Pepperoni pizza slice with a side of ranch
    Ethan A.

Talk about a pleasant surprise. Admittedly, this place can be pretty unassuming from the outside, but boy is it worth a visit. They have nice little lunch specials on weekdays, so I decided to stop by to satisfy a sudden pizza craving. The lady at the friend was kind and helpful with placing my order. I wound up ordering 2 pepperoni slices with a side of ranch which was like $5 total. I sat down and noticed they have a few arcade machines, which reminded me of when I was kid and I used to LOVE when restaurants had arcade machines to play while I waited for the food to come out. I didn't end up playing, but I will come prepared with quarters next time now that I know. The food came out pretty quick after about 5ish minutes. The pizza was fresh, hot, and DELICIOUS. I was very impressed with how good the pizza turned out to be. The crust had a perfect crisp/crunch, the pepperoni was plentiful and flavorful, and the cheese had a nice melt and pull. The ranch was a plus, they pride themselves on it being homemade and you can definitely taste the quality. All in all, this place is well worth a visit and deserves some praise and recognition. Reasonable places, good service, and tasty food is hard to come by nowadays so you should support establishments like this when you can! I will definitely be back to try their sandwiches, salads, and to attempt a high score on one of those arcade machines.

I've been to Pizza Boy a few times now. I've tried their pizza and buffalo wings. I like that their wings are baked; however, there's nothing special about them, and they remind me of frozen Tyson wings, to be honest. The pizza is decent and affordable--nothing spectacular, though I can't really complain. It's a spot you'd go to for a quick bite if you want decent food, but there's nothing particularly special or outstanding about it. Image is of my regular pizza order, consisting of extra cheese and jalapeño.

We wanted to try a local pizza house and Pozza Boy came out in m list near our location so we ordered medium size cheese pizza. They make the dough fresh - and to my surprise it was not oily. They serve other stuff as well chicken wing salads and subs. Spoke to a local while in while - he said this place is good. And if d you are calling in for a order ask for their specials Check the website as well for full menu. Its worth a try if you are visiting Anaheim.

Mini Pizza Lunch Special (with Sausage)

Great little Mom & Pop place. There are a lot of lunch specials with great prices. I opted for the Mini Personal 1-Topping Pizza Lunch. I ordered mine with sausage and got one to go for my husband. Crust was a bit thick but I still enjoyed it. I would guess their larger pizzas have thinner crust. Cheese was very good along with the sausage. I am glad I found this place as I am in this area a few days a month. Definitely will be returning! They have hot sandwiches and pastas as well. I can see this as a good family dinner place! Service was excellent. Well run, clean and food came out pretty quick for a pizza. Looks like they are set up for pizza by the slice which for a quick lunch bite or snack would be perfect.

One thing about this place, is that the taste has stayed consistent over the years and another plus is that this place has not jumped on the, "I'm going to raise my prices just because bullshit!" I purchased a medium pepperoni descent tasting pizza for $14.00. Sure, you could go to Costco and get a bigger production style pizza for $12.00 with a production taste, but here's a mom and pop business that's not gouging their customers and because of that, I will support them and I hope you will too! If you're in the area, stop by and pick up a pie! Friendly family owned operation.

    Pepperoni and jalapeño pizza

This was my first time trying this spot. The service was great and the pizza was even better. This will be my new go to pizza spot. I asked for my pizza well done and they made it perfect. It was cheesy and sometimes too much cheese makes me sick but I'm not sure how they did it that I was fine after eating it.

    Doughy

Since a few months ago, I noticed that the pizza is doughy and at first I thought it was only the giant size as not many people order the giant and the dough would get old. Therefore, this time I decided to dine in and ordered the large size house special and the pizza was also doughy which means it is not fresh dough. I also noticed that they were preparing more dough at 7:45 pm for the next day. I loved Pizza Boy for 15 years and I will no longer buy their pizza as it is no longer fresh dough. If you want to retain your customers, make sure you use fresh dough!

Sizing is debatable and could be sharable depending on whether you want leftovers or are super hungry. Although they do share the space with The Anaheim Hotel, there is free parking right in front of the establishment for diners. The restaurant also has tables and chairs inside for anyone wanting to eat on site. Perhaps one of the biggest pluses to The Pizza Press are its late night hours. Perfect option for anyone who may decide to stay late at Disneyland and want a bite to eat after. The Pizza Press is a build your own pizza type of spot. They have a menu in the sense of some pre-suggested combinations or generic pricing for a pizza with a certain number of toppings, but for the most part, the diner comes in to create their own personal pizza and have it baked on the spot. Wait times are generally reasonable. The staff does a good job of pushing the pizzas out in a timely manner. Service is hit or miss in terms of patience and friendliness, but that doesn't minimize the quality of the ingredients used for the pizza. Most times our pizzas have turned out just right to perfect. Price point is reasonable, especially given the location. I typically order The Post which is one sauce, mozzarella, and two toppings. Never any major complaints or gripes. Overall, The Pizza Press is a solid option for a quick and filling meal in the Disneyland Resort area. My family and I are always satisfied and full after dining here.

I have tried most of the food spots here, and this has to be one of the best bargains. I ordered a slice of the pepperoni pizza (imported Italian tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, $6.99). My friend ordered a slice of the Delizioso pizza (imported Italian tomato sauce, marinated red peppers, homemade Italian sausage, chunks of fresh mozzarella, Italian parsley, homemade garlic oil, $8.99). Their slices of pizza are rectangular and are actually two squares which form one big slice. This works out great for sharing, as we split our slices and swapped halves. After ordering, they take your slices from the display and put them in the oven to heat up. A few minutes later, your slices are placed in a cardboard box, and you're on your way. They're generous with the toppings, and the pizza comes out of the oven reheated nice and hot. The crust thickness is between thin and regular, and holds the ingredients well without being soggy at all. Both varieties of pizza tasted great, and you get a quick filling meal for only $7 to $9 which is a steal in the Packing District. The woman taking orders and running the register was very friendly. I went to take a picture of the logo over the pizza oven, and the gentleman working the oven waved at me. I later found out from a friend who works at another place across the way that they are a husband-and-wife team who own and run the place. Good people.

Family of five here, including one kid who would choose spaghetti over almost anything... except from this place. The bad first. Cheesy bread -- 0/5 The cheesy bread was literally just shredded white cheese on plain bread. No seasoning, no flavor--just cheese on bread. One bite was enough. Garlic Bread -- 0/5 The breadsticks were the same bread with a very light layer of garlic butter. Again, one bite and the rest went untouched. Spaghetti -- 0/5 The spaghetti was a huge disappointment. Overcooked and tasted like Chef Boyardee (however that's spelled). Our spaghetti-loving kid didn't even finish it, which has never happened before. Sadly, another dish wasted. The good. Pizza -- 3/5 We got a plain cheese pizza and a half pineapple and beef, half black olive pizza. The pizza was the only decent thing we had. Nothing amazing, nothing memorable, except for the ground beef which was chunks of what looked like beef sausage(?)--edible and acceptable when you just want pizza and don't want to go far. Salad -- 4/5 The salad was fine--exactly what you'd expect. It's hard to mess up a salad. You could actually taste the anchovy--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Easily enough for two. My wife ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and said it was some of the best she's ever had. That's saying something. I had the chicken parmigiana, and it was spot on--perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely mouthwatering. The side of spaghetti marinara paired with it couldn't have been better. The meal came with hot rolls served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar--simple and excellent.
