Every time we are in Provo we eat here. They have amazing Pitas. We have never have bad food here.

The service is unbelievable. Friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a takeout place. On top of that, the food is wonderful and the pitas hold together so much better than you'd expect. I order the gyro and it was a ton of delicious food for a good price, and delivery was fast. The delivery people have been just as nice as the people over the phone. Pita is an old Arabic word for "bread", but the West scampered off with their word to describe a particular cousin to wraps and tortillas. The Arabs had to find a new word for bread. Even among pitas, there is a wide variety where some are soft and a little fluffy, and some are chewy. The Pita Pit's were fresh from a bag and sorta dry and crumbly. I ventured here today for lunch, and was met by a large, complex menu and a friendly gent at the counter. Every item I asked him about was "great", so I couldn't make an informed decision as to what to order. I settled on a club with avocado ... can't go wrong with bacon. The pita is dressed from a veg buffet much akin to Subway. My romaine, tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, cucumbers and cheese were all fine. I was then faced with an army of "sauces". Again, I probed for more information, and I learned that everything is great. I did glean that the most popular is Tzatziki, but yogurt and I are nemesis from a long time back. I got horseradish dijon which should more accurately be named horseradish-dijionaise. The end product tasted fine, and I'm sure that I could build better with some experimentation. The problem was that my pita with avacado was $7.22 and I'm still hungry ... to allude again to Subway, my pita had a bit of mass on a 6" sub, but it's not even in the same class as a $5 footlong. If I desire mediocre, I can get it cheaper elsewhere. read more

One of my favorite restaurants. Not usually so busy that I have to wait for more than 5 minutes. The food is delicious and customizable to all patrons. Plus there's no crash of feeling heavy after eating unhealthy food. Also outside seating. Only negative is the parking situation, it can occasionally get too busy. read more

I freakin' love the Pita Pit. The food tastes so good. I really wished that it wasn't only located in Provo. They really need to open one up around Salt Lake. So its pretty similar to subway in how the place works. You tell them what kind of pita you want. I totally recommend the Prime Rib. That is all I ever get because its awesome!! Then you tell them what you want them to put on it. And thats it, your good to go. The price is decient but the only negative is the wait. You have to wait for them to cook the prime rib or whatever you decide to get. The wait can take awhile if your stuck behind 10 people. But man, I think its worth the wait. Yes, its that good. Unlike subway, you have way more selections. I love the horseraddish sauce and I need the hamus. You will also need to watch out with parking. They are located on the corner of a busy intersection and share the parking lot with 2 other stores. I would imagine you could only fit about 15 cars so there is a chance there isnt any spots left. I do know that if you want more vegs on your pita you just need to ask for it. read more

Pita Pit is awesome and I come here weekly. They have great selection with fresh veggies. I have had excellent food and service here. I really prefer their salads, they are awesome. The reason I gave this a 4 star and not a 5 is because of the parking. It is very difficult to find a spot. read more

I cannot explain it but they have the best workers are here. Yes, they spend time with each of you so it might take a little longer than ... a fast food. But it IS fast food and delicious and always worth it! My personal favorite is the BLT. classic and it tastes so good. But really, EXCELLENT EMPLOYEES. Pita pit is really good. Be sure to customize your pita a lot since it is all free. You can spend 7-9 dollars a person pretty easy, so load up on veggies. It's way better if you get some onions, mushrooms, peppers, etc and have them put them on the grill to warm them up. It's super good that way! The staff is pretty nice and friendly. A good way to go if you need a decently healthy, cheaper lunch. read more

This is the best restaurant in all of Provo. I first started with the custom black bean pita, and then I started getting the chicken pesto. Quality every single time. I go here probably twice a week. The employees are so nice and friendly, and they get your order out so fast. They put just the right amount of pesto on it. Incredible. I'll come here until I die. read more

The food is great, but the people that work there are even better. Food is always 5/5. Employees 6/5. Somehow they found the nicest people in all of Utah. Wow. Exceptional customer service. The location is out of the way for me, but will definitely be returning because of how nice and pleasant and happy the service was. Both employees were great, but I wish I knew the name of the gentleman who rang us up because he went so far above and beyond. He offered recommendations, asked if I had a valid student ID for a discount, and if I had a loyalty card. He explained the app and I started a new card just because he was so helpful. Definitely the most underrated place in all of Provo. I've been eating here for years now and never got sick of jt. I get the souvlaki every time and it's delicious! I received some of the best service here! The staff were all SO helpful, friendly, and great at their jobs. I was treated with kindness and respect and the food was delicious! They made my food perfectly and with such neatness and precision. It was delicious! The girl helping me with my toppings gave great suggestions and I couldn't get enough of the food, it was so good! It tasted fresh and was warm. It had every topping in every bite but it wasn't messy like every other gyro I've eaten. I highly recommend this location. read more

Ewwww. The meat is not right. The lamb and beef was squishy and nasty. Maybe it's because we got the Gyros, but man!! I was surprised how bad it was! The pita bread was like a tortilla. The whole thing was just very disappointing. :( read more

Food is incredibly tasty. I love the pitas here I love that avocado doesn't cost extra. The prices are great. I come here at least 3 times per week. Staff is super friendly. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because it's incredibly slow. I contemplated 3 stars because it can be so frustrating at times. My review is short and concise: Good price The food is sub par at best. To all pita connoisseurs, I felt that my order was honestly joke. There was nothing wrong with it but there was nothing good about it. I could have made it. The set up of this restaurant reminded me of an outdated 90's teenage hang out spot. If you're going for that, where was the arcade? The booths, the colors, the depressing overall layout made for an uneasy feeling. I had been shopping all around town with a big chunky turtleneck on, holding my large turtleneck over my mouth as a mask. I walked in to Pita pick and was quickly told I needed to leave because they don't consider that a mask. I asked if they had a mask they would provide me, and they said no, and treated me like I was making a scene which I wasn't lol. I'm a shy mouse and just asked if they had any masks. Yes parking is pretty sad in front of the place but there is a parking lot on the other side of the gate next to Baskin Robbins and you can park over there. But OMG the food is incredibly tasty I have had such great food experiences here and even as I write this review now I'm craving it lol the service is great they are super friendly people. Definitely recommend trying this place if you are looking for another clean eating spot. My boyfriend Cody orders delivery from Pita Pit all the time which is awesome for me because he always shares! They have so many different ingredients and options for sauce that you can order something completely different every time. It blows my mind how fresh everything tastes. I'm so happy we finally discovered this place. Yes, the food here is amazing, but the people are even more so. Every single person at this place is incredibly kind and always happy. I can't think of another place that provides better service. After each time we order from them, Cody and I will go off about how much we love them and how genuinely sweet they are. We honestly start to miss them if we haven't ordered in a while. If we had a car or weren't at school all the time then we would eat here even more. We've recommended this place to so many people and it's cool how much everyone likes it. Just look at the rest of the reviews! People drive an hour just to eat there! Everything is always clean, fresh and delicious.
