Love coming to this place! Always something good for everyone in the family. Great atmosphere and wonderful service! Highly recommend to anyone who wants a great and reasonable meal. Most dishes are shareable for 1-2 ppl.

I GOT FOOD POISONING FROM THIS "CHICKEN" PLS DONT GO HERE . the chicken itself looked not like chicken. some of the chicken inside were purplish and very dark, not white meat. the batter was somewhat crispy but most was soggy. i really wish i had taken a pic of the purple meat but i was so unsatisfied and grossed out. when we first looked at the chicken we thought to ourselves "is this strips or bone in?" even though the menu described it as bones less. Not even 10 min later, my stomach was GRUMBLING AND HURTING SO BAD. i literally was on the toilet for less than 2 minutes with how bad my stomach was hurting. ive literally never shit this bad in my life.

Got the pepperoni pizza and it was delicious! Having it with hot honey on the side made it even better. I do wish I tasted more of the marinara, as it got lost in the cheese and pepperoni flavor. I also wish the crust was crispier. But overall, the pizza was very flavorful and tasty. I would come back to try their other flavors. Also got the Aloha Warrior IPA and the Cosmic Crisp cider which were delicious!

We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and the honey bear pizza and the garlic ginger chicken , everything we ate was very delicious and had lots of flavor. The garlic ginger chicken definitely is the winner and stands out the most and the pizza crust was probably the best I've had in a while from a quick service place. The BBQ chicken pizza probably needed just a little more sauce and the honey bear needed a little more sausage but in all this place has my recommendation if you're in the area. 10/10 I'll be back to try more of their selection of pizzas.

Parking will be crazy before an event so plan accordingly! It was fairly easy to park and empty on Sunday night my last visit. Their happy hour is every day from 2:30-5:30 & such a good deal! $10 select salads, pizzas, pastas & wings. Beers were $6. My toddler loves the bolognese (over the Mac - I was surprised). The Honey Bear pizza is the parents' favorite and the ginger wings were delicious. We'll probably skip the Mac next time (ours was bland) and try something else. If you have an Amex Plat card, this is a great place to use your quarterly $100 Resy credit! The interior is large and clean and customer service has always been great - I don't mind paying the extra "fee;" you can always request for them to take it off. Also, they have an outdoor dining area that is pup-friendly so we love bringing our dog when the weather is warmer. Note: they'll ask if you want marinara, ranch, etc. for dipping - just know there's a charge for it.

Came here conveniently after watching a movie! We were greeted by some friendly workers who kindly told us to ask them any questions that we might have about the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is pretty clean and I appreciate how they have stations were you can treat yourself to some things such as utensils, to go boxes, and even add ons for your food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thankfully, we actually arrived at a time where happy hour was happening! This meant that as opposed to paying full price for the pizzas we wanted (about $17 each), they came out to be $10 each, which is an amazing deal for how big the pizzas are! Not only was our order rather cheap, but it was delicious! These pizzas stood out in that they have great cheese flavor! The crust and sauce in the other hand did not seem to stand out as much but nor was it bad in any way. I would definitely come back for more happy hour items or if I am really feeling it, maybe some other items that this place has to offer. If you are craving some solid pizza especially after a movie, this is the spot to visit especially in the afternoon!

Had grandkids and wanted something fast and what they all like. We found a parking place and a nice large booth inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone was nice and friendly and the place was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices very reasonable including drinks. I got a taste of Melvin Heyz Mexican Lager, very good so I got a nice large glass. Kids had water and Diet Coke. The youngest ordered a cheese pizza. The rest of us (4) got a large Zoe's Pepperoni and Margherita. Not much left which is a good sign. They also had a full bar.

This place was good! When you walk in, you order at the counter, and there are plenty of tables available. The staff keeps the dining area clean, and the tables are wiped down quickly. The food came out fast, starting with the Caesar salad. Just a heads up, it has a very strong anchovy flavor that felt a bit overpowering. The cheesy knots were amazing. They were warm, soft, and paired perfectly with the marinara sauce. My favorite item was definitely the Honey Bear pizza. The combination of sausage, spicy chili, and honey was delicious, and the thin crust had great flavor and texture. I would honestly come back just for that pizza. The only downside was the drinks. Unless you are getting a beer, I would not recommend them because the specialty drinks had a very lime heavy flavor. Overall, this is a solid spot, especially for that Honey Bear pizza.

This was my first time and was honestly impressed. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of toppings and cheese. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and everything came out hot and quickly. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I wasn't sure what to order and Ricardo was so helpful and recommended the honey bear. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to when I'm craving good pizza!

