They absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the Chasu Pork Belly tacos, and honestly they may be the best tacos I've ever had. The pork belly is slow cooked and then pan seared, giving it a rich, savory depth with just the right amount of caramelized texture. The shredded cabbage and pickled red onions add a fresh crunch and brightness that balance the richness perfectly. Sweet pops from the seared corn salsa, along with scallions and toasted sesame seeds, add great layers of flavor. What really brings it all together is the sriracha garlic lime aioli and chasu reduction, which add just the right mix of citrus, spice, and umami. Oh my goodness, this was the best food! We always try to go by the weekend when we are in town and they have the best food trucks! Being vegan, especially primarily whole food plant based, it is extremely difficult finding good food. So based on YELP reviews, I decided to give this food truck a try. The tri-tip chimichurri bowl is my favorite--they cook the tri-tip however well-done you want, not to mention it's enough to feed someone for a couple days. I ended up attending one of Del Río Vineyard's concerts and 'Curbside King' was once of the food trucks there. As soon as I walked up to the truck the smell of food hit me and had my mouth watering. I had to ask the nice lady taking the orders what her best/most popular dish was since I couldn't make up my mind. She recommend the Tri tip Chimichurri saying that she had yet to get any complaints about it. Boy was she right, not only did I get a nice big portion, but the ingredients used were obviously fresh and the combinations complemented one another. I had their grilled chicken and bacon sandwich... The chicken was great! The bacon was pretty good... It also had pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and was served on awesome nutty wheat bread... Pretty damn good sandwich! Here's the buzz kill about the experience... After spending a little time finding out who was going to be at the Wednesday night Flywheel location in Talent (rotated on Wednedays by 4 or 5 trucks every week) I found out it was Curbside King... I was stoked because I've never tried them and was excited to try it out... I tried calling them a handful of times to place an order so I didn't have to wait that long for my food but they never answered, bummer right? I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stopped by anyway, and just waited it out in the drizzle falling from the sky... I told the peeps on the truck I had tried calling them and they were super apologetic about not answering and they were pretty nice people after talkin to them while I waited... Not mad, but Curbside King keep that phone handy, you never know when someone might be desperate for a sandwich... All and all, I would've given CK a little better rating but it was still a tasty sandwich afterall! For being such a new truck, they get a pass this time around... The 'King' is his wonderfully bubbly self, as usual, & per his recommendation inspired me to get the lemon-rosemary Mediterranean chicken with feta. I originally wanted a salad, but he convinced me that 'over the spinach & rice bed is just as good'... & he was right! It's bruschetta style with a thick layer of pesto & red bell peppers on top, along with salsa (which I omitted due to allergies & he was totally cool about it) & a couple lemon wedges on the side (if the lemon wasn't pronounced enough for you). Everything's well balanced, the flavors are on point & I was pleasantly surprised by the addition of celery- added a fun, cool texture. Did you know they sell Prickly-pear San Pallegrino?!? Wow, wow, wow!! I tried Curbside King earlier this week on a whim after buying movie tickets for the weekend. While fixing my food, the owner was super friendly. I ordered the Thai Peanut Chicken Salad (it comes as a wrap, on rice, or on a salad). I was expecting a big bed of lettuce with some chicken sprinkled on top....WRONG! I opened the large (recyclable) to-go box and could hardly see the lettuce and fresh spinach...it was completely covered with absolutely delicious chicken. The mix of flavors was amazing. Just the right amount of peanut taste, not over powering, and just enough spice to give it some zing! I didn't think I could eat it all, but it was so good I didn't stop! So, tonight, I was excited to go back for dinner before the movies. This time I had the teriyaki chicken bento. Most bentos in town are steamed or grilled chicken on a huge bed of rice. Granted there is a least one fairly good stand in town...but this one blew the others out of the water. There was spices in addition to the teriyaki, sweet chili sauce I believe. There was also crushed pineapple in the center which added a sweetness to it. Such a great mixture of flavors. Also, the chicken was the star of the dish, the rice didn't dominate!! The chicken in both dishes was cut up nice and small for easy eating, no need for a knife. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other dishes. You may have to look for the truck. Never been here before today. I ordered spicy peanut chicken over rice, and chimichurri and tri tip in lettuce cups. The chimichurri sauce seems like its an emulsion than more of a vinaigrette. Which isnt terrible, it is delicious!!!! I ordered the tri tip medium rare or less, as most places dont understand the meaning of rare or even blue. My tri tip was still cold in the middle. Make it clear, im not complaining! My gf wanted it a little more cooked but she liked the flavor and preferred the chicken. The spicy peanut chicken is so good. There is a flavor element in there i can't place, but as long as its not cashew its all good. Brown rice, noodles, cucumber and chicken. The lettuce cups come with two leaves of lettuce per cup, which is good as there is more than enough to fill each leaf of lettuce. I have zero complaints about this food truck, and it is so good i will come back often! Not many places can i say that about. The one thing i will say is maybe i will ask for a little more chimichurri sauce, its that good. read more

Where I work provided us with luch. They ordered from curbside king. First it did not arrive on time. It turned out it was not presented as requested. Nothing was labeled so it was guesswork trying to figure out what was what. I ended up with a chicken burrito with a funky tasting egg in it. Not appetizing at all. My coworker got a pork burrito that was pretty tasty. Doing a catering job can lead to many new and return customers. I will probably give them another try but with hesitation. read more
