Well after several delays on my part I was 'finally' able to check out the new location on H St. Grants Pass. The downtown food cart is no more, they've "transitioned " into a full blown Brick n Mortar. Ow when you go there be mindful that things get busy, and though things may seem a bit disorganized Zach has his thumb on it and once a few more weeks pass all will become smooth. I can barely give this place a one star. Just got our veggie pizza from the rudest woman at the counter. No hello or thank you or any pleasantries exchanged. Person who took phone order was rude as well. They are apparently too "cool" to speak to their customers. Pizza hardly had any cheese on it! So skimpy of toppings. $40 for a veggie "cheese" pizza with burnt crust. Not going back again as this is the third try for us. Going to go to Abby's where the staff are nice and appreciate our money spent with them! read more

Although the wait to get the food was quite long (was told it would take 50 minutes on phone, then had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes when I got there to pick up). Despite that, the food was delicious and I loved everything. The presentation in the boxes was beautiful and not just tossed in like a lot of places do. Makes a difference to see things positioned with care!! The taste of the pizza was wonderful, chewy dough was cooked to perfection. Nice ingredients and the flavor was fantastic, I could tell they use high quality meats and cheeses. All the guys working there were nice and friendly too. I hope they get themselves an actual restaurant, as they will probably have bigger ovens and will be able to make pizza faster! I'm sure they would succeed, their food is top notch. If you like Pizza My Heart, you'll definitely like this place. However, this place is ten times better ! Great staff, fun, colorful atmosphere, and overall great place. I've been in the valley for five years, have been lucky enough to travel around the world eating like a king and I'm dead serious when I'm telling you this place has literally some of the best food on earth. Is it healthy? Absolutely not. If you need tofu take your healthy vegan ass elsewhere. You want literally better pizza than 98% of NYC, a Philly that will make you question the origin of cheesesteaks, meatballs that taste better than Naples...just don't think twice. Hit this spot. My husband and I love Catalyst's new adventure. Their restaurant is fun and quirky (I think someone is a Phish fan). This spot is owner operated and they are always there. Their employees are exceptional as well. They have a arcade room away from most of the dining, great for families. And the food, ah man, the Bathtub Gin sandwich and the meatball sandwich are amazing. But their friend chicken sandwich is BOMB!!!! All of their pizza options are great & we highly recommend leveling UP with the Detroit style crust. Order anything on the menu and you won't regret it! read more

The food was excellent as always. The ambience was severely lacking when there was literally FLIES everywhere. On us, on our food. Very annoying and the customers were all irritable. They had four fly apparatuses to ward off flies, but they only had about 4 of them. They had about ten tables so the other six tables were just out of luck. My family complained about how they were so uncomfortable with all the flies. Sadly, I can only give them a 2 rating. read more

Poorly run so far. Good pizza, but perhaps rethink some things. $6 / slice, yeah, I get it, its tasty. But here they put the special pizza slice ingredients up on the board, but don't actually write that, no, it's actually $7.50. Kind of bait n switch. Its a fact that is not acceptable business practices. And just an idea, if you charge that much for slices, you should be using organic flour or local ingredients, or not charging for the side of ranch, or giving exceptional customer service? My table was shorted a slice, even though I was very clear in the ordering, and sure, I didn't get charged for it, but it was the one I wanted. As she realized her mistake she told me we weren't charged for it. But no apology, no owning the mistake, no offer to buy me one for her "spacing out" on the job, I would need to go order one and pay the surprise to me $7.50. As my irritation started to immediately rise, another customer came to her at our table to complain their order was wrong as well. I see a lot of 5 stars. Not mine because my order was wrong and the pizza wasn't good at all. Ordered 1slice of the 4 cheese for my grand daughter and I don't think there was hardly any cheese on it at all. My lady and I got 2 slices of the Queen of which was suppose to be Detroit style. It was New York style. Also very little toppings. I guess we should have looked at it before we took it home because I would have asked for my $41.00 back. Should have took pictures but didn't because the pictures that show on the website don't look anything like what we got. Sorry Catalyst your only getting 1 star. read more

All I can say how is this place not packed with people right now? Grants Pass has a gem right here. To begin, the staff greeting us and explaining the menu were amazingly pleasant and knowledgeable. They were sensitive to our Gluten Free needs and ensured everything was was prepared separately. Bailey is one of the coolest dudes you will meet. Now, the food... Holy cow this is the best pizza crust in the West. My Wife's GF Pizza crust was awesome too. The wings were the best in Grants Pass hands down.. I challenge any chef or cook in the area to eat these and tell me where there is better. Everything was wood fired in their outdoor oven. Even though this place appears to be just a food truck, they have indoor seating in an old warehouse/shop setting and they pair with Rogue Valley brewing to serve you beer on tap. This place is so under utilized by GP. Please come support their food!! We want this place to stay around for a long time. read more

Tried this great spot and it did not disappoint. We drove over from Medford to try a new pizza spot. Was very busy and they handled that great as well with take out orders and answering the phone. We started off with a wedge salad and that came out first with a balsamic dressing as well as blue cheese on the side. Next came the cheese bread which was cooked very well and came with marinara that the kids liked a lot. The pie came out last and we went with the large cup and char (Personal fav) pep and was also very good. Ratings below. Wedge Salad 8.8 Cheese bread 7.4 Pizza 7.7 Staff 9.1 Ambiance 7.1 (Arcade for kids) Have a great rewards program for money off on future purchases. The Detroit style pizza here is the absolute bomb. I don't normally find myself looking for reasons to visit Grants Pass, but Catalyst has changed that, for sure. Service is always great and friendly, ambiance is simple - pretty much all you'd want from a pizza joint. The pizza, though, is the best in Southern Oregon. I normally get "The Gangster." Hot honey, ricotta, pepperoni, sausage. Crust is crispy and thick, the sauce is plentiful and on top of everything, sort of like Chicago style. Definitely worth the stop! read more

Believe the hype! I was driving through Oregon, looking for something out of the ordinary. I love pizza, so when this food truck showed up on Yelp, I thought I'd give it a shot. I got off I-5 and made my way to Catalyst. It's definitely unassuming. A small food truck in an open lot. I think there was a picnic table on the lot. I ordered the individual House Hog pizza, and added red onions. I paid, and was told they'd bring the pizza to my car. Cool. A few minutes later, one of the employees approached me and apologized - they had run out of pepperoni. He said they could run and get more pepperoni at a grocery store, or just add more of the other meats. I chose the latter. Anyway, about 12 minutes after I placed the order, a guy brought my pizza over. It looked great. But when I took my first bite, OMG! This quality pizza came out of that little food truck?!? It was exceptional, and the ingredients are clearly fresh. The pizza was $11.50 for a 10" pie. Normally, $11, and an extra 50 cents for the red onions. It's not only great pizza, but it's a good value as well. I hope to have the opportunity to hit Catalyst again. If I'm anywhere near Grants Pass, I'll be back! read more

Ordered cheesy garlic bread and a large pepperoni pizza from this food truck, on the grounds of a brewery. We were passing through Grants Pass on the 5 and we were 60 miles away, they said they would time it to come out of the oven when we arrived. They did, both were first rate, kind of a wood fired crust on the thinner side, but the sauces cheeses and toppings were perfect. Definitely doing this again next time we're passing through, as it was a quick easy trip off the freeway, and then back on the freeway going southbound, probably just as easy going northbound, but I can't swear to that. read more
