I love the pizza here, seriously some of the best around, but the service and management are incredibly frustrating. My family keeps coming back because the food is genuinely great but we are stupid and retarded for putting our emotions on the line, every visit seems to turn into the same experience. We've waited 45 minutes or longer after being told our order was "almost ready," only to find out there was little to no communication between staff members about the status of our food. The biggest issue is honesty and communication. If the wait is going to be an hour, just say so. Instead, customers are repeatedly told their order is almost done when it clearly isn't, and that gets old fast. To-go orders are especially chaotic. Sometimes it feels like the order hasn't been started, other times it seems like it may have been given to someone else. You never really know what is happening because nobody can give a clear answer, and that's really frustrating as a customer. By the time you finally get your pizza, you're so frustrated that it's hard to enjoy it, even though the food is excellent. Great pizza. I mistakenly overlooked the meat listed on one of their pies as I ordered 3 and needed one to be veggie. We didn't realize it until we got back home. One of the best places to catch a slice or two instead of getting a whole pizza; for those days where you just want a little treat. The staff were friendly and amazing, atmosphere felt like you were in your cooler older brothers room. Very inviting. Husband and I played some games before indulging. Food was so good. Calzone was delicious and cooked just right. Pizza, Detroit style, was really good as well. Service was excellent and the staff was very nice and checked to make sure you were good. What a fun place! They have a great arcade and many of the games are 25 cents each. The food is good and they offer combo meals. The hot wings are really good. We tried Catalyst Pizza at about 5:30 on a Saturday night. We didn't have to wait for a table as it was fairly empty when we arrived. The interior is light and reads more like sandwich shop than pizza parlor. Brightly colored metal chairs and square tables fill the three rooms one of which is an arcade. It also had fun concert posters on the walls. We started with a large house salad with italian dressing. The salad was big enough for 3 people and was not packaged salad mix so we give them kudos for the salad! We'd been craving wood fired pizza so my hubby and I had the pepperoni pizza. Daughter had the meatball sub. When the pizza came out it was huge! The crust is rolled really thin which is the way we like it but unfortunately it could have used a good 5 min or more in the oven as the center was really doughy and kinda flopped losing its toppings as you pulled it off the pan. We were really bummed as the sauce had great flavor and was not sweet and the pepperoni although very sparse was also very good. Next time we will ask to have it cooked a little longer, until the edges or pizza bones as we call them have some color (they weren't even tan). This place definitely has possibilities but if you like crunchy crust you'll need to ask for it to be cooked a little longer especially if you get more toppings. The meatball sandwich was delicious and was enough that she took 3/4 of it home had 1/4 for a snack later and took the other half for her lunch the next day. We will definitely give this place another try and hope the crust comes out a little more crispy next time. read more

We have eaten here many times and it has always been great. Tonight was an exception. It took 20 minutes to get our food, I got the fuego chicken sandwich and the chicken was dry. My French fries were no very hot, more on the been sitting waiting to be delivered side. We got sodas, the cups were filled all the way to the top with ice and then soda added which does not give much soda at all! We had to go back and get 3 refills which was annoying because they were so busy. We will go back. This is the first time we have had problems so I am hoping it was a fluke. This is the worst pizza that I've had in my 67 years of life. When we picked up the pizza, it smelled "off" in our car. The crust is perfectly crisp with just the right amount of char. Sauces def are house made and everything was well flavored. I always say that you can judge good pizza by how it tastes cold direct from the fridge the next morning. Crust was still fresh and crunchy and unlike some pizzas the spice levels held up. I first got the chicken Alfredo a week or so ago and it was amazing! Everything was fresh and well put together. Of course I wanted it again so I reordered it and it was delivered through DoorDash. I opened the lid and it was sadly disappointing. The sauce was very oily and it wasn't creamy like before, the sauce wasn't sticking to the noodles at all so it tasted a bit dry. The other thing I noticed was there was no bacon on it this time. I thought maybe it was just a bad day and they were busy. So my boyfriend ordered me another pasta a few days later. This time the pasta sauce was creamy but again there was no bacon in the dish. I'm wondering if they ran out of bacon or just forget to put it in. I can barely give this place a one star. Just got our veggie pizza from the rudest woman at the counter. No hello or thank you or any pleasantries exchanged. Person who took phone order was rude as well. They are apparently too "cool" to speak to their customers. Pizza hardly had any cheese on it! So skimpy of toppings. $40 for a veggie "cheese" pizza with burnt crust. Not going back again as this is the third try for us. The downtown food cart is no more, they've "transitioned " into a full blown Brick n Mortar. Ow when you go there be mindful that things get busy, and though things may seem a bit disorganized Zach has his thumb on it and once a few more weeks pass all will become smooth.
