I've ordered from Mountain Mike's twice now, and both times I got the Robbers Roost pizza. Honestly, it's the best pizza I've had in a long time. At most places, the chicken on pizza is bland and forgettable, but theirs is actually flavorful. The vegetables were really fresh, too. I went to Mountain Mikes pizza this afternoon to get a taco pizza...almost nothing on it, lots of bread the veggies were microscopic almost no meat...almost thirty dollars and one feels obligated to tip with all the new systems of tipping for everything these days... I wish I could have got a pic before my wife added toppings to the pizza to make it more palatable and edible... It was just crap go anywhere else but here, you are far better off to get a frozen pizza you'll be saving the frustration of feeling completely ripped off...amazed that they are still in business they used to be good... not anymore...the parking lot is empty for a reason... This is classic Mountain Mike's pizza. Same recipe's as the Bay Area, which are a-ok. I was pretty happy to see a Mountain Mike's open here in Grants Pass, because I love pizza and the more variety of places the better. The good: Decent enough tasting pizza. Doesn't exactly blow me away, but you know the saying....pizza is a lot like sex, even when its bad, its still pretty good (LOL). I got to serve myself as much ranch as I needed (unlike most places in town which are really stingy with the ranch). Their salad bar looked really fresh and fantastic, and next time I am coming for lunch inside the place so I can have the salad bar! Workers were very nice and friendly. The bad: Price. I think its high for what you get. I got the Everest (combo pizza) a large for $28 dollars (their large size seems smaller than others large). There were supposed to be 4 or 5 different meats on this, but the meat seemed to be sprinkled on with a very light hand, I don't think I tasted much more than pepperoni and salami. Not even sure they sprinkled any ground beef? The bread is bready. Not sure if you get me, but I like my pizza crust to be chewy and crispy, there is a distinct pizza bread texture I love, and bready is not it. It's been awhile since I ate at a Mountain Mike's, but it's nice to see one open in Grants Pass. I would go to the one in Medford sometimes, but now with one here in town it will be a lot more convenient for me. What I like about MM is that it has a family-oriented atmosphere and provides the freshest/finest ingredients. It's home of the legendary "crispy, curly pepperoni" too and for me, I love pizza prepared that way with the pepperoni on top of the cheese. Tonight, I was invited to partake in their first VIP night of service before their Grand Opening. Everything was great during our meal. Of course I had to have the pepperoni topping first, but I also tried several other pies that they were serving. The "pineapple chicken luau" (with grilled chicken, bacon, cheese and juicy pineapple) over a BBQ sauce base was also amazing. Trying Door Dash for the second time in this area which is a great idea, but you never know what you're going to get. I was very disappointed with the quality of mountain Mike's pizza. Let me start by saying the staff seems to be 'top notch' these days. Friendly, helpful and productive- even when busy. I have been very impressed with the customer service. The restaurant is usually very clean. I am not a big pizza eater and have not found a pizza I like in GP until now. Yes, it may be a little pricey compared to others, but the crust isn't soggy, the cheese is yummy and there are plenty of toppings! So I am willing to pay the extra few dollars for good pizza. And I have to say I make it up with the salad bar! I think its the best price for salad bar in town (at least what I have found). The salad bar has really good options to create the perfect salad and the ingredients always look fresh. My only negative is that I do not care for the boneless wings. I have tried them twice with the buffalo and the sweet chili but didn't care for either. I guess I'll stick to pizza when I go to a pizzeria! read more

We go here every week. Never again! The pizza I ordered had very little toppings and the crust was undercooked. When I took the pizza back up to show the girl at the counter, all she said was "OH" and walked back into the kitchen. She didn't come back out until I sat back down. We each at one piece. As we left I handed the pizza to the girl and told her to throw it away because it was the worst pizza I had ever had. She just stared at me as I walked out. Worst customer service ever! Let's just say it was SO THE RIGHT CHOICE! Super easy to order online, even with customization (hubby doesn't like olives). It was ready for pick up on time and still hot when he got it home. We ate at the Grants Pass location a few times when they first opened and were fairly impressed. We bought 20 inch pizza on 9-24-2023 and it was very undercooked. The bottom of the pizza was barely set and the top half of the dough under the toppings was raw. Our friends chose this pizza place for dinner one night. They said it was good, so we thought ok let's try it! We were expecting it to be somewhat decent due to it being pretty high priced for pizza. I say SAVE your $, as it is just like Papa Murphy's take and bake pizza. So if I had to decide between the two.... It would be a Papa Murphy's for 1/5th the cost. Pizza didn't come as pictured. We ordered the pepperoni as one of our pizzas and it came with maybe 4 small pepperoni per slice. We ordered 2 pizzas, cheese bread, and a desert pizza and all were very over cooked, chewy and hard. Not a good experience at all... and honestly super expensive for the quality. read more