Stopped by for the first time after the movies tonight and it did not disappoint! We walked in, sat at the bar and ordered right away. The place was huge and clean and not very crowded for a Thursday night. Service was great from the start, we were greeted and given menus and drinks as we waited. They have the good crushed ice here too!! We didn't see the 3% happy and healthy surcharge until after my husband had paid but honestly I think more companies should do this to provide a livable wage for their staff. The people complaining about it can go spend their money elsewhere if it bothers them so much, this place has such good vibes inside that I'm sure they don't want you here complaining either. Alright now the food: We ordered the little gem Caesar salad and it was absolutely delicious! I love the way it was layered so that every bite had flavor and no leaf was dry. I do wish it had actual oiled anchovies on it though. That would have been killer if it did. Chicken meatballs - they were very tasty but do add a little bit of red pepper flakes! It gave them a wow factor! Epic bbq pizza- they added fresh red onion and cilantro on top and let me just say it was so fragrant!! The moment it hit your tongue it had an epic feel for sure! The food came out so fast, granted it wasn't busy when we came but I would definitely come back to try the rest of their menu! The pizza was so damn good!

Really fantastic pizza. The honey bear I hear is delicious. My go to margherita is great too. Brianna was super friendly so that was a plus. Space is super roomy. It was a quiet for a Thursday night but I'm sure it's poppin on the weekends. No food pics bc like Kirby, I see food, I inhale it. Ha! I will be back when I'm in town in November. read more

I don't know how to best describe my visit to Pitfire Pizza, but the term "catfished" comes to mind. We were in the area and we got got by the the Yelp pics. Immediately I didn't like the layout, it was awkward to walk in the main doors, be greeted and then sent around to the bar to order. We placed our order with a bartender, paid and our tab was closed. I went to get water and the station I went to was out of water. I grabbed what we needed, found water and sat down. At the table I noticed one of the shakers was pretty dirty. I would understand the water being empty or the shaker if they were slammed, but they were not. When the food arrived it looked great, but tasted pretty average. My husband wanted to order another beer, but didn't have a tab open and none of the employees seemed to be tasked with taking beer orders so we finished our meal and left. Nothing really stood out or was worth coming back for as the whole experience was pretty underwhelming. The water wasn't very good either. Most of the staff were friendly, but there wasn't a lot of service. There are way too many great pizza places to give Pitfire another shot. read more

I have been here multiple times and the pizza is consistently amazing. My favorite is the honey bear and burrata pie. And they even do a really fantastic brown ale. On my last visit I ordered take out, and someone mistakenly picked up my order. I let the gentleman (manager/owner?) know and he quickly remade the order and paid for my beer as I waited. I was blown away by his generosity and customer service. Great pizzas, great people and customer service. I'll be back with my friends and family. read more

Yum Yum Yummmmmmmmmm....I love this place...It seems that it's new in Orange or maybe new in Yelp...Im not sure but definitely im so happy that I found it today through Yelp. The Pizza was so yummy but if you starving for more ingredients this is not right place to order or at least ask them double it up...We ordered the veggies and added up on top of Pizza and we enjoyed it! read more

The garlic knots here were absolutely amazing! Staff came over to wipe our table. Pizza was also really delicious. Pro Yummy food! Just ordered from here this weekend via DoorDash. I was completely blown away at how amazing the pizza was. My husband got their wings as well and they were pretty good too !! We got their mushroom pizza with bacon and it was amazing! It even reheated great the next day which is not always the case with some pizzas. I think I just found my go to pizza spot. Can't wait to dine in and order all kinds of different things from their menu. read more

We are always iffy about trying new pizza spots because it's often hit or miss (and I'm from the East Coast where pizza is known to be better) but... so happy to say we are so glad we tried Pitfire! The moment we walked in a nice young man named Fernando greeted us with a smile and explained to go to the bar to order. The restaurant is vibrant and clean. Audi delivered our food and was friendly as well. They have small boxes at the drink area to take your unfinished food home. It was too small for what we needed so Fernando went out of his way to get us the box they have in the back. Thank you Fernando for going above and beyond. We look forward to coming back... glad it opened up in our city! read more

The food and service was amazing! The general manager, Justin, was spot on with the meal recommendations for our family's first time visiting pitfire pizza. We got the honey bear, bbq chicken, margherita and pep pizzas with both wings. The food was so good! Dare I say best pizza in SoCal? And trust, I've had the best pizzas in NY! We have a newborn and things would be a handful but Justin kept taking care of us by providing us with refills, utensils, napkins, etc. Very grateful to have that kind of kind and thoughtful service. read more

