There was a bit of a wait last time because they had a special request which was a gluten allergy, but she got to me in a timely manner made my food and everything tasted fantastic. The price you pay for the food they serve was not worth it. Service is fine, quality of the produce is fine, but the hummus and tzatziki were lacking heavily in flavor and quality. I bought a side of pita and dip as well and the pita slices were as thin as a tortilla and stiff. I paid 17$ for a bowl and a side, I would have paid 6-8$ for the bowl and skipped the dip if I had known. read more

I tried their Chicken Pesto and it was pretty good! While I understand you can't put too much stuff inside overwise you won't be able to roll it up, I did feel like the amount of chicken just wasn't enough. The first half of the sandwich was delicious but the second half ended up being mostly the whole wheat pita with not much else. It still tasted fine though and if I was hungry in the area I'd eat here again. But I would prefer some pesto chicken with each bite rather than chicken on about half, and then some renegade lettuce and tomato for the rest of the sandwich. read more

If you think pitas are limited to hummus and falafel, you are going to be surprised. I have always loved this Pita Pit. The new owners need to have this place cleaned everyday. My table was dirty the floor was very dirty with garbage on the floor. Stopped in at pita pita pit after a 12 year break after college. So glad we went back the food was really good and Ryelee and Sarah were both awesome and worked really well together. I love pita pit. This one misses the mark. Came in with friends on a road trip around 3pm. They were out of a lot of things (ex: onions...) and the ingredients weren't very fresh. The staff working were also INCREDIBLY slow and seemed to keep forgetting orders. You order and pay first - but when it came to building it... "what size?" "What kind of wrap?" This is my first time at a pita pit. The menu looks healthy, my husband and I ordered souvlaki pitas which was good. My problem is the register gal didn't ask what size we wanted and assumed we wanted large, when we saw how big they were watching the order of the person before us we asked her what size she gave us and changed it to small. The put it together gal didn't get the message and put together large ones then when we corrected her she dumped parts of the lg into small pitas which made them rather messed up. Since it wasn't our mistake why not just give us the large? The other thing is the place is dirty. The back of the chairs where people pull them out and the seat bottoms are filthy. A little TLC with Simple Green would work wonders. The wood rail next to the tables also is caked with dirt. I will go back but to another location. read more

I'm from San Diego so I got a powerful craving for a breakfast burrito now and again, so I had straight to Pita Pit and get an "awaken with bacon" with every veggie that they will grill on top of the bacon and eggs, toss in some avocado and you can totally fulfill any breakfast burrito craving better than any local offer. Beware some of the lazy staff members who do not want to give you all of your vegetables on a breakfast PITA, if they say that it's against company rules you can write an email to the owner of the shop and get a free PITA. read more

Good evening, my name is Nicholas I stopped in at this location about 5 minutes before close. I know it was kind of a bad move but still they are open until 9pm per online and there sign at the door. I wasn't greeted with hello, but we are closed. I kindly stated it shows they are open till 9pm. The person stated that they havent had a customer in over 2-3hrs and they could close early. Instead of providing great customer service and saying ok what can I get for you the person still wanted to close the store. I asked to speak with the manager and she fed me the same story about not having a customer for over 2 hrs and closing the store early. Well guess what I'm a customer during normal working hours and felt like these employees should have assisted me instead of just continuing to scrape the grill. Furthermore I asked for the general managers information and was told she couldn't provide it, I asked for the store managers in and was informed they are the same person which is ok. Ht I feel it's kind of strange if a customer has an issue a store manager wouldnt mind addressing the issue. And having the office number provided so I could file a complaint. I would also like to add that the doors were unlocked, if the store is closed lock the doors and turn off your sign. Overall I am very disappointed with the customer service I had tonight, especially when just a few days ago it was spectacular. I have had better customer service from Burger King employees. read more

There food is good but not something I love or crave. Tastes kinda fake and reminds me of subway in a pita instead of a sandwich. But sometimes I eat here when I want something quick. I like that you can order online. My only complaint is that the crew needs to work on their professionalism and not play music that cusses a lot. It gets 3 stars mostly because Yelp has its hours wrong. It's only open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. everyday but Sunday, when it is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. I knew it was too good to be true that I would get off interstate 5 at 1:30 a.m. on a Saturday and find a highly rated falafel. It's the responsibility of the owners and Yelp to get the hours right. I hope to come back at a more reasonable hour when I am making another long drive down to California. read more
