I have used Fretz Transfer once before. I was told I would have three guys at 99.00 an hour. Well they arrived at 8 am with two guys, telling me my rate went down to 79.00. I was fine with that. They had to move only a two bedroom house with two people in it, and I was only moving one block away. It took them 7 hours to do this. 30 minutes they spent, while on the clock, knocking on neighbors doors because he couldn't park the truck without the cars being moved. Finally I went out and told him he better find a solution. He parked it on the road like normal people do when loading or unloading a large truck. 600.00 I had to pay. I had a bank issue and the payment returned. I paid all the fees and the full payment. Three months had passed and my mother calls to schedule another move. She confirmed the date and time and said no problem. Then one hour later she calls back, after she knew she was related to me, and said sorry we are booked for the next several months and cannot move you on that day. Mind you I complained the first time and was offered 75.00 back in which I did not take. I felt they did a good job but it could of been done quicker. This company had no right to refuse my mother services. I even had a friend call to see when the next available date was and it was the same week she had told my mother she had no openings. Well the receptionist had a opening for him on the day MY MOTHER WAS SUPPOSE TO BE MOVED BY THEM. It was handled very unprofessional and for a business that's been around for so long to do this to their customers is pitiful. I understand I had a problem with the returned check but it was paid. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone due to the customer service provided. read more