Food is good but I was shocked when they charged me $2.22 for a 1ounce ranch.. is that a joke.. who in their right mind spends $2.22 on ranch... I understand inflation but this is literally squeezing every penny out of people that come eat there. I'll never come back out of principle!! read more

Ordered take-out from this location on 5/30, as the restaurant was not fully open to the public. Service was fine, however, we were quite disappointed with part of our order. We order the Honey Bear pizza and the Cesar salad. My husband and I were on our way to Disneyland so we decide to eat in the car. First off, the salad is not served in a way that is easy to eat on the go. The Romaine is not chopped, but instead left as whole leaves. In addition, a good portion of our lettuce was already browning. I snapped a photo of some of it. Pizza was decent, but unsure if/when we will be back. I expected a lot more in terms of quality coming from a newly opened establishment. read more

Decided to try this spot on a whim. Wasn't expecting much from this place due to us being the only customers at the That first bite into honey bear pizza was amazing and it only kept getting better and better, until I found myself at the last slice. Pitfire never disappoints, but last night's visit was truly amazing! We had our usual favorites, Mac and Cheese, Honey Bear Pizza, and the Little Gem Caesar Salad...but the flavors and service took it to a whole new level. The Honey Bear Pizza was a standout, as always. The crust was perfectly crispy and chewy, and the toppings were incredibly fresh and flavorful. You can tell they really care about the quality of their ingredients. The sweet and savory combo of honey, sausage, is just chefs kiss every.single.time. We are literally addicted haha. The Mac and Cheese was creamy, with just the right amount of cheesy goodness. And the Little Gem Caesar Salad was crisp and refreshing, with a their bomb dressing that balanced out the our meal perfectly. What made the night even better was the outstanding service from Johnathan. He was so attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. We've always enjoyed coming to Pitfire, but Johnathan really made this visit special. They even brought out a bowl of water for our pup. 10/10 service all around, they're awesome! We'll definitely be back--Pitfire is one of my favorites for a reason, and last night reminded us why! read more

We always go to the other location. Came here twice and I think they still maybe need some time to get things perfected. Ordered takeout twice. First time was a bit burnt but I chalked it up to new restaurant and training. Ordered takeout again today and unfortunately it was so burnt I could not eat it. It was just too bitter even after trying to scrape. Luckily they're good enough for me to give takeout one more shot. After that I'll probably be only dining in. Two stars (for now) because two burnt pizzas in a row. It's a bummer that I spent almost 20 and couldn't eat my food read more

Exceptional food! We got the Honey Bear pizza and the chop salad with the salami and pepperoni and wow!!!! The balanced heat on the honey bear was incredible and it was one of the best bites of pizza I have ever had. She chopped salad was so perfect side. One of the best I've ever had! The Italian strikes the right balance of vinegar and herbs! Truly each bite between the salad and pizza was a flavor explosion in your mouth. I will be back! read more

I came across this restaurant by going to an event at the Honda Center. Just the name of the restaurant caught my attention. Next time we were in the area we had to stop here to try it out! Food amazing the pizza is out of this world. The menu is perfect. In every way. Welcome to Orange so glad to have you. You will not be disappointing. The audience is nice of course you order before you sit down which is nice. Drinks are on point they have fire pits. I love the ambience date night before a movie after great music you guys rock thank you Andrew was nice meeting the manager keep up the good work in the kitchen you will not be disappointed with this restaurant. We LOVE Pitfire Pizza!!! My husband and I love coming here after watching a movie at the theater nearby, so it was a no-brainer for us to have a little pre-wedding celebration there with our families. I inquired on their website, and Justin got back to me within a few days to answer all my questions and give me options for the party we wanted to throw. The party was amazing! We had about 25 people, and the outdoor patio space was perfect for everyone to sit, mingle, and play games. As far as service, they went above and beyond!!!! Not only was Justin so helpful in all of our phone calls, but he was helpful during our party. He and Brianna were so friendly and attentive! When I asked Brianna if she could take a photo of our large group, she agreed with no hesitation. We really appreciated them taking care of us and going the extra mile. And Juan killed it with the food! Mine and my husband's favorite pizzas are the Honey Bear and Sausage Party, so we were excited that our families loved them too, as well as the wings, salads, and the mushroom pizza. The food all came out very quickly as well. We definitely recommend this place for a date night, a get-together with friends, or a large party. Live by the circle and all the pizza there is awful. Wanted to door dash something and ran across this place and so glad we did. The pizza is really good. Surprised it's a chain. We got the honey bear. It's spicy but good. We also got cheese pizza for kids that they enjoyed. The wings, Mac n cheese and kale salad were also very good. We will def be going back! read more

