A few days ago, I picked up a few sandwiches to take home, as I was craving a good deli sub and called my wife to see what she wanted from them. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We each had the Club Supreme....and I ordered extra meat mine. Ladies and gentlemen....I did not expect this sandwich to be AS GOOD AS IT WAS. The lady who made them for us, did a MASTERFUL job. I'm still stunned, honestly, just how GOOD it was. I now have a new favorite sandwich....actually a new take on a sub I got years ago in another town- roast beef, turkey and provolone...and this Cub Supreme adds bacon and Swiss instead of provolone cheese.. I order from here about once a week. Last time I ordered online, I asked them to put the pepper relish on the side. They did not. It makes the sandwich soggy by the time I get home. This time when I ordered online, I asked for no pepper relish, and when I got there, I was going to ask for a side of it. I didn't get the opportunity to because when I walked in, there were no customers inside the worker came up, threw my bag on the counter walked away, didn't even ask my name or make eye contact, didn't say a word, didn't even give me the opportunity to ask for anything. I'm still in shock at how incredibly rude he was. horrible customer service. To make matters worse when I got home they gave me the wrong sandwich. I ordered chicken and they gave me beef. I visit this location a lot when passing through Grants Pass. PLEASE, clean the tables, floors, and beverage area. I've mentioned it in previous reviews. When you have 5-6 employees working at a time, it doesn't take much for one person to do basic cleaning. It looks like other reviews also state that it needs better cleaning. read more

I would give a lower star but there is no lower star than one. This is the second time my orders have been messed up. This time my orders went to the wrong addresses and the store States they have no liability which is actually false because the receipts actually show the address where it's supposed to go. The liability always will stand with the restaurant if the employee doesn't confirm the order and address printed on the restaurant's stationary receipt, before "handing" it off to a driver. The first law broken while on the phone was admitting they handed my order to the wrong drivers, 2 stating they are not responsible, when in fact they are 100% liable when it comes to food 3 avoiding accountability while admitting they did wrong, and stating it's not their job to confirm the address for an order that went through their store? It's not just the delivery drivers responsibility it's the stores ultimate responsibility to make sure that it goes to the right address under corporate law/business law especially when dealing with food they try to con me and tell me they are not liable but I comprehend business law especially when it comes to food a simple search would show that they are completely liable especially if the address is shown on the receipts. The store employees handed off the packages which then at that moment they should have verified the address which is cause for suit, not about the money but about the principal and because if this were to happen to another person and if anyone were to get sick because of their callus errors someone must show them what could happen. And they didn't even want to resolve the issue as Brice stated over $20 dollars I spent over $60. Luckily we were able to have a nice driver correct the stores mistakes by handing them the order which should have been confirmed by the employee physically handling the order to the driver. The driver gets the address to deliver the store sends the driver with the product from the restaurant. That's how that works. read more

This is the second time in 3 weeks our entire order was incorrect. The first time I wrote it off, second time I went back to have it made correctly. Apparently, the 5 staff members sitting on their phones in the supply room was more important than actually helping customers. Once they finally helped me, they remade the order incorrectly a second time while reading the receipt. I'll stick to the Medford location that can actually hire competent staff who want to get paid to work and not scroll social media. read more

I come to this Jersey Mike's probably 2 times a month and I never know whether the lettuce is going to be yellow/pink or actually fresh and green. I normally come in the evening so I understand that the lettuce has been sitting out but come on, the lettuce is literally disgusting half the time I come. We came in for the first time to grab sandwiches for dinner because we got their great coupon deal in the mail. The sandwiches were made with lots of veggies, piled high! The bread was tasty and they have a nice spice they sprinkle on top of the veggies for flavor. I got the roast beef and cheese cold sandwich, and even though I skipped the oil and mayo (yummiest things, but trying to stay healthy!) it was still really flavorful and delicious even plain. Love this place! I'm so happy to see this sandwich joint open here in GP. I've eaten at many Jersey Mike's over the years and just love the way they make their subs. Today on my first visit (Just Opened) I had a meatball sub with meaty cheese. It all tasted fantastic and the meatballs were tender and juicy, a real treat! The new store looks great and the staffing was helpful and responsive. The line was a bit long but it moved quickly and smoothly. Everything was fresh, including a nice display of cold-cuts in their deli case. And did I mention the bread? They make the best rolls and I imagine what ever you build on their bread will be amazing. First time ordering from this store. Huge disappointment. I got the philly cheese steak. The bread wasn't toasted enough, the peppers were half raw, the meat had cartilage in it!!!!!!!!! Everything about my visit was disappointing. After placing an order online for several sandwiches and "tasty cakes", their website said to skip the line and walk right to the cash register to pick up my stuff. There were four people in line when I arrived. I walked up to the register as instructed. Nobody said hello or acknowledged me at all. After everybody else in line had been helped, they finally said something to me. I explained I was picking up an online order. It wasn't finished yet. They said they didnt have any tasty cakes but I could have a couple cookies instead. The cookies are like 70 cents each, while the two tasty cakes were considerably more. I felt ripped off and ignored. The meatball sandwich didnt taste like beef, but supposedly it was. Maybe beef meal. The Italian sandwich was ordered with extra meat, but I would hardly consider it "normal", let alone "extra". The employees need some additional training. Went here Wed. evening at about 5:00 p.m. The music was so loud I could not hear the employee asking questions what I would like on my sandwich (Italian) he apparently could not hear me very well either because of the loud music. For months this was the best sandwich shop in town. I was ordering from them three times or more every week. But lately the quality has gone way down. Sandwiches are thrown together haphazardly, and the outside of the sandwiches are so completely soaked in oil and vinegar that you essentially have bread soup on the outside of some meat. It doesn't matter how expertly a sandwich is made, if at the end, they are lazy about containing the oil and vinegar inside the sandwich, instead lazily dosing the entire outside of the bread. Great tasting subs with fresh ingredients and awesome bread. I would have given a 5 except for the rather small amount of meat on our Philly steak sandwiches. Taste is perfect. The bread we got was the Rosemary-Parmesean which had a delicately crisp crust with a Sourdough - like chewy inside. Delicious. Next time I'll add 2x meat and cheese for about 50% more $$$. The crew is clueless about cross-contamination. Obviously either poor training or no awareness, probably both. Ti observed the staff doing the sandwich build continually scapping the cutting board with either their hands then tossing the remnants back into the lettuce bin. That means a little bit of everything including meat going into and contaminating the lettuce bin. As a former health inspector, if I can notice this bad behavior as risky, why can't management. This is my last visit to what was once my fav. Management, get a clue and do periodic observations to see if the people you trained have developed bad habits. read more
