happy that I am storing my stuff here. The unit they provided me was just perfect in size (I was concerned that I'd have to get a larger unit), this is a secure and well located storage facility, the rates are relatively reasonable, and anything one is looking to store can be stored here. Storexpress has multiple locations throughout town and there is not much variance in their pricing, this one I felt was most convienent because of its easy access to the interstate. One will get a good storage unit if going here and they will deal with a good staff, I recommend this place for storage. read more

I searched around for a Self Storage place that would be close to either my work or my home. This was the first one that popped up in an internet search. All I can say is I'm glad I called. They were a bit more expensive than others in the area, but offered more in the way of safety and security. I rented an indoor space. It happens to be on the third floor of their new building. Don't let the words "third floor" put you off though. You drive into the ground floor, park, unload, take your items up in an elevator to whichever floor your unit is on, drive out the other side when done, and that's it. I was impressed with Amber, very nice person and very knowledgeable and thorough. But the most important was that I felt my personal possessions were safe there. Light, roomy, lots of ceiling height. This facility has a very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. The facility is very well maintained and secure from unauthorized entry. We rented a space to park our RV, and for $100 per month, it sure beat Public Storage rate of $365 per month! I highly recommend this storage facility. read more

We had a good experience with the storage quality; however, one of the workers, Heather, acted very unprofessional toward us. Even though we knew what storage unit size we wanted, she forced us to upgrade to a larger unit. When we asked for clarification on the price of the upgraded unit, she blatantly told us that we were making things more complicated for her. All we wanted to know was the monthly price, but she was very inconsiderate and proceeded to mock us. Lastly, when we arrived pick up our belongings after storing them in the unit for a couple of months, we asked Heather for directions to our storage unit. She proceeded to rudely tell us that we knew the way and did not direct us to our storage unit. To summarize, the price was good for a secure and clean storage unit. The only problem we had was with that particular staff member who was very impolite and acted as if we were unwelcome there. read more

Good until the end - then just ridiculous. I had auto billing and moved out today. Since the bill is in advance, I was paid thru next month. My refund? "No we don't do refunds. Oh darn, and you were just billed two days ago. Sorry!" My $180 (prorated) should have been refunded. So if I didn't allow auto billing...oh, let's not forget that last week, while moving my possessions out that I discovered my lock was tampered with and scratched up. As the personnel there explained, "oh, we have some evicted, crazy lady harassing us." Really??? Also, speaking of auto billing, let's not forget the forceful way my account was treated one month when the card declined. Instead of waiting for my return call to provide alternative payment, they billed on small amounts until they over drafted my account a little piece at a time. Be warned!!!! read more