I've been to the Costa Mesa location and loved it! Came here and something tasted different! Luckily Daphne at the register was extremely sweet and gave thee most amazing customer service! If this was my business I would be absolutely honored to have her working for me knowing she's treating the customers with such grace and understanding. I was driving by and wanted to go somewhere for a drink and ended up here at Pirfire. I wasn't gonna have food but the manager Thalena convinced me and i ended up getting a pepperoni pizza and HOLY SH*T it was amazing! It looked amazing and tasted even better, but not just that, the service and attention that Thalena provided was above and beyond! I will definitely be bringing my family here soon! I can here after Disneyland with my daughter because my husband told me there was a new Pitfire Pizza opening in Orange. He has been to the Pasadena one many times because he works close to there. The servers, host, and bartenders are very friendly and nice. They all seem happy to be at work. They are helpful and knowledgeable about the menu so you can ask them anything. We got the sausage party pizza, kale salad, bolognese, and everybody wants some cocktail. The Bolognese came out first and it was delicious. The noodles were al dente and my 4 year old loved it. It was not drenched in sauce and they use a spinach noodle. Then the kale salad came out. It was good for a kale salad. The kale was cut into small pieces and the sauce was a little sour so it helped to get rid of the grass taste of kale. The pizza was a little slower to come out, but it was nice and hot. I love thin pizzas. It was so melty and meaty. The crust was delicious too! It had a nice crunch to it. The everybody wants some cocktail was delicious too. It's definitely a little strong, but well worth the price. The restaurant is open and lively. The price is not bad for what you get. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place if you need a chill place to hang out with your friends or a large group. read more

Went to Pitfire today for lunch and was I impressed! Very friendly and knowledgeable service, excellent food and drinks - we got the the Frose and "made it pop"-(added a champ split into the beverage for $5 more - well worth it.) The food was excellent - we got the Sausage party pizza and the chicken pesto pizza which were both very good. And for a side we got the Brussels sprouts - amazing! Don't forget to have cookie with ice cream for dessert! Cool environment- order at the counter, sit down and they run the food out to you- and maintain the table throughout out service! Just FYI - this pizza place adds a 3% surge charge to your bill. The charge is optional but you won't be informed up front therefore you can easily miss this extra charge. I don't support these surge charges. Employees need to ask employers for good pay and benefits. read more

Decided to try out Pitfire last night for the first time & it's safe to say I will be returning to this location. The food & service was great. Luckily, the recommendations we got for food & drinks were delicious. The roasted chicken & mushroom cavatappi was my favorite. Also, big shoutout to Thalena, who was very helpful & friendly. She expertly recommended several cocktails, along with a glass of wine, and her knowledge of both the bar program and the menu was impressive. Her recommendations for appetizers and entrées were spot on. We decided on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, BBQ Nachos, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Another team member, Emanuel, delivered one of our dishes and was equally personable and engaging. He took the time to share information about the restaurant, further demonstrating the outstanding level of hospitality displayed by the entire team. Manager Dave also stopped by our table to check on our experience. We shared with him that this was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Orange County in quite some time. Shocking Racial Discrimination - Purposely Ignored and Not Served. If I could give zero, I definitely would. My wife and I came here after a Ducks game, hoping to try a new pizza place and end our night on a positive note. Unfortunately, what we experienced was one of the most blatant and disrespectful acts of discrimination I have ever encountered. From the moment we walked in, the staff at the register ignored us. They were serving other customers getting drinks, so they were open. We waited patiently in line, and when it was our turn, the two staff members made a conscious decision to look past us, avoid eye contact, and never acknowledge we were there. They did not say a single word to us--no "hello," no "I'll be right with you," nothing. The restaurant was not busy; there were maybe 20 people already eating. Their excuse, when my wife finally confronted them, was that they were "busy." This is a pathetic excuse. It does not take two people to make drinks, and it costs nothing to be polite and ask a customer to wait. The most disturbing part, and the reason for this review, is the clear pattern we observed. The staff effectively communicated with and served every single customer in front of and around us. We were the only people of color in the restaurant at the time, and we were the only ones who were completely ignored and refused service. This was not poor customer service; this was racism. It was a deliberate act of discrimination. We are professionals--I am a nurse and my wife is an administrator--and we were treated as if we were invisible and unwelcome. No one, regardless of their job or appearance, should ever be subjected to this disgusting behavior. We took our business elsewhere, and I urge you to do the same. Do not give your money to a business that allows its staff to racially profile and refuse service to customers based on the color of their skin. Be aware: based on our direct experience, they only seem interested in serving white customers. read more
